Hermes, messenger of the gods, delivered the commands of Zeus to his fellow Olympians. Unlike Hermes, the courier company who delivered bugger all, to anyone, ever. And to make matters worse, before delivering the bugger all, they emailed me to tell me that they would arrive between 12pm and 2pm. Sadly it transpired they meant between 12pm and 2pm on Friday the 13th of January in the year 2273. Dudes. I just wanted my sunglasses.

you cannot speak to a human as the options are to use live chat (which is automated) and the phone cuts you off. So ridiculous. There has been a delay on my parcel for over 2 weeks and I cannot speak to anyone about it. Sort the customer service out.

Already wasted an entire day watching and waiting for my delivery. I was told (by text message at 10.30am) it would be here between 1-3pm. Before the text arrived I told my 3 and 4 year olds that we were going out. At 2.22pm, the tracking was updated to say there was a delay, however I wasn't notified and didn't discover this until 3pm. I tried to contact Hermes for information, I couldn't find anyway to do so and in filling in a form about it I was told I had to call the retailer. Even though you have my package not them! I did indeed contact the retailer, to be told you had attempted to make the delivery and will try again tomorrow. No, you didn't you LIERS! So I had 2 very restless children, my tremor increased due to the stress and I have to go through all this **** again tomorrow. If I could give 0 stars I would. The company is a joke. Worse delivery service bar none.

Absolutely shocking. My parcel was with Hermes for 6 days before delivery was first attempted. I was not at home. A card with a name and mobile number was left in my letterbox. I called and messaged that number and got no reply. No further delivery attempt was made. Then according to tracking the parcel had been returned to a depot in the next town. By that time I had complained to the sender and requested a redelivery or refund. On the same day the tracking suddenly changed to an entry that my parcel had been delivered to and signed for by "a neighbour". No information about this and importantly to which neighbour was left for me. None of my 5 direct neighbours accepted or signed for a parcel for me. Still no reply or anything from that ridiculous company. Also still no replacement or refund. I will never again by anything if it gets dispatched using that useless disgusting courier!!

I placed a package collection order 0875377246807387 on Wednesday August 14th for next day pick up. On Wednesday August 15th, I spent all day at home as collection was anywhere between 8am to 8 pm, exactly when most people have to work to earn their living. Nobody even showed up - no courtesy notification of any kind to explain or apologise. Next day on Friday August 16th in the afternoon finally a driver showed up just to tell me he cannot pick up my parcel, as there is no space in his van!! So not sure why he even showed up then! I complained that the collection was already late and requested another van to be sent that same day on Friday, since the day was already wasted for me. He said it may be next day - Saturday. So today is Sunday afternoon, there is no sign of any collection, no courtesy notification, apology or an explanation. Moreover, Hermes only communicates with existing customers through emails and online tools which are then treated with radio silence, their response time is 5 business days, apparently. No call service to get assistance immediately. Ridiculous. In this time I could have driven a car to the delivery destination and back several times!!!

Dreadful service. Was told that they had tried to deliver - complete lie - we were in all day and no card was left. Still waiting. No-one answers phones. Customer Service non-existence. Waiting for two parcels. In future I shall not buy anything delivered by them. Appalled. I'd like to leave no stars

Avoid this delivery company at all costs! I can't wrap my head around the fact that this company is still allowed to operate. Courier tried to deliver at 13:36 without any notice and only at 14:39 I received an email saying my time slot is 13-17! Next day, stayed at home the whole day and nothing... Towards the end of the evening, I started online chat with a bot, who said 'that courier tried to deliver the parcel but there was a problem'. We were at home the whole day! Impossible to contact the courier or get it delivered to their delivery point. Absolutely disappointed and disguisted by this company!

Worst disservice ever! Worst disservice ever! This is what happened: I made an order for a value of 300 pounds. After a couple of days they started seding me a delivery schedule, which they never followed (I can say it because I was home). Each-single-day they would say that they were delivering, and it goes without saying that they never delivered anything! But wait, because here is the best part: after I contacted the customer service to understand where my parcel was, they told me that the courier had no access to my place (remember that I was home, at least during the hours they said the parcel was going to be delivered, and the doorbell works perfectly) and that they would get back in touch with me in 24-48 hours to get this sorted. But they did not. I got back in contact with them and guess what, the parcel had been returned, without them giving me ANY NOTIFICATION AT ALL. On top of this the parcel on the tracking still appeared as ON ITS WAY. It had to be me to contact the seller to get the refound. Based on my experience, a completely unreliable company!

Appalled by the flippant attitude of the courier. My parcel arrived to the correct address and on time, which are all positives. Unfortunately the packaging was damaged and goods were damaged as well. The contents leaked and ruined the other items in the box. The courier was a disaster waiting to happen. Her opinion was that it was all my fault, the damage must have been in transit, nothing she can do, bla bla bla bla. Phoned Hermes C.S. only to be told it was down to the retailer to make a claim. I was told to contact the retailer to complain. I thought Am##on were bad, but Hermes are diabolical!!

Joke of a company! Avoid at all costs! False tracking info provided, can’t seem to contact them directly to complain. Paid for next day delivery, 4 days on still no parcel. I had better things to do with my time off then wait around for this joke of a company!

have never once had a parcel delivered when they say it’s going to be delivered.. they give no more than a slot between 8am and 8pm And after waiting in all day it’s not until 6pm do they tell you it’s not coming and the only information they give is it will be back out for delivery in 24hours.??? In fact they don’t let you know, you have to go to the web site to track it your self ? I paid for next day delivery 4 days ago now ?? This happens every time I order and have requested a refund from the company I have purchased from !

Work full time missed the delivery put alternative neighbours house no but courier still put a card through as no access now they say they are sending my parcel back to sender cannot contact anyone recorded messages useless saying use chat service but no link no phone no email useless as not recognising tracking no ! Need the items urgently the sender has not received the parcel back this is needed by next wed. I want the parcel to at least be dropped next door if not at a parcel shop but no one to ask as absolute rubbish customer service I will put these comments on Facebook

Terrible. I sent a return to Amazon via Hermes. They claim that the parcel will take up to 28 days to deliver. This is apparently because of some vague reason like Amazon only accepts deliveries on certain days and because Amazon apparently gave me incorrect instructions. However, I'm the customer. I paid £20 to Hermes for them to deliver my parcel within the agreed upon time frame. Not when it suits Amazon. Hermes told me that this happens often - if so, why not do something about it? Why not setup a process by which incorrectly sent parcels like mine can be routed to the correct place? Is that impossible? But neither Hermes nor Amazon refuse to accept any responsibility. I must now wait a month to get a refund for a TV that I purchased. Then Hermes makes it as difficult as possible for you to actually speak to an agent and get help. They hide the option behind other options. Took me a while to find it. I won't use them again, if I can help it. Probably means I won't buy a TV through Amazon again either, in case I need to return it.

ANOTHER LOST OR STOLEN PARCEL. 10 DAYS AND IT HAS DISAPPEARED OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH. NO ONE REPLIES TO EMAILS AND YOU CAN NOT TALK TO ANYONE. UTTER DISGRACE

They are a diabolical company, and I'm staggered high street retailers such as Next use them. They've lost three parcels in two months for me. In each case the driver has just delivered it to a random address and got it signed for. They have no customer service. In one case I came home to find a parcel on my doorstep for a random person, and I had to walk half a mile myself to deliver it to the addressee. Do not give them your business!
