Every time a company chooses to deliver my goods via myHermes I experience issues. Every single time! One, two or even three-day delays, you can never see where you driver is (compare that to DPD's precise system - and no, I am not a DPD-employee or anything like that!)

Terrible service! I only ever have problems with receiving parcels with this company! The delivery drivers sometimes don't even attempt to deliver (to the point where I actually thought the door bell was broken but it wasn't!). Another time they delivered it to another address, perhaps a neighbour, but couldn't tell me which address. This time they refused to deliver it because it was too big (an iron is not too big!) and so returned the item to the company without even leaving a card or trying to redeliver! When contacting the driver they are very unprofessional and unhelpful - couldn't even tell me the order number or shop the parcel was from that they were trying to deliver!! Two parcels the last few months have completely failed to arrive!!

I'm really upset to have to write this because I've always been happy to use myHermes to send parcels. I am a regular eBayer so sending items I sell is a regular thing for me. I sent my parcel to an eBay buyer 8 days ago, after 6 days I contacted them on their online chat to find out where my parcel was as the tracking hadn't updated in 3 days since it said there was a delay. I was advised that the parcel had been lost and they needed to do a sweep of the depot. The following day I received an email saying that they attempted delivery on the 5th day (which they didn't as the buyer is extremely eager for the item, and they had previously told me it was lost). I have now contacted them again to be provided with an update as every 4 hours the tracking is updated with "Claim Issues Code" which means nothing to me, they told me to ignore it and to allow 48 hours and if it then wasn't delivered to the recipient then they would issue me with a lost claim form. Absolutely no responsibility taken, they have not gone out of their way at all to help me, they can't even tell me if the parcel has been sent! This item is extremely expensive and I will more than likely be out of pocket due to this. When I advised them of this and that this experience has made me hesitant to use them in the future, all they said was "I understand". Please be apprehensive about using myHermes! I really regret trusting them with an expensive item.

1st parcel - email sent saying tried to deliver, no email to say was going to deliver ! No card left. Luckily happened to be in the next day. Very kind chap who delivered though . So all credit to him. 2nd parcel - email to say parcel will be delivered next day. No parcel ! Spent almost 1 hr on live chat to find out when I might expect it, now advised it will be 2-5 days from now !.Parcel is coming from UK. I will be checking from now on which delivery company is used when I order and will not order if they use Hermes. A poor service all round, especially as the postage is not cheap. Royal Mail for me :-)

1st parcel got email saying tried to deliver, no card to say they had been. Email then said will deliver next day - no time slots given so have to wait in all day but did arrive this time. 2nd parcel got email saying delivering next day- waited in all day and nothing ! Very poor service Hermes. This day and age every delivery service should be able to give a time slot to customers. I when ordering will be asking who the delivery company is and if it is Hermes will not buy from that company. You need to address this as you have a lot of poor feedback and people do take note of these feedbacks.

Don't bother - spend the extra and go with Royal Mail or a reputable courier that will actually deliver your parcel. After 5 days of no update on the tracker the package (an old iPhone) was mysteriously 'lost'. How it is possible to lose a tracked package I will never know. It has taken me over a week so far just to speak to their customer service who are practically impossible to reach on the phone and, while somewhat helpful on webchat, have yet to resolve my insurance claim. Thank goodness I insured the package, else I would be £80 out of pocket. Although having said that I am currently out of pocket until they resolve my claim.

1 star is way too high a rating for this truly appalling courier "service". Three times in the last 6 months I have had the misfortune to have Hermes used by the vendor of various different products I've ordered. Every time was an unmitigated disaster. My parcel was claimed to have been 'delivered' when patently it had not. No way of contacting anyone at Hermes to query/discuss/complain. Total absence of customer service. On all 3 occasions my parcel was delivered to some random address some distance from my home, and I had to rely on the kindness of the recipients to bother to bring it themselves to my address! STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS DREADFUL COMPANY!

My car is stuck at local garage waiting for parcel containing parts. It took Hermes a week to collect parts from AUDI and now, still not delivered? Scammers run this company, they advertise a service they can't provide. Customer services is terrible, (They don't care), Tired of chasing them and seriously considering taking them to court. SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY, YOU WILL REGRET IT, WISH I HAD READ ALL THE BAD REVIEWS BOFORE USING THIS COMPANY.

When parcels are lost. Surely that means stolen? As they cannot just dissapear into thin air. And should turn up again sooner or later. How does Hermes deal with your stolen parcels? Well they just say lost in their network. Somewhere in their network are a lot of parcels. Think they would of been noticed by now. As this is not the case then surely the only other explanation is that they have been stolen!!

