I understand that the drivers/ delivery people are paid ridiculously low and thus the expectations of a customer service should be well contained. Am honestly and truly sorry about that. But the abysmal lack of care at Hermes is truly impressive - for all the wrong reasons. Ordered hiking boots on Amazon from SportsShoes and got an email informing me, on a Tuesday, that the parcel was left "at a secure location". No details around where that might be. Long story short- they are nowhere to be found. As I was not their direct contractor ( though I have paid for postage) , they consecutively copy-pasted an unhelpful email, completely disregarding my points and feed-back. I was told via the seller ( SportsShoes) both that the secure location is my Reception ( we don't have one per se , so there was no parcel left with anyone in the building, not that I know of anyway) and that Hermes has been unable to get hold of their own driver ( for three days). Poor guy was trying to be helpful, but there was only so much he could do when Hermes was clueless about what was going on. Ended up with no hiking boots for my trip and so far, no sight of my £80 boots at all.

Sent a signed for parcel. Arrived opened and broken, 4 hours before the courier entered the signature/delivery time. Was sent a parcel to be signed for. Was delivered to a neighbour and not signed for. No notification, phoned them up 3 days past due date to find out where it was. Thieves and liars. Probably Tory funded (jk)

They delivered to the wrong address...AGAIN. This is the third time I've had a bad experience with this company. THEY HAVE NO WAY OF CONTACTING THEM DIRECTLY. Their "live chat" agents are completely useless. I've never had this much disdain for a company. If you're an online retailer PLEASE do not use myhermes.

I'm sorry to say I will not be using Hermes again. The courier left a card as we weren't home but the contact telephone number was not clear so I could not phone him back to rearrange. I tried to contact customers services to be met by an automated message - not helpful. I then used the live assistance and after waiting 35 minutes I finally got through but even though I was connected, the assistant did not respond to my query and after 5 minutes I disconnected. Not a positive experience and I would not recommend Hermes to friends and family.

Attempted delivery on the 10/05/2017. Card said they would be delivering the following day. So I took the day off so I didn't miss them again. Got to late afternoon and still no delivery so contacted them and was told driver didn't attempt delivery because the recipient was on holiday? Advised them I had taken the day off and lost a days wage. They asked me to contact sender and ask him to contact them so he could tell them what to do. So I did, he contacted me saying that they had told him I could pick the parcel up from the local depot. So contacted them again and was told this time that there would be a final attempt at delivery as there had been 2 before. I advised them that there had only been one on the 10th. They didn't take anything I had said into consideration and kept repeating the same thing regarding a final delivery attempt like their robots. I asked the agent if they could confirm delivery would be on the 12th to which they said we cannot guarantee delivery. So this means I'm going to have to take another day off work knowing that it's 50/50 whether they choose to turn up or not. In my eyes these are the lowest of the lowest in couriers. My advice is stay away from these.

Retailer has sent a package by mistake. So I have refused the item while delivery. The courier lady was so rude, she told i have to take it & do whatever i want later , its my responsibility. She cant take the item back. When i refused to take it, she left the item at gate. What kind of courier service is this? How can you forcefully give a item just because recipient's name is on the parcel? Such employees doesnt care about company for sure, just finishing her duty. Your company only receives bad reputation because of this , nothing else.

For starters I wouldn't even give this company 1star but I had to to write a review , this proplem has happened several times to me where I receive an email from myhermes saying my parcel will be delivered by a certain time and a tracking number etc, then I receive a further email saying the parcel has been delivered and signed for, and it hasn't you then try it o call them and tryouts don't get to speak to anyone it's all computers and live chats , and I'm told to contact the provider to whom which I bought the product from which I find extremely odd as they're not delivering it myhermes are I will never ever use this company again in my life , you can complain as which I did but you don't get anywhere at all with it

