Trading standards needs to shut these cowboys down. They have lied multiple times today, telling me to stay home 12 hours. Then to tell me to wait 2-3 days! I have evidence. I'll be contacting trading standards.

I would give this lot a 5 negative stars if I could, get a strange message on the tracking that the driver on arrival at customer's address he found a damaged parcel in the back of his van , so instead of giving the parcel to the customer (who was the legal owner of the goods), he must have just driven off with the parcel in the back of the van. After a few days, nothing on tracking, so I contact Hermes to find what is going on, they say that they will carry out a search at the delivery depot for parcel. After 3 days come back saying they can not find the parcel and they have lost it, would I like to make a claim against them. OK I have get a real courier company to deliver a 2nd consignment to the customer and then make a claim for a 'lost parcel'. My claim for a 'lost parcel' is mysteriously changed by Hermes to a claim for 'a possible damaged parcel?' and then refused by them. ------------------------------------------------------------ Dear ********** Regarding parcel number: 9431364252306983 Thank you for submitting your online claim form to myHermes. We have assessed your claim and on this occasion we are unable to offer you a settlement; the contents of the parcel are prohibited for shipment via myHermes. Please visit the following link for a full list of Goods we do not ship; • Liquids Kind regards, Abhay Dabhade -------------------------------------------- If you have lost a parcel, carry out a search and can not find it, how do refuse a claim because you have now strangely found all the contents of it. (Parcel had bars of soap in it, for the children's washroom in a school.) Crap company, crap staff (must be too busy putting fake 5 star reviews on Trustpilot - have you read the 5 star ones, strange how they only ever 2-3 lines long, with no details and obviously fake names!!), crap service provided that leaves you of pocket and on your way to the small claims court - https www gov.uk make-court-claim-for-money AVOID AVOID AVOID at all times myHermes, get your customers to pay a bit more for postage (I know that's difficult) and use a legitimate courier or parcel company, this lot at Hermes will just rob you blind.

Worst customer service I've ever received. So sick of it I can't be bothered to write to all here

If you are thinking of sending a parcel with Myhermes you must look at the prohibited goods. For instance a camera is prohibited and if lost in transit they will not pay out, and on the declaration on the package state something that is cheap ie. clothes pegs, fishing weights, Fish tank gravel and this will very much reduce the chance of being "lost" in transit!! If an item is lost it will take 2 weeks to pay out! Live chat employees do not always understand the question or do not answer the question- very frustrating!!!

If I could give them no stars I really would!! Wouldn't accept PayPal payments even tho the funds was available. Put my bank details in and payed that way. Checked my statement and they helped them selves three times. There's obviously no contact number to call in. Went on web chat to get fobbed off promising me that somebody would contact me within 4hrs then went on web chat again to be told in less than 2hrs somebody would contact me. Third time then jumped to 24hrs!! Customer service is really poor. I will not be using again.

Shockingly bad service. I do not understand why any retailer would use such a bad delivery service. I shop online a lot and am awaiting a delivery from Kurt Geiger. Tracked it on Hermes site to se that on the 14th Sept it was 'delayed' and on the 18th Sept a 'return to sender' note was added. It was out for delivery on 15th Sept and I was in all day but no sign of t! Has certainly put me off of using the Kurt Geiger website and any other retailer that uses Hermes. Sadly you don't get to see what carrier they use until the order acknowledgement is received. Hermes is abysmal.

his is one of the worst delivery company I've ever come across in my life and quite unfortunate am going the same mess with them second time. I ordered stuffs for kids on sportdirect and got notification text that it's with the courier with tracking number. After a day of another text message that it would be deliver on that day and tracked it again to see the progress. After few seconds I was shocked getting a text message it's been delivered to the neighbour and I went out straightaway if there is anyway I can catch the delivery person but was shocked that there was no traces of delivery guy around my place. I went back to mine and checked everywhere if the crocked courier left any leaflet card but there was no card. I only have one neighbour and they've been away on holiday and even tried knocking their door to check if they are back perhaps they helped in receiving it and felt extremely bad and furious. I rang the dodgy Hermes up and one Indian guy was chatting rubbish and couldn't understand him what he was talking about, hanged up and call again another Indian lady picked it and tried to understand what she was saying but they kept saying I need to get back to my retailer to resolve it. I asked how come there was no delivery card for the order but she couldn't explain the reason. This is pure stealing and extremely unacceptable most especially in society we are today and people working hard to earn their survival not some dodgy delivery company staffs taking advantage of stealing. Also went through the same mess with them while ordering from H&M. Please I will advise you not to send any valuable things with this stupid Hermes company and taking it further.

In chat box, I asked for help sending a parcel with tracking . I was told to pay for the parcel and then apply for rebooking. RIDICULOUS AND STUPID WAY OF DOING IT. MAKE IT SIMPLE.

