My parcel is missing after driver left it on my doorstep and forged my signature. I’m still awaiting the resolution. So far they’ve emailed back including details of another customer and their tracking number! They can’t get anything right.

Had a message yesterday saying my parcel was out for delivery and would be here between 5pm and 9pm. Waited in, at 8.59pm message added to tracking, there's been a slight delay, check back in the morning. I check back, no further information, no further messages. Try to find a way to contact Hermes, phone number only refers back to website. Website only tell me to contact customer services on there, but then it says Closed, not open on a Sunday. It's a large rug, not something I can divert to someone else. Disgusting service. do I just stay in until it comes

Recently purchased an item off eBay The seller posted my item via Parcel2go, which was then picked up by Hermes couriers. I requested for it be sent so it required a signature as I wasn't sure when it would arrive and as it had a value of £85, I didn't want it to just be left somewhere. The day of the delivery my wife and I were both at work. I came home to find an attempted delivery note from the driver saying that my parcel had been left behind the wheelie bin in our back garden ! Upon checking this my parcel was not there. When I checked the tracking information online the parcel had been signed for, I assume by the delivery driver as there was no one home to sign it. I have now been battling with Hermes for over 2 weeks to claim for my lost parcel. All they are saying is they can see that the driver was in my area according to his GPS information, so the parcel must have been delivered. Now I assume the driver actually did leave my parcel there and it was stolen, as you can see the wheelie bin from the pathway to the front of our property OR it was not left there in the first place. Either way, I don't have my parcel. The signature was forged as well. A few days later my wife also had a delivery made by Hermes from Debenhams, this was also supposedly left behind the wheelie bin, upon checking her tracking info online we could see that the same signature had been used for her delivery as well. Again there was no one home that day. So the same driver has also forged a signature again and supposedly left the parcel. Thankfully my wife has managed to claim a refund from Debenhams for her missing items Hermes do not want to entertain my claim though and say I need to take it up with the seller. As they have spoke to the driver and he says it was delivered.!! How is it the sellers issue if it was supposedly delivered. The seller has done nothing wrong, the item was dispatched. I am disgusted by the way Hermes are treating me as a customer, I have sent over 50 parcels with them over the past couple of years. But that will not be happening going forward. I will be calling customer services next week to demand my refund.

Parcel was found by my postman outside the gate by the road. Parcel marked fragile but bottom was soaking wet and contents could have fallen through. Have no idea how long it had been there. Was in all day but they didn't bother to come to front door. Received email from Hermes saying parcel had been delivered and signed for. Blatant lie! Suppliers should not use this courier.

Absolutely the worst courier services. They are never on time, keep changing delivery slots and pretend they have tried to deliver your parcel but thats not true. I was waiting for my NEXT DAY delivery twice and each time receive a note saying I wasn’t at home! Have you heard about door bell? Also it’s not possible to contact any real person in customer service dept. What a awful services.

I received a delivery at 11.52 am on 11th November 2019,the condition of the box and it's contents was in an appalling condition with many rips on most sides. The driver passed the parcel to my wife with the least damage facing her,he then made a hasty retreat and was gone before we had noticed the extensive damage.Upon inspection there were pieces of the box badly torn,on the inside the damage was extensive, the framework of the easel frame had long splits, wooden supports were damage and the blackboard had a hole in it! See attachments I phoned Hermes helpline and finally got an answer,I was advised to return item to my nearest branch Smyths Toys (Portsmouth,Hampshire) over 20 miles away, or could have item collected from local pickup point, but item was too large,so I contacted the supplier (Smyths Toys) who unlike Hermes were very helpful,They have since repllaced the easel and I have a refund, but not for out of pocket expences ie traveling 40 + miles to get replacement I tried to phone again earlier today at 2.18 pm and was advised that the opening times are 9am? - 6pm the answer i got was our offices are now closed for the day!! The service from Hermes has been attrocious, I had no choice to select the carrier, but in future I will not use Hermes by choice. Today is the 16th November, still no reply from Hermes. If I could I would award them with MINUS points, they are that bad.Avoid them like the plague

I was expecting a parcel, I was home with doorbell working- the delivery person didn’t knock or ring bell, and just left a card!! The following day the same thing, home and didn’t use door bell!!😞 so frustrating!! Then today Saturday 3rd attempt- my youngest heard a very quiet knock, luckily!!! When I asked her why she hadn’t used the bell- the lady (didn’t speak good English!) shrugged! Very infuriating service!!! Not happy!

