Absolutely shocking service Absolutely shocking service. They lost my high value parcel and I have been emailing them for 4 days now plus live chatting and no willingness from them to help whatsoever.Just making up stupid excuses. AVOID THIS COMPANY

Paid for 24 hour delivery on 2nd November. Now the 9th. There is no help on their site and they cannot track anything. Apparently I have to contact the seller who has to contact them then they will contact me. They haven't. I'll be looking for shops that deliver only by Royal Mail in future.

Terrible useless company. Said they would come between 2-4 on Monday. They never showed up. No explanation . Tuesday said again 2-4, day at home never showed, had an update at 3.50 saying they would arrive at between 4-6, again never showed up.No explanation Wednesday again said they would be there between 7-9pm again stayed home and pointlessly waited for no one to show up again. Thursday nothing. Friday delivered to our neighbors. Unbelievably useless company with no possible way to contact, thanks for having no desire to please your customers.

Every single time I use my Hermes, without fail there is always a delay in delivering my parcel. This company are absolutely awful at delivery parcels. Boohoo need to find another delivery company so that people might get their parcels on time instead of having numerous emails saying delivered between 2-4 then delivered before 5pm then back out for delivery within 24 hours. Hate that I have to use this parcel company!

Can't contact them or get information from them. I get a text saying that I received & signed for a package I was refunded for that went missing a month ago. Which I didn't accept package. Down right nightmare this courier.

Absolutely useless. Parcel not updated on tracking. Phone to see where it is, advised arriving in two days. Ordered Tuesday for next day. Now Friday. Totally unacceptable. Recorded message says to use live chat on website. Not live at all. Asks for email and address and then tells you the same as the recorded message. Adding it’s been delayed. Oh, that’s ok then. Contacted supplier who only seem to have same access to Hermes as customer. I will not order from anyone again who uses Hermes. Btw you should have a zero star rating for the most abysmal as in this case.

Hermes is the worst delivery company I have ever dealt with in my 32 years of consumer shopping in the UK. What does it serve to randomly sent out parcels without having first established that the recipient will be there to receive the goods? Then you don't actually have a viable way of contacting your company by telephone or give the customer a valid choice of options when rescheduling a delivery online. Ridiculous. Unprofessional. If Hermes is this bad now, what do you think Christmas will be like? Unimaginable. Let's all boycott this incompetent service and take back our consumer rights. Get to your local high street now. I am actively not shopping with retailers who use this courier.

Absolute garbage!!!!!!!!! tracked a parcel from USA stating that the parcel was with my herpes since 1/11/19. checked my herpes tracker and it states on 7/11/19 they are waiting for the parcel still. Absolutely poor service, website is less than useful and good luck if you want to speak to a human being. Im assuming my herpes have now lost my parcel and im going have to open a case to get my money back. Do yourself a favour and use royal mail, at least their tracker is useful and you can actually track a parcel. Would never use this service again!!!!!

It is a nightmare to have somethind delivered by them. They send me an email on the 11th that they're gonna deliver on the 10th. Nothing was delivered anyway and they said they had later attempts to do it but not a single post card, email, phone call to let me know they tried. Still one month gone and my item wasn't delivered.

Utter amateur operation, I now check with online retailers, if they use Hermes to deliver, I simply do not order.

Profoundly bad service. Multiple "failures to collect" on the tracker however the package has been ready at a 24/7 reception the whole time - no driver. Customer Service staff completely unwilling or powerless to help on the live chat and booking now cancelled without refund or resolution. New chats get me nowhere. MyHermes - Makes Delivery Impossible

I believe that Hermes refunds, insurance and compensation policy is a scam. I've sent hundreds of parcels successfully, only a handful have I had a problem with. But each time, no contact, no refund, always side with the courier. I would say if you're willing to risk losing out if its not delivered then go for it. Otherwise, I'd choose someone else. I dont believe these 3 options exist. They are cheap for a reason

Worst delivery company ever. Please do not use this company. Here is how they do. How is it their website says couiers work from 8am-8,pm. Yet I've been given a delivery slot from 7pm,-9pm. Not at all confident that my delivery will come. Wouldn't be the first time with HERMES. They are the worst ever couriers.

Incredibly tedious and inconvenient for the recipient - at least in London. Couriers are under pressure to maximise profit for the company and so allow a nanosecond for you to answer the door before marking a failed delivery attempt (one of them told me this when I complained to him). You only get three chances before the parcel is returned. Even worse, if no signature is required they will simply leave the parcel on the doorstep, even in a high crime area of London and regardless of the weather - I've twice had packages ruined by being left in the pouring rain. The information given in their Delivery Attempted slips is so rudimentary as to be virtually useless and the feeble tracking service, which only narrows delivery down to a window of hours, is only remotely useful for the first attempt. There is absolutely zero information as to what time of day they are going to make subsequent attempts - you basically have to arrange to be at home - listening intently for the brief time the courier will allow you to answer the door - from 7 AM to 7PM. Stripping costs to the bone mean very little opportunity for the recipient to make arrangements if there is a problem and you know you aren't going to be in - no phone support, no depot collection, no possibility to specify a delivery time etc if you can't have parcels left anywhere. Rushed to hospital and can't accept deliveries? Tough - Hermes will stick to their jobsworth three-strikes-and-you're-out and attempt deliveries that are guaranteed to fail. Hermes are a signal lesson in what happens when the profit motive replaces a public service ethos like that we used to have with Royal Mail.

According to Hermes my parcel has been delivered, they even showed a photo of a front door where it had been left, It was not my front door, according to my E Mail it was left in my porch (which I have'nt got) that is despite post code and GPS location on parcel. Phoned Head Office was told to ring back during office hrs, ( to 5 Monday to Friday, My call was at 2'45PM. Emailed but again no response, apparently according to there web sight I am one of 2867 people with a similar unresolved problem. I have contacted the retailer and informed them I will not be ordering anymore If they caontinue to use this company. My previous experience with them was when they left a parcel in an open garage 3 doors away, the note left said it was next door, very embarrasing as when I asked for It naighbour thought I was accusing him of stealing, company should be forced to cease trading, or, as I suggested to them In my E Mail, GIVE PARCELS TO DHL!
