Appaling service and non-existant Customer Service. My parcel was received at their distribution centre and marked 'out for delivery' for weeks. They use self-employed drivers who don't give a damn. I can only assume my parcel has been stolen. You cannot speak to any of their staff and their on-line contact centre appears to be in the far east somewhere. Avoid Hermes like the plague!!

I have twice had parcels stolen which tracking has stated they had been delivered. Today it was claimed it had been signed for while three people and a dog we're home! No-one rang a doorbell which has extensions throughout the house. Dog did not bark and charge to the door! I too will check if a company uses this pathetic excuse for a delivery provider and refuse to buy if this is their default delivery company. Unbelievable they are in competition with DPD and DHL.

My hermes is the most unacceptable parcel company I have ever used, I sent a parcel signed for only to be contacted by the buyer stating a card had been put through his stating parcel in wheelie bin, NO PARCEL so the buyer contacted this shower of sxxt and was told that the parcel was signed for and to check online regarding the so called signature buyer did this and it was not his signature clearly a delivery driver had frudantly signed it and left parcel in the bin IF IT WAS SIGNED FOR WHY LEAVE IT IN THE BIN???? I am currently starting a Facebook page get other sellers to use royal mail or any other service, in one week alone I had two customer complaints regarding item arrived clearly damaged lost a total of £290 in one week a absolute shambles other friends and family have left the sxxt service due to items being lost broken or delivered 2 weeks after delivery date!!!! BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU USE MY HERMES

The worst couriers ever! I wish companies that used Hermes for cheap delivery (they must be cheap or no one would ever use them) if these companies at least gave us a choice to use another company at least when you genuinely need the item to be delivered in a reasonable time frame you know you would receive it. I ordered a Christmas present November 2016 I finally got it at the end of January 2017! After countless emails and the item being reduced 70% in the sale when I actually received it! Now we have ordered parcel from H&M a week ago and need the items for daughters holiday on Saturday and guess what we haven't received anything. After making my daughter miss her school club and end up waiting in for the 3 full days!!! Still no parcel. But apparently, they have tried to deliver it 4 times! They are absolutely lying! Why do they never even post code a card to say they tried? Because they don't try! This is exactly the same crap that happened last time. I didn't realise H&M used Hermes and won't be using them again until they use a different company provider. Major inconvenience caused. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I wish i could rate them a 0 star or a -1 ... they are the worst online company i have ever dealt with ... I booked a courier collection with them on 17/02/2017 ... courier never turned up, so i cancelled my purchase via their website & filed for a refund claim, today is 03/04/2017 & i till haven't received my refund. They don't have a customer services call center so you can't speak to them in person, only way to communicate is via web chat or email. None of their CS agents via web chat can allocate your purchase id until you give them full details. I am going to give them another 24/48 hours then i will file a claim with my credit card company & will report them to Offcom & dept of Trading Standards. My sincere advise is "AVOID THEM AT ALL COST" ...

Hermes, or herpes(because they are really bad) are totally useless. I will only buy online from a company that will not use them to deliver an item. They are pathetic!

My Hermes needs to call it a day and shut up shop, they are totally incompetent and unable to deliver, their tracking is useless and only tells you that they have either 'routed item to incorrect depot,or access to building not available' They are cheap for a reason.

Next day delivery I paid £6.99 for still has not arrived, 8 days later! Not one person gets back to me regardless of how many emails I send. Disgusting service and terrible customer service.

My story is the same as many others - they allegedly 'attempted' to make a delivery - twice; of course, they left no card or notification of this. Had they really attempted delivery, there's always been someone in. I sent an email and they didn't bother to respond - utterly pathetic ! To summarise, this IS a really dreadful company, with no notion or intention to provide decent customer service. There's bad service, really bad service and beneath these, there is MyHermes 'service'. Avoid using them at all costs !

My story is the same as many others - they allegedly 'attempted' to make a delivery - twice !; of course, neither time did they leave proof of this - no card or other form of notification. Had they really attempted delivery, there's always someone in - I stipulated that the package be delivered to my workplace, where they should easily have found the Reception area. Other delivery companies manage to make deliveries here, but not MyHermes. I sent an email and they didn't bother to respond - utterly pathetic ! Customer service ? What customer service ? To summarise, this IS a really dreadful company, with no notion or intention to provide decent customer service. There's bad service, really bad service and beneath these, there is MyHermes 'service'. Avoid using them at all costs !

