I’m so disappointed in this company. I really don’t know why PLT, ASOS, Missguided and others use there services. Why do you guys lie about making delivery attempts? when you haven’t. You have us waiting for hours for a delivery you know your company weren’t going to make. I was sent a confirmation email/text for a 10am-12pm delivery slot which you failed to meet, then at 12:20 I was sent a 2nd email/text With a reschedule time of 12pm-14pm. I was waiting in the living room by the open windows enjoying the sun. When I thought to myself let me check my tracking details, To my surprise Im being told that Hermes has “attempted to make a delivery at 13:25🤔. So your guys must be ghost? or I must be blind and deaf not to see or hear them 😒because I can assure you that no attempts where made. The funny thing is, I didn’t receive a email/text nor do I’ve the “we missed you”card. You’re the worst company in the world!!!! Just bring me my stuff

If I could rate lower than 1 star I would rate -1. This service is diabolical! I have been on live chats for the last 3 days about my delivery which was due Friday. I have been lied to and given serious missleading information! The delivery man/woman lied saying they attempted to deliver and nobody was in yet I was sat at the delivery address which is an open shop with opening times! This service is the worst I have ever recieved in my life and the shop I order from is not also losing my custom as they use this awful courier!!!! I hope nobody ever uses them and that these reviews and complaints are dealt with seriously as I have no yet recieved anything to help with my situation as they “can not gaurentee that they can do what I ask”.

Driver not scanned at ParcelShop is a regular day to day thing at our drop off co op shop in Towcester. Just lately there is no tracking of your parcel until 24 hrs later which is very poor customer service especially if I have paid for next day delivery !! . And very worrying for my buyers as they have no idea when their parcel will arrive. My Hermes seemed to improve for a couple of weeks after the TV programme complaining & highlighting the poor service. Now it has reverted back to poor service. You can not talk to anyone to find out what is going on only the online web chat which is managed by people who do not understand English & who really do not care & will fob you off with any old excuse to get you offline. OH & I always have to pay for signed for service as I do not trust them to deliver it properly without the signed for . My Hermes really needs to pull their socks up & start providing a better more reliable service

They delivered to wrong address and they denied it. The photo they sent me was of a white door, with the package hanging out for anyone to take, my house has a red door. I then phoned them and I hung on to their answer machine for an hour, no answer, then I get a phone bill for £50 If you are buying online, avoid if they use Hermes as their carrier

Well... what went rigth? firstly I got a text to say my parcel was going to be delivered on the day, which when i got home from work it hadn’t been, so I did an online chat with one of their handlers who advised that the courier couldn’t find my address... which, okay I can accept some leeway for that, however no attempt was made to contact me or ask my neighbours to get this sorted to ensure the parcel could be delivered and was advised this isn’t something they would attempt to do so I logged a complaint. So having been told the parcel would be redelivered today I provided my contact number and a safe location to leave the parcel in case I wasn’t in. I came home again to find no parcel, again I had an online chat with one of the handlers who to be fair did his best to try and get hold of the courier but was unable to, however the chat disconnected before we were finished, when I connected with another handler I asked that someone could contact me about my complaint to confirm what action would be taken to resolve this, and was quite flatly told that no they wouldn’t tell me as it’s dealt with internally. Surely as a customer I should have confirmation that my complaint is being acknowledged and that it is being resolved?!

A nightmare. If you arrange collection on a specific day, they do not show up. If you arrange delivery on a specific day, they ignore that and attempt delivery on the days before the arranged date. Then the arranged date comes, and the courier does not show up (despite being reassured by them via chat the day before). If you arrange delivery to a shop, they bring the parcel to the wrong shop. Avoid.

No attempt made to ring doorbell. Parcel left on dustbin despite there being 3 cars on the drive. I wouldn't recommend Hermes to my worst enemy.

My parcel was misplaced and was not made known to my knowledge for more than a week. I had to contact the company twice and the LiveChat option was equally as useless.

BEWARE OF HERMES!! Completely rubbish service and beware of using Hermes as they ask to drop of parcel at some strange place from where when it gets picked up, it is assigned a tracking number which is least useful as the status update on that tracking is completely false. Parcel then keeps moving between the regional depots and you can only chat online with the customer service who are unable to disclose any details except repeating scripted reply of "your parcel will be delivered in next 24 - 48 hours", They will also not consider parcel as lost in post so that they can't compensate you!

Do not waste your time with this courier company - my last 2 deliveries have both been badly damaged - myhermes admitted full responsibility, - said they had left in an outbuilding when in fact they had thrown boxes over a 7ft gate consequently smashing the contents. Don't waste your time trying to get a claim - they have now emailed me for weeks to then confirm they don't cover the contents in their terms and conditions - what does that even mean? did not even get the postage costs back? This is when they fully admit to being at fault. Avoid at all costs.

Parcel came a day later than advised, on tracker it showed the parcel moving between Central sorted and regional depot twice. Raised issue with customer service via website, never received promised callback.

The Shutl/Hermes combo is very, very unreliable. This is THREE times now that my deliveries have gone walkabout,compared to Royal Mail's zero and 2 weeks later, I still don't have a refund. When I did receive a refund for another cock up, it was very vague as to whether I received the postage costs as well. Always used to read these sort of comments from others and thought that they were moaning old farts. Shutl/Hermes ACTUALLY CAN DAMAGE A BUDDING BUSINESS AND TURN YOUR GOOD DAY BAD. PS Shutl / eBay don't offer the option of adding the recipients phone number. Simple interface which gives the impression of efficiency but clearly a very flawed system and not taking into account real people/muppets who drive vans.

Ordered items from boo hoo and was disappointed to find out it was been delivered by my Hermes. Tracking information always seems to attempt delivery when I'm sitting I waiting for them. Always a frustrating experience with this diabolical company.

Web site information is worse than useless and actually misleading as it's incorrect. "Tuesday 18:14 Sorted at regional depot" "Wednesday 18:28 Centrally sorted" "Today 08:09 Sorted at regional depot" So sorted at regional depot twice, is it going around in circles? Then ..... "Your expected delivery date is Today" Never going to happen and they've had my parcel since Monday.

Shocking customer service. They lost a parcel sent by me and emailed me a month ago to say they would send me a claims form for compensation. They never did until I emailed them a prompt. A number of repetitive responses back and forth later, they now write to me to tell me that because my claim is more than 28 days after the parcel was dropped off to them, the claim is no longer valid! This delay was due to Hermes not sending the claims form! Utterly ridiculous. I've spent way to much time over £18. There's a reason why they're cheap. They're rubbish.

Atrocious company. 0 star. Completely unaccountable to customers-a non existent phone line, hours spent on live chat and all the information ignored. Two "failed delivery" attempts, allegedly, but I know the courier has been nowhere near the village. Not the first time I've been messed around, either. Every other delivery company finds us and delivers with no issues. I will never, ever order again from a retailer who uses Hermes. I think it says it all that they ignore the majority of these reviews and only respond to the few positive ones. This is a dishonest and unethical company that does not provide an adequate service and should not be trading.
