I have sent over 100 parcels this year with MyHermes but have found their service is getting increasingly poor. I have now had 3 failed deliveries which have cost me a loss of money, complaints made against me and poor online reviews all because MyHermes failed to deliver furthermore they make it impossible to contact them to query a delivery. I chose MyHermes because they are better value for money (polite way of saying cheap) but that comes with the heavy cost of a poor quality of service, needless to say this last failed delivery was the final straw, I will no longer be using MyHermes, it is too much of a gamble.

Always have a really bad experience with hermes. First of all the incompetent drivers who cannot fill out properly the "missed your parcel" note. Supposedly tried to deliver on monday and not left a note. Then on the Tuesday they left the note without filling in their details or date. On Wednesday they tried to deliver again yet they haven't left a note again and on their website tracking; package got delivered the day before, not true. Now their website also not the best as the drop down menu for safe places should have a "other" option where you type in something like throw the package over the back garden gate. Or at least like Dpd has an option where you can get it delivered to a shop near you if you cant trust your neighbour's to take your parcel instead. Not to mention a simple option where you can pick up from the depo if it's easier for said person. Absolute nightmare of a courier company and everytime I order something I hope where ever I order it from doesnt use hermes because theres always a problem and packages get lost!!

I will deliberately avoid any company who use Hermes as their primary delivery service. I’ve had several issues with them, and most recently have lost my parcel. Their app advised me a week ago they would have my parcel on the move again in 24 hours. I am unable to speak to them as they tell you to contact the retailer with any issues. A fob off. Unimaginably useless.

Absolute rubbish company. Tracking shows delivered and signed for today from my address at 13:35. Instruction were left to place in front porch as no one would be home. Builders outside stated no delivery came as they working outside my house. Checked my three outside security cameras recordings and no delivery person showing anywhere near property. Unable to get a customer support person on phone. All automated messages sending you round in circles. Utter pathetic company. Finally managed to get an email address to send complaint to. Now have to wait for a reply. Avoid at all costs. This company has to be one of the worst companies employing fraudulent staff falsifying deliveries. Would give zero stars if available

Bunch of useless twats! My order was out for delivery with tracking stating with courier out for delivery etc. Iwaited all day till eve message came up showing problem with address.Liars...my address is shown clearly on my on line order. I was told the next day problem will be rectified after PRETTY LITTLE THING messaged hermes . Well still no delivery so I decided to place order at my brothers address with next day delivery.Around 2pm tracking had a message saying due to traffic accident slight delay but parcel is on it's way to you .Bluddy liars ..9pm gone... .no parcel.Hermes are either all dead and buried or in outer space as there's no sign of life from them despite me emailing them and them bring aware of my complaints through Pretty Little Thing.I still dint even know if I'll like my coat as I haven't recieved it

Rubbish service. I was forced to use them because the shop I ordered online picked this company. The driver never rang the bell and never called. I cannot find a way to reach the customer service at all

Hermes lied saying I'd told them to return my parcel to sender.. Blaming me so your lazy driver and you gets paid) You don't provide your tracking numbers, only senders, so your website won't let us contact you.. Sender also said there was an issue with address.. There is NO issue with the address.. It's on the Royal Mail Database and approved.. This is another con and excuse so you get paid.. Your whole organisation is corrupt from top to bottom.. Pay staff more and you don't get.....

I was to receive a parcel via a parcel shop. Hermes said that the shop wasn't accessible. Then they later changed their story to the parcel had been refused. The shop denied ever refusing a parcel. Hermes then said it was a mistake that the parcel had been returned to depot, but nevertheless they were going to return it to the sender. They did suggest that he could contact custoemer services for a refund, but refused to deliver it to the intended address. 3 emails from me ignored - not even an automated acknowledgment. Live chat - 1st attempt. No idea, try later. 2nd attempt, "I'll go and investigate" with the chat terminated without warning after I'd been left for 16 mins. Phone number: automated response with two choices: tracking and general queries. General queries give automated voice telling me to go away and the read the FAQ on their website. They simply can't be contacted to discuss anything, and their idea of customer service is to leave the customer to sort out their problems. I've used them in the past with no problems, but this experience clearly shows that when problems occur (and everyone makes mistakes) they won't lift a finger to sort out a mess of their own making. I'll never use them again.

My package which I had sold for £65 went missing and I was offered £20 compensation my appeal was rejected which astounded me.Will never use Hermes again

My experience of Hermes is they are great until they loose a package, then they are very difficult to deal with. They offer £20 free insurance, however any claim will require a great deal of effort, and their requests for information make a claim semi impossible. I feel that the claim process is made difficult to prevent claims, and the free insurance is simply to promote sales.

This is not a courier company who can be trusted . You are only as good as your weakest links & with customer service & some of their drivers being that weak link we don't stand a chance . My parcel was sent back from click& collect on drop off & signed off by the courier driver . Took one minute flat to achieve this . Tracking shows signed by customer & asked for return to sender .. ok thats clearly not by me as i actually ordered the parcel & wanted it . Words fail me . Parcel on its way back to scotland now . Was very overdue for delivery also . OMG Do not use this company especially alongside click & collect

Appalling Service. Advised that they would deliver my parcel on Thursday, now Monday and tracking advise tells me that they cannot deliver at all. I'm invited to communicate with them except they clearly don't want me to. Cannot email unless you enter tracking number and apparently the number I have is a 'retailer number' so I have to go back to them! Also, when ringing the number they advertise as customer service 0843 557 5171, I'm told at 12 noon that the offices are currently closed but open from 8.00am until 6pm Monday to Friday. Rubbish, Rubbish, Rubbish

Every experience i've ever had with Hermes has been shocking. The latest parcel I received through them. The driver didn't even bother to ring the bell just threw it on the porch and took a picture of the floor. HOW they still have a contract for my area I have no idea.

Supposedly delivered a parcel to my home and signed. for by me ??, It was not my signature. I was out no one else here or did my dog sign. for it. Impossible to contact a dreadful delivery company

Parcel 1 was fraudulently "signed" for then delivered 24 hours later. MyHermes claim this happens when a neighbour signs for it but given that I watched the driver put it through the post box the next day that's transparently a lie. Parcel 2 was delayed another 24 hours; driver just threw it over the (two metre high) fence into the garden. It looks like it's been stepped on.

Paid for extra insurance. The item was damaged in transit. Sent claim form and attached photos of damage. After 3 weeks despite contacting Hermes via phone, email and we chat no response. Promised a resolution and nothing, no communication from them. Their era insurance is a complete waste of money

My hermes refused to deliver our parcel. They said that the driver (sub contacted moron they pay pennies for deliveries) couldn't drive up the lane due to potholes. If they ahd actually true dthey would have scene the road had been resurfaced last week. 30 people here and know one can ever recieve a parcel from my hermes. Had 12 dpd parcels over the last week and no problem at all. 1 parcel with my hermes. Been waiting a week and it's still not here. They have no customer service so you can't get hold of them. Never reply to emails. Wouldn't use these again to send or receive.
