If I could I would leave 0 stars. I have had a few problems with Hermes before but this last one is ridiculous. Basically I placed an order online, which the seller decided to ship to me via Hermes. Unfortunately, the seller has made a mistake with in the last part of the postcode. However, everything else is correct, so if one cared to check the first line of address, they would be able to find the correct postcode in a second. What Hermes did is they tried to deliver the parcel and they couldn't, therefore, they sent me an email saying 'We need you to take action' and then it says (I cite): '17:17 - Wed 14 Aug We're not able to deliver your parcel to the address we have. Please get in touch so we can get it back on its way to you. Contact details can be found in the FAQs section below'. So I did, I used their live chat service to inform them I know my address is incorrect and I know precisely what the mistake is, writing both my correct address and postcode and what postcode they have. The assistant replied to me that that's precisely the address they have, however, they wouldn't be able to do anything here as they can't change addresses and I would need to get back to the seller. What an utter waste of time, Hermes, I don't understand why you even have customer service when you can't make any changes to anything, assuming a mistake can't happen and wasting customers' time by sending false messages letting them believe you care. I'm very very unhappy!

Delivery two days before notification. We were not in. Small heavy parcel thrown through (part open) porch window narrowly missing expensive ornaments and chipping floor tile. We live in a terrace and both neighbours were home to take parcel. Blank delivery note pushed through letterbox!!! Careless, lazy or what.

This is not good service ,,, i should recieve my parcel in 24 hours and untill now almost week and i didnt get anything andin friday 9th august 19 i check tracking number i saw they put i will recieve it tomorrow but i didnt det anything and when contact custoner service and i told them this parcel is my meds i need it urgent it was in sayurday 10th august and they told me in 24 hours i will get it but after 24 hours i discover that this hermes didnt work sunday and i contact then monday 12th august 19 and they said to give them 48 hour they will check my parcel and will get back to me by e-mail and now is wednesday 14th august and i didnt get anything and didnt update anything about my parcel in tracking page ,,, and yesterday i travel for 3 hours untill Birmingham to buy again my meds and come back again in 3 hours,,, i will never use this hermes again or buy from any place who use this service ,,, now i dont know where is my parcel or when i will get ir

Absolute shambles, They (Hermes) have had my parcel since the 28th July and have still not delivered it. Their tracking option reports there is a further 24hr delay. If this was the last parcel delivery service available I would still recommend that you hand deliver it rather than use this company. I have only given one star as I couldn't record anything lower.

Shocking delivery service. Paid an excess for next day delivery on Friday. Was told order would arrive between 3-5pm on Saturday however after waiting in all evening it did not arrive. No attempt to deliver on Sunday and was then told it would then be delivered between 6-8pm on Monday yet it once again has not arrived. Also impossible to contact the company as they have no contact methods online and fail to reply on twitter.

Out dated delivery services. Modernise for god sake! Missed a parcel from a certain ebay seller. I got a delivery card, used it to request a redelivery for a known day my wife would be in. Nope! They dont offer selected dates like all the other couriers... So tried my neighbours over road. Nope! The postcode on other side of road is different so the automated webpage doesn't allow their house numbers.. So i got in touch web chat and asked for a local drop shop.. Nope! They dont offer local shop drops, only for collecting from. Asked for a business address redirect like DX deliveries allow.. Nope! Recipients address is the only place.. Asked for depot location, ill pick up... Nope! They don't offer for H&S reasons... (Cop out excuse and they know it). Nope! They dont offer locker service. So after all of that i asked for a later time and "apparently" they put a request through... Yeah we all know what we're thinking here too... Well remains to be seen. So all in all, want a great delivery/ re-delivery service. Then NEVER use Herpees if your a normal working class person. You'll never get your parcel with this (quite frankly) outdated, excuse of a delivery company. They offer no help to actually get your parcel delivered.

been waiting for a package since Wednesday from eBay if I had of known it was my Hermes I would have looked to buy from someone else, this company is the worst the tracking said there was a problem every day for 3 days then I had an email saying they had tried to deliver 3 times and was now sending it back to sender I contacted my Hermes through the webchat and they promised me it would be delivered today I just received an email to say that it has been delivered and signed for at the address by a woman called Carole, not my name nor my signature so now I have to contact them again to find out were the thick driver has delivered it to. I warn you DO NOT use this company they are the worst.

