“I like my food bag because it takes the stress of what to have for dinner away and the favours have been new and exciting. However, lately there have been a lot of repeated recipes and the quality of the meat is not that great.”

“This is one of the most fantastic concepts ever invented. It has literally saved my sanity as a working Mum with 2 kids. Food delivered fresh to the door, recipes all ready, you know it's healthy, and it has introduced my children to a world of different flavours and foods I would probably never have thought of trying. Not all recipes are a hit but 80% of the time they are consumed with no problems at all.”

“Most nights my family enjoy the meals - sometimes they don't like the option or as they say "Mum that wasn't my favourite". I like how everything is there and I don't have to think about what to cook. Sometimes the meals take a bit longer than stated to prepare and when you are a fulltime working Mum it's not ideal getting meals on the table at 8.00pm!! A heat and eat Gluten Free option would be fabulous!!”

“We usually find one meal each week that is new and yummy. Others all feel a bit the same. Not really enjoying fish or beef meals. Last weeks sirloin was nice though. I always add in veges to meals to feed our family of 5 I love it when it is easy to add meat in later as we cater for a vegan/coeliac. It is great that you have gf option and that recipes are easy for my teens to follow. It has been great to get the kids cooking as everything provided each week and not overwhelming for them”

“My family were Food bag early adopters, back in the day when the only bags available were Classic and Gourmet. My how they have grown! In the past 5 years, we have tried the Vegetarian, Gourmet, My Own, various versions of the Classic, and Christmas Bargain Box. Food Bag continues to provide consistent produce and variety of recipes for our family.”

“We love our Food Bag. It’s brought the interest back to our evening meals. We continue with it after more than three years because the food is natural, nutritious, tasty and varied. It even looks great on the plate. We can vary it if we want to, for example, I don’t quite see the point in smearing sauces over a plate and covering it with the vegetables or carbohydrate, so we dob it where we want it. We don’t add sugar to sauces because it makes them too sweet, which isn’t to our taste with meat or fish. So we modify in very small ways to make it suit ourselves. But the variety of meat, fish, interesting carbohydrates and veges is just great. We’ve often recommended to friends.”

“I have been a regular food bag customer for years, started just after food bag started. Initially we got classic foodbag which was an absolute game changer when I was a newly separated working mother caring for three hungry adolescent children all of the time. Over the years we've tried vege, gourmet, classic for two, Christmas. I love the convenience, the variety and the fact that it encourages others at home to give cooking a go.”

“Love, love My Food Bag. I get the Gluten free bag and it feeds 2 of us for lunch and dinner for at least 5 days (as it is designed for 2 adults/2-3kids) love the menus, love being able to cook dinner and knowing that everything is there I will need.. I am dairy free also but it is pretty simple to swap ingredients out where needed.. Keep it coming FOOD BAG!”

“I love My Food Bag, I don't have to think about what to cook, it is easy to prepare and fast and it is healthy and gourmet - better than eating out most of the time and I hardly ever go to the supermarket now. The Veggie Bag has turned me just about into a Vegetarian - I almost always love the meals, there have only been 2 or 3 meals in a full year which I haven't liked. I would totally recommend it.”

“My family and I are pretty solid supporters of myfoodbag, and have been for years. There have been various issues pop up from time to time, which is expected of any large scale business operation. Some of these issues I've broached with myfoodbag and some I've let slide. The times I've asked for support I've always received it and the staff are consistently friendly helpful. However, one particular issue has popped up more than once and that is the recycling not being taken away by the delivery guys. This has been an ongoing issue for us and continues to happen. It's not every week, and recently they seem to be making more of an effort. But it does still happen from time to time and only takes 1 missed collection to offset our recycling routine at home. We are an environmentally conscientious family and this is important to us. When a service is offered, it should be delivered without fail. In saying that, we are very happy with myfoodbag as a whole and the recycling thing is only a minor drawback. It reflects more so on the delivery guys than on myfoodbag as a business. Keep up the great work with the recipes. We absolutely love the asian inspired ones.”

“I really enjoy using My Food Bag, although the herbs do get a bit tired if they aren't used until later in the week. The recipes are varied and really tasty, we get the Veggie Bag for 2-3 yet I have a family of four and most meals feed us very well. Overall fabulous. Before My Food Bag came to Blenheim I use to pick out meals out of one of Nadia's cookbooks and get the ingredients for the week, now I don't have to do that and it saves so much time and effort, it is great!”
