I never write reviews but am going out of my way for Hermes which is far from what they will do for you. this is possibly the worst delivery service I have seen in my life no attempt to knock the door no information left on 2 separate delivery slips when trying to arrange alternative delivery via the website you are offered very limited options and they won't even try to leave it with a neighbour even after this I was left with nothing, it was only when I "tracked" my order for the 3rd time they had said "3rd attempt failed, sent back to sender" one star review is too good for them especially reading the other reviews stay away at all costs and check sites delivery method before any purchase

Parcel went missing but no one let me know. I spent 2 days trying to contact only to find the customer service number has 3 options all revert you to the website and disconnect.Web chat 1st attempt waited over 30 min to be cut off before and conversation took place. 2nd attempt again 30min to be told i Quote ......" I am sorry the tracking not been updated and no parcel delivered yet. We are unable to investigate this delivery. So I will email you the lost claim form once we conclude this chat.We are unable to investigate his delivery as it was lost in transit at Hub and no update further since 7 days. " Thats it that is the service you will receive

Truly awful company. They make it impossible to contact them other than via email - and the replies are hopeless. They do not honour the delivery times - and their delivery days are completely different than the Amazon website. I didn’t receive the package in the end. Blacks should look for an alternative courier.

Why are these people STILL trading absolute joke waited in for 2 days. Saying delay is due to a road block. God help the driver then he’s probably died from hypothermia. Don’t lie about your terrible service, your just rip off merchants 😡😡😡😡😡

Absolutely joke!!! Don’t know how Hermes are still in business!!!! Every single parcel I have delivered by them is always delayed!!! Never arrives or is delivered to the wrong address!!!! Any company I order from in the future I will be making sure they are not using Hermes or I will not be ordered from them!!!!!

I've used Hermes a few times in recent months to post parcels, and each time the service was quick and reliable. Tracking was very good. I've not had a single problem with receiving parcels sent to me via Hermes either. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I find Hermes to be excellent. And you've got to love their prices too.

Shocking company. My parcel was marked as delivered but the recipient never received it, probablu stolen by the currier. I paid extra for signature and instead i received a -(line) and no name. Hermes has admitted they cannot find any information to whereabouts of the parcel and who signed for it but because it was over 28 days ago the claim time has lapsed. Well i do have an issue with that as they have not fulfilled their contractual obligations and that is their responsibility of the parcel until is delivered and proof of this provided which they have failed and now are rwfusing any claim. Oohhh and i paid additional insurance to cover the value of the parcel and still a claim is been rejected. Absolutelly shocking. This will deffinetellu go further to a legal adviser as is an absolute joke on how rhey get away with these.

Parcel is delayed. AGAIN! Waited in ALL day, only for the tracking to update at 7pm to say it’s delayed with no indication of when it will be delivered. Every single time Hermes does this! I even checked with the seller what courier they use because I now refuse to buy from sellers that use this joke of a company. They said they use DPD, but no - after ordering I get an email from this s**t of a company! God knows when I will actually receive this parcel - Zero customer service! How are Hermes still in business!!! HOW??

Had an email saying parcel would be delivered between 12 -2 today Nothing. Then much to my surprise I had another email saying it was delivered at 15-30 and signed for with a picture of a scrawl of my surname. Really, well where is it then because it sure as hell isn't here!! Correct address was on emails.On line chat just keeps asking for tracking number even when you've entered it 4 times One phone number just said go on line and then cut me off . I tried another number and it told me they close at 6pm. This was 5pm . And the prize for the most useless delivery goes to....Where is my parcel? If it does EVER arrive someone will get a mouthful . Not holding my breath

This is the third time i have damage to goods delivered by Hermes took 9 days for a reply off them and was told that there drivers were fantastic, i have been in the freight business for 40 years so know a little about goods will never use this company again

I've had problems with Hermes 3 times now. If there was a way of knowing which courier the retailer used I would never have chosen to order from them. Parcels go missing all the time - says "delivered" but it's a lie, parcels never arrive. No way to get in touch, only can chat with the AI chat, the number i called only had automated messages and couldn't even email them. An absolute joke, garbage company, how they are still in business is beyond me

Recently ordered an item from an online site who used Hermes to deliver the item. Delivery was delayed once the item was in Hermes' possession. Delivery from date of order took 9 days rather than the stated 2-3 working days. Lid of the item was damaged on delivery, although this didn't affect the usability of the product.

A Hermes delivery driver called with a parcel last week and said that she had another parcel for me in the depot but she couldn't fit it in her car. That's the last I have heard of it. I am still waiting for the delivery which should have been with me by 15th Nov. What a joke. It is because they are paid for each delivered parcel so they want to pick up and deliver small parcels which are quicker and easier to handle and offer them the chance to make more money.

Hermes lost my parcel between picking it up at parcel shop and delivering to hub, I paid For next day delivery and insurance as package was worth more than £30, but apparently it is not covered as it was liquid,,(malt whisky ) which was stated at start of delivery process online , why sell me insurance for something that is uninsurable

I don't understand how this company still exists when they get the simplest things totally wrong. One more parcel sent to me via Hermes, initially claimed I was not in (I was) but, how surprising, they did not leave a notification. They now insist they delivered it and, similar to previous experiences, I will have to knock on doors around the neighborhood to find out where these idiots left it. Being absolutely useless is surely part of the requirements for this job.

Second bad delivery in as many days. Parcels left on step by gate to road. Courier could not be bothered to walk to the front door - all of half a dozen steps. Terrible service compared to other courier companies.

The courier delivered my parcel to the wrong house, I even got a photo of the door which showed the wrong house number on it. How stupid do you have to be! I’ve got to wait for the people at that house to come back from work so that I can go and get my parcels, they weren’t in so he threw them over their fence. The frustrating thing is I was in and I saw his van pull up expecting him to come to me but he went to a neighbour instead, just assumed my delivery would turn up later. Then I got the email with another persons door on it. And the only way I can complain is to ring them up, which I will be charged for.

Parcel was tracked as far as a local delivery depot. Then there was a delay. They told me the parcel was damaged. Then they said they couldn't locate it which means it's probably been nicked and they seem to be content with that. Stay clear. They're useless.
