What went wrong was the company I made my purchase from used HERMES as their courier. I have now waited in for three days of my company holiday. Tracked the parcel out with courier then OPS sorry we missed you. Nobody has missed me as nobody has been near my property no card left. You have a duty to care for your clients and are taking their money under false pretences as you cannot fullfill your commitments. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Very robotic system when trying to contact them ok live chat try their best but they are in India. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

This is the worst company ever!!!! I give one start but they deserve ZERO! They had not only delivered my parcel to the wrong address, they LIED to me when I contacted UP TO 4 times their awful costumer service CHAT (because in the line number you are directed to a machine, no option to talk to people). They said they will contact me once the retailer contact them to arrange another delivery AND THAT NEVER HAPPENED. IT WAS ME, WHO HAD TO TALK WITH THE RETAILER TO GET MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE OF THEIR INCOMPETENCE! PLEASE, AVOID ANY CONTACT WITH THIS COMPANY.

This is the worst delivery company you can ever ask for. You cant contact them via phone as it asks you to start a live chat where you sit in a queue of hundreds of people. I asked them to deliver after 5pm.... anytime after 5 surely that is not hard. But no the guy shows up at 4.20 and of course there is no one here. The same rubbish will resume tomorrow I would assume.

They have lost an item - admitted they have lost it but want me to contact the shipper? I am the shipper I placed the order They are making claiming for the loss a nightmare & coming up with stupid emails that drag this out.

My Hermes LIE continuously, I have experienced shocking service from this company for over 4 years and avoid them at all times. The problem is some companies don’t state which delivery service they use and you don’t know until after you’ve purchased. I bought two items from a seller on eBay who stated delivery by Royal Mail but sent it by My Hermes. As usual the courier lied about attempted delivery on the 20th of February then it was 7 days before she did actually turned up on the 27th with the parcel by which point it was too late. Because the tracking showed a delivery attempt was made in the 20th eBay closed the case in the sellers favour. I have seriously had enough of this company and I would like to know how they can be held accountable. Before today I have suffered delays, frustration, stress and absolute annoyance but now I’m actually losing money!! How can this not be illegal!! I will state again they are LIARS

Myhermes have delivered twenty two parcels for me in the past month and all have arrived within two or three days.They were sent to all parts of the UK including Northern Ireland.The couriers also had to battle atrocious weather conditions. Well done. There was a problem with one which had damage to the packagng which had also slightly damaged the contents. Not happy but at least it arrived.

DO NOT USE HERMES to receive or send your items they are irresposible with your items and have no care for there customers WHATSOEVER you have been warned!

Hermes have managed to lose three parcels of mine in one day. Items that I have hand made for clients, trying to establish a small business. Putting in a claim for compensation I am advised that they will not be settling as "We’ve assessed your claim and on this occasion we’re unable to offer you a settlement as the contents of the parcel are excluded from compensation for loss." The excluded item being an item of bone china. They quite happily accepted the item to take delivery and at no stage advised as to the exclusions. I will give you my conclusion - lost me a client; failed to deliver, lost item, failed to compensate. So I have had to rightly return monies paid to the client as they have not received the goods. In effect paying out for Hermes inadequacies. Avoid them like the plague. Atrocious service. I am still waiting for my manager's call back. I shan't be holding my breath!

My herrmes means absolute mess. Unfortunately sellers on ebay involved me in this awful promise for delivery. Tracking parcel notifications of delivery time and day are 4-6 hours later. I waited for the parcel for 2 days at home and every time after 6 pm the notification was about the delay though in the morning I received the promise for delivery. the third day I tried to chat with myhermes explaining the problem and I was promised to be informed at least an hour before the delivery. nothing happened. Nobody even knocked at door. I was at home and sometime later I found a piece of paper where it was written that the courier missed me. No time of delivery on paper, no name of the courier on paper. the same had happened before. I am going to put the negative review for the seller on ebay because they frustrate us, buyers, with this mess myhermes .I hope it will stop them making us pay for mess delivery.