I purchased a Woolovers polo shirt and paid (£3.50) for delivery to my local parcel shop. I had a text message yesterday to say it had reached there and was ready for collection. About 5 hours later I went to the shop and they had no record of receiving it from Hermes, and said this was a common occurrence with Hermes deliveries. After a call to Woolovers yesterday I had a second text message today to say it had now been delivered to the parcel shop. I went again and it was there. However, the shop would not give it to me as their system said it was linked to another delivery to me which they didn't have, and could not release my parcel. I have no other orders and assume the hopeless Hermes system has double-counted my single order. But they still will not give me my parcel.

I was expecting my parcel to get delivered. Driver couldn't be bothered to get out of his car and read the note on the mail room door which said "after working hours all deliveries should be left at the main reception"... Instead after 2 failed deliveries because according to the the business was closed (security works 24/7! the building is open!!) i was told that my parcel will be delivered between 12pm and 4pm.... Surprise surprise... after second online chat i got told that my parcel will be delivered by 8pm!!!! Which part of I'll be in Norfolk by that time going with empty hands because you couldn't do your fucking job and deliver on time they didn't understand!!!! Absolutely useless!!!! Highly incompetent!! Put extra pressure on me because now i have to run around like a headless chicken looking for another present and spend more money!!! This is a joke!!!

Yesterday I waited for a parcel the whole day at home because in the morning i received a mail of confirmation that I would be delivered. At 19:16 I received an sms saying that the parcel would be delivered between 17 :00 - 21:00. And at 19:17 the status of the parcel changed to 'attempted delivery' which is not true. I tried to call you and look for solutions at your website but there are none. Is it possible to talk with a human? I also contacted you over Twitter, still no response. Now the status of the paecel says that it won't be delivered until the 24th, and I needed this for a birthday today. So what I'm supposed to do? Quit my job and wait for when your delivery guy fancies to bring the parcel?

Would have given 0 stars if that was an option. Third time I've had something attempted to be delivered by them, never leave a card, never ask my neighbour to sign, just attempt day after day at a different time (allegedly). Third item that is now on it's way back to the supplier. Very very poor courier service although I understand the the company just leases these jobs out so that probably explains things. Hopefully suppliers using them will start to switch otherwise their ratings may also drop as they are trying to save money on cheap delivery.

Hi to all of you that are disgusted by the horrendous service that is hermes. To make it understandable, I am writing this at around ten past 1 in the morning on the rescheduled day of delivery. However this is not my 1st bad experience from them.the first two times were when I brought off of Amazon and was expecting it to be delivered on on ONE specific date..... one and a half weeks later, I FINALLY received it.... but no apology from the bloke who did not seem to even want to be at work. Second time, it was basically the same situation. However, I actually managed to track down a phone number, even though that made no difference whatsoever. If memory serves me right, it was on the Amazon next day delivery guaranteed thing. Hermes really dondo NOT know what that means, as their next day means nearly three weeks later! Before you get bored of me droning on, my recent online shop, comes from ebay. Ordered and all of that stuff, and was shown complete proof from the seller that it had been sent on its way. Now I used the tracking number provided to see where it had been/ where it was traveling to. And what do i see? The rubbish service had not even entered it until literally a few days ago. The order was meant to have been delivered on the 16th August. Used the web chat to find out wtf was going on and was told to expect the parcel first thing on the 17th. So I made sure to be ready for the early morning arrival. It got to 10:30am and still nothing. I call early morning anywhere from 7am to half 9am. So I gave it another 20 minutes and realized I had to nip out for something. I have a heart problem, So I am unable to move very quickly as it caused health problems. Then at 11.50, I received a phone call, the courier, calling to say he had arrived and no one was in! I'm thinking "what sort of time do you call this?!". Explained that I had to nip out, but asked if he would be able to bring it back in the afternoon, "No chance, my shift finishes at half 12". Did you really just talk to a customer like that? Well that's really nice (!) He goes "Ya gonna be in tomorrow morning?". So, on the spot, I rescheduled my whole Friday in my head and say yes. So this is what I am doing right now, writing this on the new delivery date. And I'm NOT going to be happy if he/she isn't here between 9am and 10am as I live chatted the web people and mentioned that it needs to be delivered a.s.a.p. I'm sorry if I've said too much, I just needed to get it all off my chest, and let others know that I'm in the same boat as them. Hermes is terrible with customers.
