They damaged my parcel (a drill) and when it eventually arrived back to me the cable was in 6 pieces! Can only guess it was their conveyor system at a hub. Over 2 months later they want to know more details, such as who the recipient was! What the flying f*ck has that got to do with it? Of course, by this time I can't get any details from eBay or Paypal, which I guess Hermes are aware of. Neve, ever again will I send via this ar*ehole of a useless company! Utter disgrace!

If no stars were available as a rating that is what I would give them, What an awful ****ing company they are, ordered a high end mattress from Amazon and had no idea that it would be dispatched using my Hermes, (would have shopped elsewhere with another courier) sat in all ****ing day waiting on them to appear, then I get a failed delivery attempt notification 19 mins after the delivery deadline, I was sat ten feet away from my front door, ground floor detached out facing out the window into the drive, I have CCTV, there was no sorry missed you card put through my door, - Hell there was not even a delivery attempt made, that I can prove - Just typical of this f*cking company. What gets me is that Amazon and other retailers know how bad this company is, but persist to use them and f*ck about with people's schedules, all for the sake of a tiny weenie bit more profit, My Hermes are the Ryanair of the courier world and should be avoided at all times, I have a 50% fail rate on any parcel that has been delivered by them, local facebook groups awash with similar complaints and no way of complaining directly to them, Making profit at the end users expense and misery, I appreciate there are more serious things in life and worse things that can happen but the company really does make your blood boil with rage.

Tracking shows parcel delivered to porch. I’ve been home ALL day, I have cctv and two dogs.... I THINK YOU MIGHT BE LYING

HORRIBLE! Two months ago I did send a couple of parcels, one of them never arrived and the other one was opened and I missed stuff. Worst of all, I've contacted them several times and I have only received an automatic emailn as response, no help HORRIBLE! Hace dos meses envié dos cajas, una nunca llegó y la otra llegó abierta y faltaban cosas. Lo peor de todo es he contactado varias veces y nadie me ha ayudado, solo recibo mensajes automáticos pero ninguna solución

Everything went wrong! My delivery is delayed and every day I’m asked to allow another 24h end over and over. Courier was “ attempting “ delivery but he couldn’t during lack of access. There’s no security no gate to get onto my house all you need to do is park your car outside on the street. Such a lie . Disappointed is not even close to how I feel. The worst thing is I don’t even know if I’ll get finally what I’ve ordered

Trying to contact this company is as helpful as trying to communicate under water with your arms and legs tied. I have been trying to get a hold of someone to speak to for the past 15 hours, I just get put directly to a robot and my call cut off. I think this is appalling. Please provide customers with some form of efficient way to communicate directly with your team.

Terrible service. Paid for parcel to arrive at set day, sat in, no parcel. Tracking useless, no contact except web chat that keeps telling you to just "wait another 24 hours". If you are not in after 3 attempts they send the item back, and will not leave in a safe place due to signed for, or allow pickup. How can you be in when Hermes don't even know where it is!!! My God, and I thought Royal Mail was bad.

Ordered goods from eBay, not delivered but signed for by driver.l phoned myhermes customer service and was told by Mahmood Syed driver was not in my area when supposedly delivering. Now after 3 weeks they admit not delivering but don’t accept responsibility for not delivering ,so no compensation. I paid £73 in total and have nothing.

What a bunch of cowboys, I never knowingly use this company due to numerous bad experiences in the past but my latest delivery with Amazon Prime I was not informed who the courier would be until the order had dispatched. My heart sank when I saw Hermes uk was the courier and again they have screwed up, I received a text from Hermes uk to say they were unable to deliver my package, even though I have not left my house all morning and no card was left to say they had attempted to deliver, basically no delivery had been attempted. Any attempts to contact Hermes uk were impossible, every avenue I tried an automated system diverted me back to their hopeless website, ‘live chat’ doesn’t work and no actual human can be contacted on any of their phone numbers. Also the tracking number supplied by Hermes uk was not recognised. Eventually I went back to Amazon who retailed my order, they have said they will attempt to contact Hermes uk for me but with still no delivery estimate. Absolutely hopeless courier, I have no idea why Amazon still use them. My advice, save your time and sanity, steer well clear of this outfit of clowns.

