“Terrible delivery service. Had one parcel recently smashed after being thrown aggressively by the delivery driver. Most recent parcel (and a previous one) has been stolen and had a forged signature put on it - impossible to contact Hermes to deal with. Has put me off buying online, I can’t understand why companies still use them as they must be losing out on so much money!! Avoid at all costs!!”

“I ordered a parcel on Sunday and got next day delivery!!! It is now Tuesday evening and I still haven’t received my parcel. I’ve contacted Hermes multiple times and I have no response. My app tells me it reached the depot on Monday morning at 05:54am but I have no further information after that. I am furious and just want to know where my delivery is and when will I have it by!!! All I’m asking is for a little communication and customer service this is disgraceful!!!”

“The worst delivery service ever. I've ordered a tree at the nursery Ian Sturrock &Sons. Unfortunately that nursery uses Hermes as delivery service. Then I AM STILL WAITING MY TREE TO ARRIVE AFTER 6 DAYS. The nursery is 26 miles from my home. Then it will take more than 6 DAYS for that parcel to travel 26 miles. Terrible service from Hermes and the nursery”

“The worst courier company in operation. I have had several parcels delivered, most recent today, and it was left on my doorstep in full view for anyone to take! Sometimes no information left on card yet on the tracking website states parcel has been left in a secure place when it clearly hasn’t been. I have a shared driveway that the driver could easily walk down to leave parcels over my back gate but they are obviously not trained enough or they are just too lazy. I wish companies would stop using Hermes - so stressful when you learn it’s Hermes who is delivering your parcel you have paid money for.”

“I cannot believe in this day and age, with the current laws and technology at hand, a company such as Hermes is even legally allowed to operate. Absolute criminals. Parcel delivered.... Where???? Photographic evidence.. Picture of a man's foot... Parcel delivered.... Again, where???? Through letterbox at 23:55hours.... Bull##*@. NEVER AGAIN”

“Still waiting for my parcel. Two attemps of delivery is just a lie, as I've been home for two days, I haven't got any card, no one have been here for sure. What's wrong with you hermes? And were are my stuff I've ordered?!”

“Driver broke my gate this morning. Same driver left gate open 2 months ago and dog got out and was lost for 2 hours. Driver never rings doorbell, he just goes round back and puts parcel in shed. Silver VW Caddy delivering in the Newmills area, Co.Tyrone.”

“Awful, awful, awful company. I have never had a successful delivery from them. By successful, I mean on time, without delay, and in the timeframe on that day they have given. Then good luck trying to speak to anyone, all their automated phonelines have dead end journeys that ultimately 'thank you for calling MyHermes' (and paying for the privilege) and then hang up on you. Dreadful, avoid at all costs.”

“Waited in for a very important delivery. Had an email to say it had been delivered and signed for. When I checked online there was a swiggle In the signed box stating it had been delivered to me. Cant find the parcel anywhere and cant get hold of anyone to speak to!!!”

“If I could rate zero stars I would! Told me my package was delivered at 3.43pm but there is one entrance and one receptionist so it wasn't. Have forged a squiggle of a signature and the package is nowhere to be seen! Live chat is automated and just told me to contact the company who sent the parcel. You can't speak to a person which I find really shady! Absolutely disgusting service. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!”

“They've now lost three consecutive items, one of which is a replacement for the first item they lost. No ability to contact them - "live chat" is just an automated script. Would not recommend in any way.”

“Hermes delivered my items late and left my parcels on my doorstep in full view for anyone to steal and also drawing attention to the fact that my house was unoccupied. This was after they had said that they had tried to deliver them and nobody was home which was certainly not the case. They then forged my signature to say I had signed for the packages.”

“What a Rubbish Company . they say when you pay peanuts you get ------- . MY PARCEL STILL HAS NOT BEEN DEKIVERED , 9 DAYS NOW. When large companies like this dont have immediate ways in conactng them to speak to a human to find your parcels , What they are tyring to tell u is we want your cash but we do not want to deal with you . i found ther number and called an automated system which tels mt they are having technical issues and the phone goes dead . My Hermes , simply RUBBISH .”

“Been waiting for a delivery since the 30th November. Order showed that it was due to be delivered. Never showed up and every day since its been saying your delivery will be with you today. 9th December and it still hasn't arrived. No custoner service to contact to find out what's happening. Absolute joke of a courier service. Completely uselsess”

“Hermes delivery compan a scam !!!! I have CCTV outside so you clearly can see who is coming, but they keeps saying no one being home so we can't deliver your parcel. Absolutely scam company. I can't understand why on earth they are still operating in the UK??? !!! Should be banned!!!”

“The third parcel from a third supplier that used Hermes failed to arrive. As usual a message saying we’ve got your parcel, followed by one saying sorry there has been a delay we’ll have it on the move in 24 hours and then nothing . A giant black hole. This company is extraordinarily bad .”
