Sold an item on eBay and used MyHermes to send it. It arrived smashed so I had to obviously refund the buyer. Got the buyer to send me photos so that I could make a claim and filled in their online claim form and they haven't even had the common decency to acknowledge it or compensate me what they owe me. Have sent 5 emails and each one ignored. Next stop is the ombudsman.

One of the worst courier services out there !, paid for a parcel to be delivered to a address and they made a complete hash of it, their reply afer I made a complaint was "it was delivered within the vicinty of the address" WTF is that suppose to mean ???, so he parcel is lost ? ok need to get the recipient to fill in a denial of delivery form ? how do I sed that to the customer on Ebay ? cant be sent via Ebay message ? their reply "yes it can and if you dont have an answer within 14 days we will take it as you no longer wish to compete the claim ! even if you mange to get a hold of them which is a nightmare in its self !!! So be very carefull when using MYHERMES even if you take extra ins they will do everything in their power to shaft you, even when they know they have made a complete ass of it.

First, I booked a courier pickup for a particular day and the courier didn’t show up. I had to keep following up the next day to make sure he comes then I tried tracking my delivery 2 days after and it’s still showing it’s at the local depot. It’s been 6 days now and there is no tracking update, it’s still showing at the sender’s local depot and everytime I follow up on it the attendant keep saying to give them 48 hrs to look into it. This is a delivery that’s meant to take 3-5 working days and it’s still showing at the senders local depot on the 6th day with no update from Hermes. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I wish I could give negative stars. Firstly they lost my parcel in March and I am still waiting for Refund (one third of my parcel value) in May 2019. with no information/intimation whatsoever from Hermes. Can you explain Hermes??

For the second time in less than 2 months a delivery which according to the merchants was given to Hermes has not been made. When the Merchants have been contacted I have been informed that delivery could not take place because of access.I live on a quiet road where there are no parking restrictions and it is possible to park opposite and in front of my garden. If that fails you can use our driveway suitable for 4 good sized vehicles.Just a pack of lies or someone has a nice sideline.

Hermes weak point appears to be at the final delivery stage. There must be some exceptions but generally the couriers appear to be lazy, lying, incompetent cretins who have no sense of responsibility or customer service. Hermes mission statement should be "Dump It And Run". Its all a bit like the Wild West. I guess if you pay peanuts you get monkeys. That's a bit unfair to monkeys! Use Royal Mail if you can.

I am not impressed. I have waited in 2 days for my delivery as I need it tomorrow and apparently I am not in on both occasions. Today I left a note on the door saying I am in and to wait until I get to the door as it’s urgent. Delivery attempted at 7.35pm. I was stood near the door at that time!!! The note still stuck to the door unopened. Disgraceful!!!! Not the first time this has happened.

Emailed me informing me that parcel had been left in porch. No card through door, no parcel. Checked with neighbours and all-around my house. I don't believe it was ever delivered. We were only out for a short time and have never had anything stolen from the porch, which is safe. I have been refunded already by the sender (Debenhams) but will pick up in store in future. Dishonest driver, would never trust Hermes. Did not speak to them as website advised contacting seller.

10 days of delays and untrue claims to have attempted delivery - I cannot believe this outfit can carry on like this in this day and age. MyHermes should be ashamed, however it is obvious they don't care. I will avoid any supplier who uses them in future. I have lost hope of receiving my parcel.

The delivery was running well over 2 hours late and I didn't have time to wait any longer so I left the house. Looking at the company's own website, I found out that in the case of a missed delivery, the delivery will be attempted two more times, starting on the first working day following the missed delivery. Instead, I got an email saying that my parcel had been delivered to my house. Once returned home, I found a slip saying it had been delivered to a neighbour. I had not given them permission to give the parcel to a neighbour. They were supposed to attempt delivery again the following day. Why they sent me an email falsely claiming they delivered the parcel to my house and why they delivered it to a neighbour against my consent is a mystery. The only good aspect of the experience is that the items were not broken.

