“Would give a zero of I could. Theiving company. Paid extra for next day delivery and they lie it has been delivered when it clearly has not as I was at home! No caed was left either. When they claimed to deliver it. Never using again! Avoid!”

“Utter rubbish! Parcel received 3rd December, still not received on the 16th. Tracking shows still not at the local depot. Phone enquiries pointless as there's no option to speak to anyone. Hermes assist is nothing but an annoying robot that fails to connect you to an adviser, over an hour trying to get anything. I will never use them and I won't buy anything that is going to be delivered by them. I could be dead before I get my delivery.”

“I have waited in now for 2 days for delivery. No parcel, no calling card. Have now spent 1 hour waiting on an assistant to contact me to be told to try again later. I have never had such difficulty with a delivery company, the service is absolutley disgraceful. I have given one star as I cannot given none. That is the only reason. For a large company it is appalling.”

“I have never had something being delivered by hermes be on time. Was meant to be here between 2 and 4 but no it's not here. Every time. Or the stuff is damaged.”

“On 3 different occasions tried to deliver something to my work, every single time received a time slot between 6pm-8pm. On every occasion I’ve wasted an hour in the live chat queue to change delivery address as the office closes at 5pm. No they can’t, contact the retailer. So I did, the retailer sends me back to Hermes because they already have the parcel. Ask nicely for a different time slot, every time get the same one. Every other courier lets you change your deliver address if you require. I have had to re order 3 times because of their silly delivery times and the inability to change address.”

“The worst delivery company ever. It's just impossible to trust them - my parcels have gone missing twice! Good thing that the both companies I bought items from refunded them or offered to resend them with other, more trustworthy courier companies. This company shouldn't be allowed to operate!”

“The company obviously employs liars. Website says couriers work 8.00am to 8.00pm tracking says my package delivered Through letterbox 5.00am yesterday morning. If that were true my dogs would have gone wild as package was 12 soft squeaky toys for them. Not sure why this company is allowed to continue trading”

“Criminal! My son’s Christmas present - £80 Chelsea FC kit from Chelsea FC Megastore has been stolen by Hermes driver. I was emailed to say my parcel had been delivered to me and signed by me (a squiggle was provided as proof of my signature)!!! My son and I were out all day on Saturday. Hermes say parcel was delivered to me at 4:58pm - I was at Vue cinema in Reading watching sequel to Jumanji at that time! Not sure why retailers use this courier service - it reflects badly on them. Customer service at Hermes is non-existent - no one to speak to and email address advertised on their website is invalid!! A criminal and fraudulent company which ought to be investigated by the police!”

“This Company is a Joke 3 days i've had to wait in for delivery, each time they changed the delivery time and then sorry driver had problem Your courier has had an issue with getting to the delivery address. If you have any delivery instructions you think might help, visit the help section and use the “Before you get in touch” page, I live on a main road in a city every other Courier company has found my house and have no problems with delivery, so today i await again for delivery or can't find house, Hermes customer service is non-existent. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”

“Hermes - Dishonest and criminal I ordered my son’s Xmas present from Chelsea FC Megastore. I received an email from Hermes at 11:30am saying parcel would be delivered between 6pm and 8pm. I was out from 9:30 until 18:15. Am email from Hermes stated that my parcel had been successfully delivered to the intended recipient (me) and that I had signed for it!! I was not at home to take delivery as I was at the cinema with my son! The driver is clearly dishonest and signed for it him or herself! My son’s Xmas gift is an £80 Chelsea FC goalkeepers kit and I cannot afford to buy another one before Xmas! Chelsea FC megastore have said they will investigate but could not resend my parcel until their investigation is complete - after Xmas!! My only other option is to spend another £80 for another kit which is money I do not have as a single parent whose salary is just about covering the cost of Christmas. Hermes customer service is non-existent. Not sure what to do about my little boy’s Xmas gift - Hermes has ruined Xmas for us.”

“I had an amazon return that needed picking up from one of their centres. I dropped it off over 3 weeks ago. When I checked whether it'd been picked up on the Hermes tracking site - parcel is still sitting in the shop. I've told amazon about it. Hopefully they'll get rid of this courier as they are useless at picking up and dropping off items.”

“My parcels were delivered, according to email received they were signed for. They had been left on front onto door step in full view of anyone passing, obviously the driver does not know how to use the doorbell and we have an invisible squatter who signs for parcels”

“Last year in 2018, three of my parcels to be delivered to me went missing. This year 2019 another parcel goes missing, all approaching Christmas. Hermes needs to have a safe guards in place where their dishonest drivers are concerned who are tempted to steal at this time of year. I have noticed that quite a few people on here have had their EBAY deliveries stolen, gone missing or have been damaged in transit. This is a truly awful service.”

“I tracked my parcel and it said it was left in a safe place...the letterbox. I checked my CCTV only to find out nobody had been to my door as I knew I was in at the stated time. My friend down the road also got the same message, saying it was put through letterbox. He had ordered trainers. Oh my there are some thick people working for hermes....either that or hermes just dont care if parcels are REALLY delivered or not”

“Hermes drivers are either liars, fraudsters or thieves. Or all three. Yet again I have received notification that my parcel has been delivered at the first attempt. They have provided proof of signature (mine) and confirmed the delivery address (again, mine). However I am not currently in the country and no-one is at my house to take delivery. And I phoned my neighbor who also hasn't signed for it. So, instead of making 3 attempts to deliver the parcel the driver has simply signed for the parcel himself and either nicked it, binned it, or just left it outside the house for some passerby to steal over the next week or so while I'm away. How do couriers like Hermes continue to be able to operate like this? This seems to be a common problem and yet big suppliers still use them. Annoyingly this is an Xmas present for my nephew that I will be hard pressed to replace before Xmas.”