My Mrs bought for me a bit expensive birthday gift. I got a message, for delivery day and time, I was working then. After they wrote, your package delivered to the safe place. Came home but the package was nowhere. Not recived calling card, and the delivery photo was usless, nothing on photo. The Item was deleted from ebay. Hermes said, the investigate was unsucessful and refer me back to the retailer. I saw here, Im not the only one with exactly the same problem. So what is it? New scam? Attached delivery photo!!

I waited in for three consecutive days for a parcel to be delivered by Hermes although they had my correct address and postcode they failed to deliver my parcel and eventually returned it to sender. Although they said that they were unable to deliver they never once left a card. I have trouble with them in the past and I rate them the worst courier service on the planet.

They don't stick to the tracking schedule. First day, delivery was scheduled between 4-8pm. They claimed that they tried to deliver but I was not home. I WAS but they did not ring the buzzer. Second day, waited again at the scheduled time 2-4pm tracking said the delivery was delayed. It's impossible to get a human on the phone to check the status of a delivery.

Awful service. No contact details on website. No phone number to call. No guidance on complaints and how to make any. No guidance on what can be done if parcel is over 3 days late and tracking indicates its still with them. Absolute scam that such a company could be allowed to operate in this day and age !!!!

Beware trying to claim for lost parcels! I used Hermes to send a parcel and the courier delivered to a so called 'safe place' dustbin, the courier did not leave a ticket through the door to say it was delivered and so the refuge lorry came along and took it with the rubbish. The parcel was lost. I have tried to put a claim in since Aug 19 and now no one will respond even though i have gone through the process they advise on their website. You cannot seem to ring and speak to anyone and their online chat is computer default responses! The £20 insurance cover seems to be irrelevant.

in 2 month Hermes have lost 2 of my parcels the first excuse no GPS there system was down and my parcel was delivered to the wrong address, the second time was because they chucked my parcel over a fence only god knows where, it wasn't any of my neighbours even thou there was card posted there was also an online picture of my package lying somewhere on a garden path which wasn't the number stipulated on the card, I'm now waiting for another parcel and i was left a card yesterday because i was out. There is absolutely no way to contact and speak to someone at Hermes. Other couriers like DPD actually phone you when you aren't home. From now I'm not sopping with any company who uses Hermes.

Send it by pigeon next time, it might be more reliable. My parcel surprisingly came today, and I say 'surprisingly' because I had no notification to tell me it's on it's way. No email/text to let me know when it will be delivered. The delivery came while I was in the shower and missed it by five minutes maximum and a receipt was left to say it had been attempted. On this receipt there is clearly boxes marked "courier name" and "my number" for the delivery man to leave his contact details, which, unless he can't write, he was just to lazy to fill out. There was no attempt to leave my parcel next door and a box was ticked to say there was no safe place to leave it - understandable. What isn't understandable is that there is no information as to where my parcel will be kept, so I cannot collect it. No contact information, nothing to tell me when it will be delivered next and just a bar code for the website. So on to my next problem. I entered the 8 digit number on the website as instructed and, what do you know, it tells me the delivery was unsuccessful. So I attempt to contact the company via live chat, for a robot to tell me the exact same information as I already know for the third time because I have the god damn delivery note in my hand. So, while I'm talking with a robot and not an actual person, and this robot is repeating itself, I select the option to speak with somebody to which it tells me it can no longer assist??? It's literally a virtual assistant. But nevermind. So I've tried to search the website for a contact number - nothing. Is there a contact number on the receipt? Absolutely not. Is there any form of indication that this company actually gives a shhh? Oh no, not at all. That would be absurd. So I have to use an alternative website to find a contact number to yet again, be faced with another robot. It's a Friday morning, do you even have any staff? Anyway, this IVR gives me three options, none of which is to speak to a living, breathing human. So I try all three options on three separate calls for each call to hang up. So not only is the delivery man lazy and/or illiterate, and there is no possibility of speaking to a human being, I now have to wait until the next working day (Monday) for my parcel because this company is too ignorant to orgonise a drop off. And for all I know my parcel could be kept in a river overnight because there is no information. Well done Hermes, well done.