I've had a delivery scheduled with Hermes through a high street retailer. It was mean to be delivered on the 14th. I worked from home so that I could be there to sign for it. In the morning i was told it would be delivered between 12 and 16. This was then changed to by18. Then the status changed to delivery attempted - despite the fact I was home all day and no one rang my bell. This then happened again on the 15th and the status changed to "posted through the letterbox". There is nothing in the letterbox. On the 16th (a saturday) i get an email saying delivery will be attempted between 11 and 15. If it was indeed posted through my letterbox on the 15th, why do they need to deliver it again? So clearly Hermes drivers lie. Then they changed the delivery slot to between 13 and 17. At this point I have wasted an entire saturday in addition to the 2 previous days waiting for this delivery and I get an email saying "left securely in porch". This is another lie - as I live on a busy high street in south London, and there is no porch! Further, Hermes don't provide any options for you the end customer to get in touch with them. All contact has to be routed through the retailer, and even they have no way to speak directly to the courier. I have had Hermes deliveries in the past without any major issues, but this experience has been absolutely ridiculous and shambolic. I don't know what kind of training and quality control procedures if any are in place when Hermes recruits their drivers. But i would have expected "not lying to customers" would be one of the main lessons. Apparently not!. Worst delivery service ever! I have heard that Hermes dont pay their drivers much and offload most risk onto the couriers. This is the service quality you get for that. I sure wish retailers would just use royal mail. Atleast when things go wrong with their deliveries you can get in touch with them.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE company and service! I wanted to send my daughter a parcel in Canada with some of her favourite items - twice I was asked to list what I was sending and at no point was I told that I could not send a particular item until I had paid for delivery and delivered it to the store in which it was being picked up from!! Only when the parcel was picked up was I emailed and told I could not send the item and in order to retrieve the parcel I now had to pay £9 delivery!!! I have emailed them back 3 times and no reply!! This company does not deserve to be in business - don't use them!!!!!

All went wrong. Very bad experience. Horrible customer service. First email was saying my parcel would have arrived a day (Thursday) but it did not. I received another email asking to allow 24 hours, and then another one saying it would be delivered on Friday. I spent another day at home waiting for my parcel to be delivered and surprise!!!! At 5:30pm I received an email saying my parcel had been delivered!! Great! They do not know where and they cannot contact their drivers. I have paid for something which was delivered to somebody else and we cannot know to whom. They asked me to contact TK Maxx! So unprofessional! I still do not have an answer after spending two hours on the phone. In case you are wondering why my parcel was not delivered when they told me first: the van broke down, how does it sound?? Hahahaha!!

My Hermes left a card to say no one in for parcel delivery yet left no contact no to rearrange for suitable time. Spoke to staff on webchat who said they cannot hold parcel for long and couldn't even manage to get message through to courier. Big thumbs down! Deserve to go out of business

I wanted to delivery a glass tank. I packed said tank in a box, with layers and layers of bubble wrap and packaging paper. Labelled FRAGILE in large red capitals and an up arrow on each side of box. Everything seemed fine until I recieved an email saying that the package was delayed. Then the delivery date gets pushed back again, and again and again and again, until it is two weeks past the original delivery date. Next thing I know, they send me an email to say that they have broken the tank and that they are disposing of it. They offered a mere apology but there was no mention of a refund or even a partial refund. I have issued a complaint, however I have low expectations as they have made it purposely difficult to get into contact with any real person working there.

Claimed to have delivered my parcel from USC but i have not received it! Its been 7 days now and i paid extra for next day delivery. Not the first time i've had to negatively review my Hermes. Last time their delivery driver was impatient could not wait literally 30 seconds for me to open the door and decided to throw my parcel through the top of my porch window. Had ir been a fragile product that would of broke. Would not recommend my Hermes and personally will never use them again. Will rather pay extra and go elsewhere.

Information on website not geared towards disabled users and when item was broken by courier despite very good packaging and clear labelling on the box, with insurance having been paid for, they refused to pay out saying it was an excluded item. If it had been clear to me that it was excluded I would never have used them in the first place. Why allow people to pay for insurance with item declared when they know they won't pay out?

"Hermes still under investigation by HMRC. They cant even deliver a lie without getting it wrong...4 days sitting on web chat, circular rhetoric, copy/paste replies, delivered a parcel to 'my porch' on the Western Isles, from Perth on the other side of Scotland in 15 minutes...Odd that they hand over to our local couriers & don't actually deliver to our island yet marked it down as delivered BY THEM. Got hung up on mentioning this since it didn't fit into the lie I was extensively told 2 minutes before...Told that they can't track their own barcodes...give me a break! Amazon investigating & refunding me. Rename your company to Herpes. Diseases need getting rid of."