Worst courier company EVER! If I could give a zero star rating I would. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. We tried to send a parcel to Spain from England at the beginning of January. The parcel was never delivered to our address in Spain, no note was ever left to say they had tried to deliver it, no one phoned us to say they were trying to deliver it, despite Hermes having our phone number and nobody at Hermes knew where the local depot is so we could go and collect it from there. We tried to have it redirected to another more convenient drop off point (the school where both myself and my wife work). It was never sent there, instead it was returned to the sending address in the UK. And now Hermes refuse to refund us the cost of sending the parcel. (It is now the 12th of May). It has taken us 4 months to try and sort this out with Hermes. We have been told by numerous customer services people that we will be refunded, but now they are saying they will not refund us as the parcel could not be delivered as it was the wrong address. How can it be the f**** wrong address when we live here!!! Will never use them again.

I have never encountered a company that is incompetent, deceitful and has atrocious customer service, as Hermes. Let me quantify this statement by giving you an in depth account of my experience of the problems encountered with dealing with Hermes. I ordered a drill from Aldi on 30 April. I was told by email that it would be delivered in 3-5 days. I then received an email from Hermes that my parcel was delivered at 11:38 am on Fri 03 May. This came as a surprise to me as I was at home all day and no delivery took place. There was no card from the courier in my mailbox and no sign of the parcel. The only proof of delivery was a photo of the operative’s leg and foot. I contacted Hermes and they stated that the parcel was ordered through a third party, and referred me back to Aldi. I contacted Aldi and they stated that the My Hermes tracking system showed the parcel as delivered to my address and that I had requested that the parcel should be returned to sender. I stated that no such request was made due to the non-delivery of the parcel. Aldi arranged for the parcel to be delivered on Saturday 11th May. I received an email from Hermes stating that their tracking system showed the parcel as delivered to my address and signed for by me at 10:13. With a scanned copy of what was allegedly my signature (it wasn’t). Again there was no card from the courier in my mailbox and no sign of the parcel, just the online status of it being delivered and signed for by me! The fact that someone has signed for it shows that is not a secure delivery method and needs to be protected from abuse.

Worst service i have ever experienced. 2 parcels being returned to sender due to apparently ‘3’ attempts being made. Only one attempt was actually made, having waited in 2 full days for the other mythical attempts. I will never use a company that use MyHermes as their partner.

Shocking. They have said that they have attempted to deliver three times. This a blatant lie. I have been at home each time. No calling card. Absolute amateurs, but worse than that, dishonest drivers. My parcel is now currently heading back to the sender. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

MyHerpes, more like... If you're trying to lose stuff and it's not worth hiring a skip, then MyHermes offers a cheap alternative. Otherwise, steer clear. I bought a present for my grandson on eBay which failed to arrive and promptly entered a Kafka-esque labyrinth in which a slew of automated replies and unctuous emails gave contradictory advice and information. They variously claimed that it was out for delivery or that they had been unable to leave it in my porch. Then they told me that it was with my "local retailer". I ended up trawling round local shops in search of my parcel but without success. Eventually a recorded voice on the phone told me to contact the eBay seller, thus taking me back to square one. Cynical, lazy and heartless.

If you send a parcel clearly marked all over it “fragile “then this means nothing as “ the heavy machinery “ that sorts the parcels doesn’t differentiate this!! Even if you paid extra for Insurance cover. I was told to read all the guidelines and note “ Insurance does not cover many items”. What a ridiculous and thoughtless company. Never again. It would have been cheaper in the long run to deliver it in my own car!!

Avoid these cowboys. Waited in all day for collection and no show. Checked tracking and it claimed that they had tried to collect. Absolute lie. No collection and no card to say they had been. Cuastomer service is a joke as there are only automated responses. They send sent an email which referred to delivery, not a collection, so obviously a canned response.
