Absolute incompetence - my parcel has apparently been sorted at the national hub 7 days ago, and has since vanished off the face of the earth. My parcel contains an order for a hand crafted item which was nearly 4 weeks in the making!!!! WILL NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY AGAIN WITH A BARGE POLE1111111

You were a good company initially. Then the last time I used you, your driver could not be bothered turning up, after me taking the day off work as a holiday. I got 0.79p compensation off my next purchase from you. Daring not to use your services again, I took a punt tonight and thought I will take the parcel to the shop myself. At least then I know it will be delivered. Low and behold, the shop barcode came up as unregistered. I stormed back home and got on to live chat, to find out what in the hell was going on. The customer service was so slack ! She said "Try another shop as sometimes the barcodes are not reliable" I said that I had put the number in manually, so this could not be possible. She insisted that I try another shop, so I did. The next shop (Which My Hermes had down as a vendor) Was nothing of the such. By now I am furious and thinking what the hell am I doing using this shower of Sh**e. I eventually found a shop that was 5 miles from my house who DID take it. Incidentally I will NEVER use this service again

These guys are pathetic. Couriers can't find addresses, missing parcels all the time. Chasing a missing parcel is a joke, no one ever calls you back. They run purely on email and webchat in India. Insure your parcels, or face the consequences.

We have had two lost parcel investigations due to the driver not collecting a signature when we paid for one to be obtained, and one lost parcel which has cost us a lot of money and stress. The customer service is poor.

2 of my parcels been lost in 1 week, no refund, chat is useless,they keep copy and paste the same I do online. Lost the items,lost 150£, they apologise. Thats all they do. Tracking is a big lie,they just say delivered,but never received. Sitting in their cars I think,collecting for christmas. DONT USE THIS COMPANY

The first time used, they left the parcel outside in full view, then reckoned they left the parcel in a secure location, yeah in the rain next to a main road that's secure. The second time used, the courier banged on the door with his fist, even though we had a door knocker. when informed that we actually had a knocker he got very rude. He rather intelligibly said something about not wanting my delivery so I replied whatever. He then promptly turned tail and fled taking my property with him. So the moral of the story if you don't want what is rightly yours and you may have paid for delivered to you, then don't use hermes they are totally rubbish and not to be trusted.

This is the worst delivery company I have ever dealt with. I was due to receive a parcel and I missed the first attempt. I requested a delivery after 6pm but a delivery was attempted at 12:51, apparently it cannot be guaranteed that the driver will read the message first. I contacted them again asking for the delivery attempt to be made on Friday after 6pm, but I cannot request a day change. Even though it says so on the website. This company, unlike others, does not offer a pick up point for security reasons. Again other companies offer this so not an acceptable reason. All I was offered was a request to deliver to a neighbour (why isn't this attempted at the first delivery without notification?) but again they cannot guarantee that the driver will see the message before the attempt. I could not speak to a manager because they don't handle complaints from 'retailer parcels'. Why even offer a web chat service, nothing has been accomplished with my two chats for this, and the previous delivery. For the previous delivery I did not know who the retailer was (no one I ordered from admitted to using this sub par option) and all I was told was my retailer was DPD (a competing delivery company). My numerous attempts to point this out on email and web chat were ignored. So were my requests for someone to check the return address on the parcel itself as it was still in their possession. If I new a retailer was using Hermes I would choose another retailer.

Tracking showed that a parcel would be delivered today, I waited in all day, but no parcel. At 5pm I thought I would check the tracking info, and it said that someone tried to deliver at 12.50. My door bell works without problem and is very loud, its impossible I would not hear it.

Failed to collect my parcel in the 12 hour period I had selected online and paid for. In attempting to get a refund I have been told the courier had tried 3 times - this they may have done, but certainly not in the period I had requested and waited in for! I'm still persevering with jumping through the numerous hoops required to be refunded, but clearly dealing with a company whose customer service employees cannot comprehend the rudiments of the my complaint and pass me from one to another. They clearly do not want to know!!

They lost my parcel; I was returning running shoes and now the return time that the vendor has stipulated has expired so even if they deliver I will not get my refund - 5 days it's been sitting or not sitting in their depot (lost, stolen or otherwise) - currently waiting for so called 'support team' to send me an email - when a phone call would be better - have asked for a full refund and cost of running shoes - took out insurance - gut feel, my monies have gone.

Apsolutely terrible. I have an image of their driver collecting the parcel but then only to 'lose' it. How on earth can so many parcels go missing with modern technology. Who on earth are they employing. Live chat is a joke, they don't read what you say and reply with a standard reply. They don't bother looking for your parcel that has supposedly been lost as they know full well one of their staff has taken it home. How on earth can they continue to trade, surely they should be investigated by Trading Standards - who are the next point of contact for me and I would suggest everyone else contact them too so they get involved in the sham of a company.

Packages going missing in the main depot. Quite how they can do a thorough search and not locate it is baffling. It became pretty obvious that someone had stolen it from the depot having taken a fancy to it. Sadly i don't appear to be the only one who has experienced this. With a max of £250 (even when they magically lost the damn thing in their own depot) you are pretty much throwing money away the moment you send anything through them. Overall ratings don't lie and myhermes reputatuon is poor at best. Would never use them again.

Just to follow up from this, within 2 hours of writing the review above and contacting their CEO to complain I now have my package, it's a shame you have to go to such lengths to resolve a delivery issue, so thumbs up to the CEO complaints team, general customer service and other points above however need to be addressed.

Wow... avoid like thr plague!!! Never before have I had to ensure such a level of incompetence from a courier company. Firstly they put a card through your door that you cannot use to track your delivery on their website you need the code which only the sender has... Secondly there is no option to reorganise a delivery on their website. Web chat is fine but only available until 8pm... when you get to speak to someone "there is nothing we can do you have to speak to the sender" how the hell is the sender going to reorganise a delivery they don't know my working pattern, what is the need to go through them? Tracking option gives a different response to that of their customer services number as to the location of a parcel, WTF??? How hard is it to have two systems talking to the same database give the same answer. If you use the email us link to contact them to reorganise a delivery.... they just ignore it.

This company should be shut down. Terrible customer service and the parcel rarely arrives in one piece if at all. The first problem I had was the driver throwing a package over a fence into the back garden of the customer, claiming he had delivered it. Now many parcels have just gone missing and MyHermes refuse to deal with it, claiming they were delivered.

Tracking service states they attempted delivery last night. Lies, wife & I were both at home waiting, no one came to the door or knocked. Tonight the tracking service states item returned "for resons beyond their control". No one is answering their phones, just left listening to background music for hours!!!

My parcel was damaged and they lost it. I paid for my parcel to be picked and also bought insurance. Now, I was told they sent an email to claim but I never received it. They sent another one but I was unable to open the link. I have an autistic son who was ill. So it took me longer than a week to go to the library and even then the link wouldn’t work. Live chat ppl filled it in for me. They won’t pay because they said I was late in filling the claims form. I’m really not happy at all.