Oh dear - decided to give them a try - never again. Sent two parcels and the contents arrived completely smashed. Both recipients said the items were very well packed but the contents looked as if someone had thrown the ground and then stamped on them. I know they don't insure china (in fact they seem to be very reluctant to pay out on the things they do insure) but I always pack well and have never had anything broken in transit by Royal Mail or CollectPlus so I was prepared to take a risk - but this looked like deliberate damage. Added to the fact I received two deliveries from them where the driver hammered on the door so hard it upset my dogs and the second time he did it (having been asked not to) the dogs had a fight and I incurred £700 plus worth of vets bills. They are undoubtedly the worse company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with and I will never ever send anything with them and if I buy anything it will be from companies who don't use them. Completely useless and seemingly completely unconcerned about this.

Hermes lost my parcel between the drop off shop and the van. Their handling of the situation was absolutely shocking. Online chat was extremely slow with advisers 'speaking' with several customers at once then being unable to do anything but give stock responses. The first telephone call to Hermes resulted in staff telling me to go to the parcel shop myself to sort it out (which I did, twice). The parcel shop manager rang me to say Hermes had reported that the parcel had been delivered 12 days before I left it at the parcel shop. Although I eventually received a Hermes' manager's call, I requested an investigation of the way the incident had been handled but received no further communication. They compensated me one third of the cost of a very special gift. Won't ever use Hermes again.

Parcel 'dissappeared' off the radar on Saturday & two live chats have failed to resolve or find anything-hardly surprising when you are speaking to someone in India. This will be the third parcel in as many months that has been nicked by one of their disingenuous drivers. Take my advice & never use this bunch of clowns again, pay the extra for a proper courier company with standards & self-respect.

Shockingly bad. So many examples of leaving parcels in an unsafe place, agreeing claims - saying they have paid them but then no funds ever received & then they ignore written communication & when I try to resolve via phone they hang up on me. They have damaged and lost loads of my parcels, chucked my parcels over high gates and fences and left them plus caused an untold number of problems for my innocent customers. After 3 delivery attempts tracking information disappears which then reflects badly on sender as no evidence parcel even sent. If parcel lost and they later find it they hand it to the recipient even though they are fully aware that recipient has already had a refund from sender and lose sender even more money. Sick of them putting my business at risk, upsetting my customers, hanging up on me and CEO's office not replying to my emails. Court action is only option left for me now as they will not liaise with me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!

My parcel was lost at their central depot. No attempted delivery. The company has no internal investigations. No lost property storage. I had no refund for them not attempting delivery hitch I paid for or for the loss of my childhood possessions in a central office. They have extremely poor customer services that follow scripts. I am shocked they can charge me for not providing the service I paid for or taking lost items seriously.

I was not in when the parcel arrived. Spoke of web chat to arrange delivery. Promised a time & date. No show. Back to Web chat to learn that parcel had gone back to depot. I am furious. I have now got to chase up the parcel. What a shambles from a tin pot company. This is the first and last time I order anything that will be delivered by Hermes. They are OK at saying"sorry for inconvenience ". We'll it does not work for me. I strongly advise firms not to use Hermes and customers to check and refuse to order anything for them to deliver. If they had a minus 10 that is the rating I would give them.

Stay well clear of this company. Wish I'd read reviews before using them. Sent my parcel which contained gifts for family member, large square box. After couple of days of tracking my parcel noticed it hadn't moved from my local depot. On apparent investigation, the parcel cannot be located. A large box containing over £80 worth of gifts just disappeared, very strange. On asking company if courier and depot will be investigated, the question seems to be ignored. Please do not use this company.

I have been charged twice on my Paypal account by "Myhermes" for 1 postage item. I have contacted them on 4 occasions but they haven't refunded one of the payments - or replied back to let me know their decision. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Driver delivers to wrong address (10-12 times). No way to contact. All the companies I use I am asking please don’t use Hermes worst service ever. The address on parcel is 100% correct.