I was excited when I saw an item I wanted on special offer so ordered it right away as it was the last one in stock. Usually would be a £500 item but I got it at a significantly reduced price and was excited to get it. It was supposed to be here next day so I took the day off work especially to make sure I got it safely, but after getting a text that morning saying it would be delivered I got a message from the retailer saying Hermes wouldn't be delivering it that day with no notification, communication or explanation from Hermes. Upon tracking I see it was marked as 'large item allow 48 hours'. I took a day off work especially to get it only for them to now decide its too big to be delivered that day and expect me to wait and see if they bother to deliver another time at their own convenience, with zero sense of urgency for my NEXT DAY DELIVERY item. Funny because I shouldnt think that my table will be shrinking any smaller in the next 48 hours so the size is irrelavent, if it's too big they should not have taken on the parcel. They knew it was a table at the point of contract if they didn't want to deliver a big item and could not do so on time they should not have accepted the delivery. Now have to try to book another 2 days off work last minute to 'wait and see' if they show up with my delicate glass furniture in the next 48 hours. UPDATE: They have since 'lost' my parcel trying to return it to sender, and told me it cannot be retrieved so t's now impossible to get my item. As the retailer has such a large warehouse it's unlikely my item will ever be located or able to be re-shipped to me. I got it on special offer, which has now concluded and it was the last one in stock and I would never be able to afford it at the full price of £500 so hermes have ruined my chance at ever owning this furniture piece. All this occured because Hermes failed to deliver it to me and took on a delivery they could not complete. The only thing worse than FAILING to deliver a customers item ON TIME is FAILING to deliver it AT ALL. Their customer phoneline is an automated robot telling you to go to the FAQ before hanging up on you, and I waited on their live chat for over 50 minutes to be told they couldn't help me, and an email I sent to them received an automated email telling me they wouldn't deal with the issue and telling me to contact amazon instead. It's evident to me that they won't deal with complaints or customer queries directly, and the problems hermes cause are fobbed off onto the retailer to deal with, just like passing the buck. When I spoke to the retailer they insisted they had discussed with hermes that Hermes will be making a goodwill gesture since they failed to deliver the item and were wrong to accept the delivery in the first place. The staff from myhermes admitted they already KNEW they would not make the delivery date next day because they 'don't do next day' for those items and actually only bother to deliver big items every 3 days or so. No goodwill has been forthcoming from my hermes who have refused to deal with me even after the retailer expressly filed a formal complaint on my behalf (since hermes will only deal with amazon, the retailer.) Terriblse service, LOST my £500 glass table after I booked time off work expressly to wait for it on the due date, before having to book the next 48 hours off when they told me to wait longer to get the item, before finally deciding not to bother to try to deliver at all. And basically to top it all off my Hermes are not interested in giving me the time of day nor responding to the complaint. Because hermes took on this parcel they knew they couldnt deliver they have wasted everybodys time, effort and money, and I'm down 3 days of my wages I booked off, and all for nothing since I have no way of getting the table back nor a replacement as it's no longer in stock, and their communication (or lack thereof) and the way they prevent customers from speaking to a 'real life' person I feel is disgraceful. If you're reading, I'm still waiting for a reply to my emails, and my 'goodwill' gesture, hermes.

Absolutely shocking customer service, if there's a problem with a delivery or collection (which I've had several times) they don't sort it out at all. There's no way of talking to them on the phone, you have to either email or live chat. Can safely say I am done with using this company now.

Item arrived damaged, took out insurance for item worth in excess of £150. Have attempted to contact my hermes several times over a six week period spending over 60 mins on each conversation with web chat advisers, who end the conversation stating they will pass info over to insurance department. So far there has been no attempt from my hermes to contact me. As well has feeling annoyed and extremely annoyed and frustrated I do not understand why this company treat its customers with contempt and appear to be dismissing there obligations.

First they never picked up the package as requested, so I had to deliver myself. than, they basically must have throw it as damage caused would not be done by simply dropping the box. The damage repair was £75 and they offered £20... despite presented with all the evidence..

My first time using this company to receive an eBay parcel and the service in my area (pontypridd) is terrible. Driver left blank note through my door and did not come back to redeliver. Said he rang my intercom but that was a lie as my intercom was fully working and did not ring. The driver will only attempt to redeliver 3 times before your item is returned to the sender and the sender is charged VAT otherwise the parcel is 'destroyed'. There is no depot to collect the parcel from should you miss a delivery. This service is not secure and i am probably never going to receive what I bought now.