I am relieved to see that other customers have had the same abysmal service that I have. I've had the misfortune of using this company three times :( I never received any of the parcels. I am a student and normally my parcels are delivered to my front door or to the reception of my accommodation. Bizarrely MyHermes they decided to sit on their a****s and wait outside reception with my parcel. This was highly inconvenient for me as sometimes I was in lectures or away from my accomdation. Because of this my parcel ended up being sent back. The second and third time that MyHermes was used to deliver my parcel, I received no indication of my parcel being ready to delivered. Instead they sent me a message saying that they'll deliver it tomorrow. Of course they didn't give me an indication of my parcel being delivered and both parcels were sent back. I've tried to complain about MyHermes by calling their office however I ran three different numbers all of which gave me the same options which was to look on their website!! Disgraceful!! In the future I will be using click and collect and checking beforehand if my chosen company uses MyHermes.

Appalling service, unfortunate that I have to select 1 star because even that is too much. Had 2 attempted deliveries and all there is date on card, no driver name or number (cards kept as a proof). I have to work for my living so not always at home. Just spent about 2 hours online to customer service chat line (all recorded for future reference) . No one can make any sense, you have to repeat your question 10 times as it appears that help centre based in India and avoiding direct answer as not too sure what to say. I was told there is not complaints procedure for end user/customer. No answer to direct question either and all blame passed on to someone else. I do 80% of my personal and business shopping online due to my commitments but, will never do any shopping with anyone that uses Hermes neither will I use them myself. I will go public and definitely seek legal advice with this, as much as it's in my power, as other customers/consumers should be aware of. It's impossible for me to describe but this is one very upsetting experience that I hope no one should go thorough with.

DO NOT USE! This is the worst courier in the world!! I have had enough of their services and their utterly poor customer service. I have had issues with them a few months back when I ordered a parcel from a retailer which had Hermes as courier. I was in all 3 days when they updated and were trying to say that they had attempted delivery! I contacted them numerous times but they only said I had to go through the retailer to get a response. WHAT COMPANY IS THIS? The parcel is now in your hands and you should know where it is and should be able to organise a re-delivery or an alternative for me! I couldn't get through to anyone to get it redelivered as they don't use post offices and it is simply impossible to get through to a local Hermes office to speak to someone as they have a "private" number? I'VE PAID FOR YOUR SERVICE AND DELIVERY! IT IS IN YOUR NETWORK HOW CAN YOU NOT BE ABLE TO CONTACT THE DRIVER OR DELIVERY OFFICE FOR ME? That time when I got through to the retailer I was holding the line whilst they were attempting to connect with Hermes and they got back saying they couldn't get in touch with them and that I had to allow the parcel to go back and get a refund. I had bought stuff that was out of stock now and I was so disappointed! Now this week I made the mistake to order from another retailer and it wasn't until I had confirmed the purchase I realised who the couriers were - HERMES. Today I've received another email saying that they have tried to deliver to my house. Allow me to laugh! You can't even find the bloody building or buzzer although both Royal Mail and ALL other delivery companies have found their way in their sleep without issues! When they fail a “delivery” they do not send out an email to ensure a customer can ask for re-delivery or perhaps a different option when they clearly can't read a google map! Or even attempt to call you if they can't find your house. They don't give a damn if you get your parcel or not as it is not in their interest! I am furious with this company and even more furious that retailers and other companies choose to use this courier. If you can even call them that! Everyone who works in this company is clearly incapable of doing what they are in the business for. Especially when their customer service clearly just sit and spin on a chair in their call centre when they cannot or are willing to help you contact their local delivery office or give out the number for this! DO NOT USE!

I ordered a limited edition, discontinued item and several others through a reputable seller I have used numerous times before. When my parcel arrived (a day late) it was ripped open, rifled through, and my limited edition item taken. As if that wasn't bad enough, MyHermes had the audacity to deliver the remainder of my parcel as it nothing had happened. Absolutely disgusted that they employ blatant thieves who steal from people's post. They clearly researched this parcel and targeted it, as there was no identifying marks to show what was inside it on the packaging. Heartbroken that I will never get my item because some greedy worker got away with helping themselves.