One star too many as far as I am concerned. Paid extra for collection. 10 days later parcel still not collected, no one knew why. Advised to cancel order and rebook although wasn’t informed that order automatically cancelled on their system after 7 days. I spent 4 days trying to get answers and information. Parcel now sent through DPD👍

Informed would be delivered within a 4 hour time slot. 6 hrs later told there was a delay and would be delivered between 4pm and 6pm. Not delivered, and no ring on doorbell (which was definitely working as I received parcels from 3 other companies that day. When checking front door at 11pm found delivery note but completely blank, no time, name, details filled at all. Note was not there at 10.30 so had only just been left. Next day, given another time slot by email. Again late, caught courier walking away from house without even trying to ring bell. On another two occasions parcels for my wife were delivered, both badly damaged, one including an obvious footprint on the packaging. Will always ask companies not to use Hermes, would rather pay more for an undamaged and on time delivery.

Terrible service,phone number is pretty pointless as you can't actually speak with somone,live chat again useless takes 24hoirs to get a reply so not actually live,there tracking system is just awfully and when you finally get the message to say it's delivered it's not even at the correct address

Very dodgy courier service. When it works, it's works, 9/10 they WILL let you down. As an eBay seller, I have used them a few times as they offer cheap rates compared to other couriers. Mostly without problems, but parcels do occasionally arrive slightly damaged (luckily contents intact) and often 2 or 3 days behind schedule. As a receiver, parcels are frequently late, and occasionally chucked over my wall or put in the hedge! I try to avoid them, maybe you should too!

I've been waiting for four days for two parcels to be delivered. I received an email telling my parcel would arrive between 11/1 it never showed up. Then they emailed to say they had to change the time to between 3/5 still never showed up. Received another email to say the parcel will be with me between 6/8pm. Yep never showed up. The next morning I received an email to say they tried to deliver the parcel and that I wasn't in which is a complete lie. This has happened for the last three days. Still no parcels. What a joke of a company. It's the lies that really anger me because nobody has tried to deliver anything to my home. I've never dealt with absolute useless company and I hope I never will again. Would I recommend them to anyone no Never!!!!! Complete shower of cowboys!!!!

I am in the middle of what I sincerely hope is my first & last dealings with Hermes. I arranged a return collection online for a parcel delivered to me from a high street retailer. The form 'timed out' just as visa verified my transaction. I have received no confirmation & no label to print off for a supposed collection tomorrow. Funnily enough the process did go through sufficiently for them to take the collection charges out of my bank account. I have sent three online e-mails via their online contact form and have had no reply or even acknowledgement. I suppose I will end up taking the parcel to the post office to be returned as without the appropriate printed off label I cannot give the parcel to the courier even if she turns up tomorrow. I have no intention of ringing the expensive contact number. The number that is included in my calling plan (0330) just takes you round & round an automated system - warning - it is not customer services as you do not get to speak to a person. I shall write to the company address to ask for the return of my payment - with interest of course.

Please Please Avoid People. My first time using them to send shoes worth £160. Package went missing and Hermes refused to take responsibility. Their only response is that I should have insured it. Although now I've learnt an expensive lesson, this does not put Hermes in the right. How can a business expect the customer to insure themselves against the business actually fulfilling their duty, which they have entered into a contractual agreement to do so. Imagine if we had to insure ourself against every service we ever paid for. If you value your item, dont send with Hermes. If you dont mind losing it, then go ahead. If you do, please insure it! Incompetent company, incompetent staff and should not be allowed to operate. A simple google search unveils an alarming number of similar horror stories from people using this company.

Your courier falsified my signature. Parcel was left on doorstep - I watched the courier’s van arrive, watched her come to the door and watched her leave. No effort was made to hand the parcel over to a member of the household.

2 day delivery! What a joke after 3 weeks and tracking the parcel every day the site just says "Delay try again in 24 hours!" Goods either take weeks to arrive or never arrive at all!

This company are a bunch of muppets.I have been waiting 2 weeks for a delivery now & still nothing.Tracking is total nonsense.If this is how they run a company then i think their future is grim to say the least.Do yourselves a favour & use Royal Mail they may cost a bit extra ,but at least you get your items.What a f*****g bunch of morons....
