My Amazon Parcel was opened, I guess to see if there was anything of value to remove....but it was just a book....I will not order items from Amazon again if hermes are going to deliver....just not trustworthy

I think a one star rating is more than you deserve, but I wasn't able to leave 0! Appalling service - said you have delivered when you haven't (and I was in all day!) and the photo of the 'delivery' was just a grey blur. Unable to contact anyone. Would NEVER choose to use Hermes - ever!

Terrible, never deliver when they say they will. Online updates are useless. Claim to have made a delivery attempt when they haven’t. No way to speak to someone on the telephone in Customer Service. You get very little help with online chat and often the responses are conflicting.

Absolutely useless company. Lost an item and didn't contact either sender or receiver. Getting in touch with them is almost impossible. Use anyone else bar them as they are not a courier company who can actually deliver parcels and their customer service is shocking!

Similar to other reviewers, as soon I find out a parcel is being sent to me using Hermes my first thought is "Oh no, here we go again". No other courier company has a problem finding our address, but it happens every time with Hermes. The "customer service" phone number has no option to speak to anyone, and just refers you back to the website. Trying to track my latest parcel and the tracking page just says, "Our driver had an issue finding your address" with no other options at all. Complete joke of a company - they should be ashamed.

My hermes driver claims to have delivered a package but had not. he put a line through the delivery signed box. neighbours dont have it. local shops dont have it. moron has most likely dumped it in a bush and called it a day, and to top it off hermes wont respond to the company i purchased it from so they cant send a replacment. my herermes have to be the worst delivery service i have encountered and they hide behind an automated service when phoned so good luck to any one else who needs help.

Charged my credit card for a parcel I never sent. I could not find a way to speak to anyone at Hermes to discuss the matter. Their contact telephone number is an automated service which just confirms the status of a parcel. I tried to email them but the Customer Relations email address is no longer in use, you are just referred to the main website address, the live chat service there is also automated so again only confirms the status of a parcel, I do not think that there is a live human being at the other end? Had to contact my credit card company to refund the incorrect charge.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I sent a bike and it got lost. How do you loose a bike? I don't know but this company managed to do it. It said on their tracking/website that the bike was in their depot. I tried to contact them several of times but it was impossible to speak to or get email address to a real person. VERY FRUSTRATING! Eventually I got an email to send a message to, asking to get details of what's going on with my bike. I never earns back from that email. In the end I had to go through a mediator to finally be told that the bike had been lost. In addition they only pay £25 in compensation. SUCH A BAD COMPANY!!!

I would sooner get on a train and fetch it myself than use these people spent days waiting in... says tried to del and left card.. No card. List item supposedly with courier. The list goes on... just Lies.., should be closed down. Not fit for purpose Next you need to review your courier service

Ordered christmas present via amazon last week (tuesday 10th) said it was out for delivery but extreme weather circumstances were delaying it. It was next day delivery and my work is right next to the hermes depot which my delivery should be at and pretty sure i would of noticed any extreme weather or natural disaster to and from my way to work each day considering i drive right past the depot it says its stored at ! The customer service is a joke, not had any updates on track my package since 12:50 on Friday (claiming there was extreme weather preventing delivery). complete bulls*** excuses and now looks like no one will be getting any christmas presents from me because Hermes is a complete joke!

Every time I find out that an order is being delivered via Hermes, my heart sinks. On multiple occasions, I have waited in for a delivery, only to find a message on the tracking system suggesting that a delivery was attempted, which never actually happened. I’ve tried using alternative shipping addresses yet still had failed deliveries. What makes it worse is that it is so hard to speak to anyone within the company to address the issue. Worst delivery courier I have ever known

BEWARE - VIOLENT INCIDENT INVOLVING HERMES AGENT IGNORED - CUSTOMERS NOT SAFE Recently went to a listed Hermes agent at Lee Beach Stores and More, Lee on Solent, Hampshire. The male agent employed by Hermes at this location was rude and abusive from the moment we entered the shop. He then became violent when asked not to be rude and not to use foul language. He literally picked up a metal bar stool and tried to assault a customer with it. This was a completely unprovoked attack and the escalation to violence was irrational. There have been other incidents involving this agent, where customers are threatened and abused without provocation. A complaint was made the Martijn DeLange - CEO of Hermes UK. No response has been received and the incident has been ignored by the company. The agent is still listed on their website and customer encouraged to go there. Hermes need to be shut down because they are failing to safeguard their customers and do not do proper checks on the people they employ. There is no straightforward complaints process for incidents like this to be reported to Hermes, and even the CEO couldn't care less that extreme violence was used on customers. This company should be avoided as unsafe. The company completely ignored this violent incident when reported to them

I dread the message "We have received your parcel" from Hermes as I have more chance of winning the lottery than having my parcel arriving at the proper address, undamaged and handed to me. However, my contract is with the seller and not with Hermes, so when tracking says parcel left in my (non existent) porch, or was signed for but not by me or anyone I know, or any of the myriad of lies churned out by Hermes I contact the seller and complain - strongly. It is the seller's responsibility to sort it out and not the customers to be chasing round trying to track down their property or struggling to contact Hermes customer service at £6 (minimum) per phone call

First off they lie Attempted a delivery and left no calling card . with no way of tracking when i will get the parcel , second try and contacted them!!. This company is a joke how it is is business i will never know , Pay the right money and use Royal mail or DpD

Firstly you make it impossible to get to talk to anyone about your poor service which is in itself the worst customer service you can legally provide. Please sort your in shop labelling machines out in cornwall tr postcode area as I have just spent 4 hours driving to 6 different shops near ish to newquay to find a machine that works. This is really not acceptable

On two occasions they have not delivered my parcel which was supposed to a next day delivery. If I had not contacted the seller and chased it through I would not be able to k ow where the parcel has gone. It was finally delivered after a week. And another incident was the driver delivered my parcel onto another street, knocked on my door and said mistaken dropped the parcel at a different address and had signed for it when asked aboutvthe signature on the tracking. When I picked up the parcel at that address, he left a note there saying I missed the delivery. I mean if your drivers cant do their jobs properly at least be honest.

Would give no star if possible. Absolutely shocking. Had to reimburse 3 people for evidenced damaged items received. Discouraging to claim - they request call helpline at minimal cost of £6 per call ….WTF.....STAY CLEAR