After it being ‘lost’ it a then scanned again 3 weeks later. After enquiring they told me it was lost again only for it to be scanned another week later. There is no way to phone them and their online chat is useless with the update always “In order to resolve this, I need to contact the courier for you to request an update. I will do this now and as soon as they get back to us we'll be in touch via the e-mail provided on the order to keep you up to date - responses are generally provided within 1-2 working days. “ they never do… Avoid this company, they are cheap because they are useless….

DO NOT USE HERMES FOR ANYTHING! My son sold an item through eBay and had it delivered by Hermes. When it (eventually) arrived, it was completely smashed. He had to refund the buyer, and attempted to take the matter up with Hermes. He thought it would be OK as he had paid for "insurance", but he was told all sorts of lies about it "not being covered" or similar. So far he has not been able to get a penny out of Hermes - just increasingly nasty responses (when he has managed to contact them at all, that is!). So, DON'T USE HERMES. If you're buying, first ask the seller who the courier will be, and if they say it's Hermes, refuse to buy. This is a HUGE company with an increasingly terrible reputation!

I, as many have used myHermes a couple of times and thought they were great. How wrong was I! Interestingly I sent two parcels on the same day, one insured the other not. The cheap, uninsured item made it safely to its destination. The item of value (a ceremonial forces uniform that was needed urgently,) went missing. After 4 days of the item not arriving and seeing that there was no update on the laughably named tracking page, I decided to call the helpful number provided to speak to someone. Only I couldn't speak to someone, all that happens is there is 4 different choices ( I tried them all) and they are all answered by an automated message, redirecting you back to the website. A ridiculous situation for a company of this size to not offer a manned customer service but it got much worse. I have spent days on the "live chat" trying to ascertain what happened to the parcel, 1st I was told it was damaged then I was told it was lost. I was informed that protocol is for the courier to return any damaged parcels to the depot and for the depot to then call the sender. This did not happen and then they just lost it..... I used live chat to ask for a call back from someone as I was so cross, apparently I was called back. This would be from the private number that as soon as I answered they put the phone down and didn't try again. After more live chatting I was told I would need to make a claim. So I did but am only allowed up to £100 plus the postage cost, despite being able to prove the item costs more. Add to this I was then told it may take up to 5 days for the refund, 5 days came no refund. Then I was told 5 working days, still no refund! I have spoken to them ( sorry live chatted) and was told they would refer it back to their refund team! The time I have wasted trying to rectify this situation is ridiculous. So currently I have paid out insurance (and I'm still not quite sure why I should pay against their incompetence,) I am out of pocket and my money is being illegally held, not to mention this uniform was not able to worn at a time it was greatly needed. I gave them till the end of today for the money to be returned or else I would be going to trading standards, so that is my next step. By all means use this company, like I say, I thought they were great, until you realise just how diabolical they are when it goes wrong. Edit

I'm an Amazon Prime member and whenever Amazon use this pathetic company, their delivery driver states "attempted delivery" when he/she clearly has NOT attempted delivery - "17:57 - Attempted Delivery"... NO YOU DIDN'T - MY WIFE AND MYSELF WERE AT HOME SINCE 15:30!!" they lie constantly! Now, if I get an email from Amazon stating that "Hermes" are the courier, I immediately cancel the order - I have never had a failed delivery when Amazon use their own delivery couriers, but ALWAYS fails when Hermes is the courier!! Terrible company and LIARS!

Literally the worst delivery company ever. I ordered an item from an online retailer and paid for next day delivery. Waited in ALL day (didn't leave from the hours of 8am to 6pm and when I checked the tracker is said a delivery attempt was made 2pm that day. So a family member was in the next day and still the item didn't turn up, so I checked the tracker and it said it was signed for. Went round to all of the neihtbours who all didn't have the parcel, and tried to call up customer services, which was basically an automated machine with no advisors. Still don't know where the parcel is and currently trying to contact a human.