Absolutely awful!! No customer service whatsoever and the drivers can’t even be bothered to attempt the delivery.. just easier to say that I wasn’t home.. for 3 days.. even that I had set a safety place....horrible.. never again!!

Very poor service. Faking customers signatures and not delivering items when they say they have. Customer service are not contactable, automated service. Down to the person who sent the item to caught up. Would never use them. Items in the past have been dumped outside our house in full view of potential passers buy to snatch. So untrustworthy.

your company, gave me four different reasons why my parcel was not delivered ,1st it was left at the depot,2nd it was on the wrong van,3rd there was a security issue,4th it was back at the depot. Then you told me it would be returned to me, which never happened ,then it was still at your sorting hub, then after two weeks Iwas told it would be returned to me as it was found ,then it was lost again,your company advised me to make a claim ,which I did and they lost that as well, I made four claims for the same parcel as you kept either deleting my documents or they were being lost, I paid for £60 worth of cover I was given no refund on the original cost of the parcel and my claim has been ignored I have been lied to by your chat room members just look at the history ,your company are a disgrace.

In my area, local people who are hired as courriers - they smoke like dragons and my parcels stink bad all the time. Plus those people open the parcels often have a rummage through the content. they don't even bother tape it up properly back. I complained few times, Hermes said they instructed their people "not to smoke in their cars".....this is a joke joke

I instructed the wrong building, and they always attempt 3 times before you are able to deliver to shop, instead of listening to the customer, wasting 3 times of delivers, this is the 3rd time it happens. Horrible customer service, disconnecting after less than a minute of active chat, they are not sure about the status of the parcel. The system gives no chance to make corrections of your mistakes and gives false information. The phone number doesn't let you call them, you are just given a robot. They are a waste of time for the driver, client and waste of energy for the environment. They need to update their system and business to adapt to the "fast pacing kind" 2019, otherwise I fear they might be out of business soon. Examples of comapnies that do it right: Monzo, Octopus Energy

Never again!! What a joke this company is!!! I booked a collection on Saturday my day off work!!! I was waiting whole day at home for a courier never turn up!! Costumer service not existing it’s a nightmare to contact with them!!! Never again I don’t want to deal with my refund too!! To much stress!!! Never again!!!!

Wife forgot to reweigh package once padding and tape added and the admin fee was more than the postage? £3 for an email. I wouldn't mind but they don't pay the insurance out for missing parcels either

Shocking service,customer service rubbish Set of ladders collected from Derby 10/7/2019 still waiting in Coventry 7/8/2019. Hermes reply: "We must have lost them even though they were scanned into the warehouse" Never again with these clowns totally unreliable......steer clear

Twice I have received a delivery which was not addressed to me. I have brought the matter to myhermes’ attention who have told me that as far as they are concerned it has been delivered. As proof they have sent me a photo of my porch! They have suggested I take the matter up with the sender and have said that they will not come back for the misdelivered parcel. Completely incompetent with a dreadful customer service.

I ordered a parcel and paid for next day delivery which now knowing it was delivered by Myhermes i would never have done as they are the most useless company i have ever dealt with. Nothing i have ever ordered from has been delivered on time, anything they were meant to pick up has also never been picked up on time. As for the most recent order the driver claims to have been unable to attempt delivery despite me being in all day purposefully waiting for it. There was no attempt to deliver my package and nothing left to say delivery will be reattempted or what will happen. Its no wonder this company gets such bad reviews as you cant even call to get in touch and find out what has happened as it is all automated. This company should be shut down and if i could give 0 stars i would
