Absolutely appalling. I had an email to say that my parcel had been delivered and signed for by myself when I was at work. The driver had signed for my parcel and left it outside the front of my house for anyone to help themselves to. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Didn't deliver my goods. No contact note through the door. No correspondence. The only contact number on their website was extortionate. Avoid Hermes. They offer very poor service.

I have been using myHermes for a while. One of the first parcels I sent was a bit of a disaster, with the recipient saying he had not received it, but someone had signed for it according to their website. He then gave me a lot of grief over it, and I had to chase it up, emailing their Chief Executive, whereupon the parcel miraculously appeared, but was soaking wet at the bottom where it had been sitting in their warehouse over the weekend. Just been on their website to send another parcel and discovered that they had one unpaid parcel listed on my account, BUT the parcel HAD BEEN PAID FOR AND THE MONEY TAKEN FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT. Totally inexcusable, inefficient, and distressing, causing me to check out Bank statements to prove that it was paid at the time. Put in a complaint and awaiting the outcome. Shame because I used them quite a bit in the past, and was a regular customer.

Apparently a parcel had been delivered which it hadn't, other option to contact online, but like there service it's a joke, I put in the parcel number, but it was from a retailer (clever people) so I had to contact them, no I didn't, cause there not the ones making false claims about a parcel been delivered, I can understand why they don't have contact details, because with the abysmal service they provide 24/7 and false claims there phones would be red hot 24/7, as I'm writing the review the parcel that was delivered at 11.29 finally turned up at 2.25 so doesn't that give you some idea how dysfunctional this company is, so I've wasted 2 and half hours trying to get in touch with theese pillocks, maybe it's a good job that I didn't, maybe you should upgrade your management skills and false mail sending

The item i sent was a week late being delivered, when it arrived i was informed by the recipitents that the item had been smashed to pieces in transit and they would be charging me £68 to repair it. I put in a claim to Hermes and they have literally just ignored me for over 1 month now. I cannot get through on the phone and their online chat services disconnects before the agent can even type anything to you. I am so, so angry, they fob you off and are not even worth 1 star. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE

Hermes is probably the worst courier service available in the UK – why any reputable company would choose to use them is beyond me. I received an email from Amazon entitled “Delivery attempted” in the middle of the night informing me: “Sorry we missed you. Unfortunately, HERMES wasn’t able to deliver your package today because the driver didn't want to leave it unattended.” This is a lie – I specifically stayed in all day to make sure I would receive the parcel. There was no sign of a courier van all day. Tracking details from the Hermes website: 09:59 Your parcel is on its way to you today 10:58 Your friendly local courier will try to deliver between 10:00 and 14:00 today 12:58 Your friendly local courier will try to deliver between 12:00 and 16:00 today 16:46 There's been a slight delay with your delivery, we'll get your parcel to you as soon as possible. 09:25 Your parcel is on its way to you today So, my parcel was driven around in a van all day, and returned to the Hermes depot in the evening undelivered. The Hermes tracking website on a mobile is flooded with deceptive adverts that are designed to look like clickable links for more information, but are just money earning links for Hermes. Hermes deserves zero stars...

Every time i get a package delivered by hermes( most of the time when i order my gym gear they automatically use hermes) i get a time slot and that time slot gets changed then gets changed again and then just says sorry there is a slight delay which is more then 4 hours now!!!!!! The worst delivery company i have ever seen, i haven't had a good experience with them at all. Why is is so hard to deliver a package?i just can't seem to understand.

Unlike most of the reviews I've read, Hermes had actually delivered my parcel. However, they then emailed saying they hadn't and were not going to deliver until I paid a further because £10.80. Bemused I emailed and asked for an explanation they said my parcel exceeded the max volume for a parcel and gave the measurements as being L102cm W84cm and H8cm the actual measurements were L97cm W97cm and H7cm, the length and height were the same. Despite them not being able to measure when I put my figures into their formulae it still exceeded their max volume of 245cm. So if that being case why hadn't been informed of this at the time of the quote is something wrong with their website calculator? Seem like a dodgy crew to me I would advise people to stay well clear of them. Dishonest with abysmal customer service they apologised for delivering the parcel, I bet they do because I won't be paying the invoice or using them again.

Waited in 5 days for a package, never arrived. I've been constantly phoning/emailing ('live messenger' doesn't work) and customer services assure me they're looking into it and will contact me - which they don't. I've been cut off mid conversation with them. Very frustrating. The couriers have told the company the parcel was delivered (after 8.00pm, with no signature or receipt). After 5 days trying to get some explanation from them re the 'lost' package, I'm at wits end.

Appalling service 2.8.19. Appalling service. Often very late and sometimes not next day as specified with the company ordered from. On a number of occasions packing has been damaged and on two occasions goods inside packaging have been spoiled - flowers and chocolates. Still waiting for a delivery that should have arrived today. Avoid them. Have apparently returned my parcel to the sender, but they don’t know why? They never tried to deliver it. Customer service is a joke, they clearly don’t want to talk to their customers and put blame on sender. Will never use again, just awful. Never reply to email and “live chat” is not Live. Hopefully they will go it of business, the world doesn’t need this level of pathetic service.

Not once have I had a bad experience, but almost EVERY TIME.... Marked "fragile!" and left ballancing on gate (2" wide), left on step before outwardly opening door - clearly marked, so smashed it was unrecognisable are a few of the achievements. Even a metal toolkit arrived broken, although it was marked fragile; which made me laugh - until I unwrapped it. ALWAYS 1-2 days later than predicted too. The photos are just the latest breakages - appart from the totally lost. I would rate no stars if that was an option.

Appalling company and shouldn't be allowed to run a courier service in the UK, let alone be the choice courier or retailers. Of 6 MyHermes parcels I ordered within the past 3 months, only 3 arrived and one of those 3, one was delivered to the wrong address but luckily turned out to be a friendly neighbour. Worse still, of those 3 that made it to my hands, only one was not damaged and none arrived on time, despite paying extra for next day delivery for 2 of the 3. They try to make it impossible to find customer service numbers or chats. They force you to talk to the retailer about your parcel, even though THEY have it in their clearly inefficient and shockingly poor delivery line. No wonder they have a 'If you're a journalist' contact option on their website - they deserve all the bad press they get.

Says parcel was supposed to be delivered between 2 and 4 today so stayed in waiting for it. Paid for next day delivery and it’s still not here and doubt it will be here today. Not happy.

Apparently my parcel was signed for by me even though I wasn’t in all day. No slip through the door, nothing. Now I’ve got to guess whether it’s with a neighbour, a random hiding spot or maybe it’s been stolen :)

Hi, been using them for a few years but will not any more!!! lost three of my parcels this week. One of the collection staff asked me if it was ok to throw my parcels to car because I had a few!! I don't think the staff are paid well but if they accept the job they should turn up to collect and not be rude. I could state many other issues but no point just don't use them unless you drop off at Hermes shop.
