Wss due to be delivered on Wednesday 4th or Thursday 05th but the did not show, no notifications or anything. They have removed the chat service and you can not speak to anyone by phone. Eventually got a message on Saturday to say it would be delivered today, did not arrive nor did it Sunday. Note the package had been sitting at my local Hermes Centre since Tuesday the previous week and was meant to be a 48 hour delivery. Sent emails, all ignored. Tried calling three times today, entered the correct numbers then tracking jumber, it went buzz for 2 seconds, then a recorded message saying we hop this helped if you need more assistance you must a) ring the seller b) use online chat c) email. No online chst and ignore emails. Checked the website again and a number found for the Customer Sevice team, rang this and just recorded messages again as previous. Also the only way I found rhe email was via a third party website. In total they have had the parcel for 8 days (day 1, Monday in England). The tracking still says its being delivered on Saturday the 07th of December and it is now the 09th. The absolute worst service provider in the UK and zero Customer Care. Will be taking it to the Ombussman due to the zero ability to communicate, delays and lost 6 days of my life sitting at home waiting. If you are a company avoud this company as it will cost you future business even though not your fault but you did elect to use them. Just a bit of communication and this could have been avoided. Again avoid Hermes UK. They dont wven deserve 1 star they are that bad.

I booked a pick up ( first time customer) and they basically didn’t come , stayed in for 2 days. Customer service isnt much help as they can’t give you an actual answer on the phone. There was a note on my account saying there was a problem with access to the building - this isn’t true, i live on the ground floor in a Victorian flat conversion with a clear path on a completely normal london road. I have been on the phone to customer service twice today to find out if it can be picked up today or if there is actually someone working in the area today as i would like to know if i can actually leave the house. Neither question can be answered- they have messaged the driver and both phones are off. So no clearer. It’s embarrassing as I have a valuable parcel I need to send asap to my buyer which is insured ( the reason i chose Hermes) . So far my experience has been very bad. If someone eventually comes tomorrow it will be 5 days after i first booked my parcel pick up ( should have been 24 hours) . Wouldn’t recommend.

since Saturday 7th December 2019 the message i am getting from there so call up to date tracking is.There was an issue whilst your package was in transit. 7 Dec 2019 8:50am Driver not scanned at depot what is going on is it one of there bins sat in warehouse now the 9th December and still reading the same as Saturday jokers thats why i never use them and make sure others get to know about the Great Hermes wants shutting down TRACKING:0523087757322216

Worst experience ever. Never ever could imagine such unethical and shameless practice from a popular courier company. First off from previous experiences with other deliveries from hermes I can say parcels are just dumped outside the property and parcels that require signatures, it’s 9/10 the delivery driver that signs that delivery has been made. NOT the customer. I have only ever signed a few times but never actually complained because parcel has been delivered and received. However this time a next day delivery took over 10 working days (2 weeks) and 8 x contact with their online chat customer service portal which is answered by reps sitting in a call centre in India somewhere who tend to just copy and past phrases such as ‘sorry to hear this’ and ‘will endeavour to resolve this problem’ etc. I was reassured with such confidence over and over again that delivery will be made next working day and that it’s updated on the system that due to restricted access to my property the delivery was unable to be made on that day, when I know 200% that I was in the house every time and even sitting by the window on 2 of the 4 failed attempts and no one ever drove upto my house let alone attempted any kind of delivery unless the couriers drive invisible vehicles? Still don’t know what restriction the driver was reporting as my house has an open driveway. Also I was told that drivers are not permitted to just leave parcels outside which I know is blatant lies. I was told it would be chased up and someone would get back to me via email. Something again which never happened Ever. Eventually on the 11th working day and 2 weeks after being let down I reported theft and demanded a refund. Guess what? Next working day a battered, dirty and opened box was dumped outside my house and updated that item was delivered. No one knocked on the door. It was almost like a stealth mission by courier who was most probably finally chased up and questioned as to where the parcel was. Disgusting and disappointing that this is acceptable within this joke of a courier company and it’s purely pot luck if you get a decent courier who is ethical. Otherwise it’s a bunch of dossers who couldn’t care less. NO ONE CARES AT HERMES..FACT!! Still waiting for an explanation which I doubt I will ever get. So so sad!!

Hermes: Greek god of thieves. This description fails to encompass the level of deceipt and thugishness practiced by this collection of toads. Their customer services only serve to issue more lies and conflict with tracking records. Incompetent and completely unaccountable. Hermes are run by theives and recidivists. Never entrust valuables to a company who avoid responsibility.

Parcel has been with Hermes since last Wednesday. It’s been listed out for delivery but then after waiting in it updates to can’t deliver today. They don’t appear to deliver at weekends even during Christmas period. Today the status is back to ‘we have received your parcel at our depot’. Still waiting and I know it’s futile even attempting to contact them.

I’ve had 2 deliveries for online orders using myHermes as a courier over the last few days. Both times the driver hasn’t bothered to even ring my doorbell, dumped my parcel outside the front door, forged my signature and run off! Customer service is a joke. The phone number advises to check FAQs, use webchat or email them. There is no email address listed on the website and webchat adviser tries to divert you back to ‘how do I complain’ webpage- it’s like a wild goose chase!

Absolut joke of a company. Apparently I made a mistake when typing in my address so the delivery was delayed but honestly when were you gonna contact me to confirm my address, Hermes? Or were you planning to deliver my parcel next year? I’m raging

One delivery left at an unknown address. Another delivery dropped over the garden gate and cardboard box open to the elements and passers by - Hermes had falsely signed my initials to state I had received parcel. A third delivery left outside front door on main street where it could easily have bee picked up by anyone passing by - again falsely signed initials to state it had been received by me. No means to contact Hermes directly - website useless.

Had tracking email yesterday to say parcel delivered to neighbour at 1105am i as i was not in (i was in) left at neighbours no card to say where and the signature and name we don't have a neighbour called that must have given to a stranger in street this has happened in the past with parcels want to get a reliable company

The most shocking company on the planet. Half of my items have not been delivered. Now I am waiting on my tree being delivered hopefully before Christmas, for them to message me saying the can’t deliver because the item is too big I can’t actually deal with them anymore. It will be the last time I use them. I got To call the customer service number and won’t let you speak to anyone and no one is available On live chat what chance do you have?

Never in my life have I ever known a courier to be so diabolically BAD !!!! Not even just a one off, a few times I've stupidly used them and every single time I've had problems !!!!! I would rather pay an extra 6£ to make sure I actually receive my parcel on time ... or better yet, recieve it at all !!!!! Absolutely TERRIBLE !!!!

My order was for next day delivery. It still hadn't arrived two days later. Their customer service is virtually non-existent, they don't answer their phones, emails, ignore tweets, and the assistant system on their site is less than useless. Not only have they failed to deliver, but their tracking system also shows an attempt at delivery that I know for a fact was never made. I have wasted two days waiting in for a delivery that never came, two days that I should have been spending getting to know an exciting new product. Two days ruined by their ineptness and their utter disdain for their customers. If I could give no stars, or better, negative stars, that's what I would give them. Abysmal.
