“Had a parcel picked up on 28th December for delivery to my little cousin in London for his Birthday. As of today , 7th January it has still not been delivered! The tracking (That's A Joke) states out for delivery for past 4 days! Contacted the robots at Hermes and was given the same line each time " Its being delivered tomorrow " Well tomorrow keeps coming & going & my parcel still hasn't been delivered! I'll never use these cowboys again , certainly not to send a birthday gift ! I should of took heed of all the negative feedback on websites about Hermes but this is a lesson i will now learn! Awful service from start to finish !”

“WORST DELIVERY SERVICE IN THE UK!! Every single time I order something online and the retailer uses this delivery company the parcel gets returned to sender - they have no customer service phone number and a terrible website so you can't even contact them to help and you can't really track your parcel or see a phone number for the driver or really anything that other delivery services offer... The other weird thing is even though your phone number is usually on an order the deliverymen never phone you?? if they phoned you could help them find your house?? DHL, Royal mail etc (everyone else) phone you when they're lost and you always get delivery ... its not rocket science people this is 2018!!! Honestly never purchasing anything from any retailer that uses them ever again. TO MYHERMES - GET BETTER AT YOUR ONE JOB!!!!”

“Worst courier. I ordered something from John Lewis and on the 2nd January I received an email saying that it has been posted through the letter box. My husband, I and our dogs were at home the whole day and there was no delivery through the letter box. John Lewis customer service was helpful and sent an email to Hermes, but left it essentially up to me to sort it out with Hermes. Hermes contacted their driver who then acknowledged she has delivered it to the wrong address. Hermes tried to be helpful and contacted me with updates, and that the driver was trying to retrieve the parcel from the wrong address. Three days later I am still without my parcel and apparently Hermes has told John Lewis yesterday hat the parcel has been delivered to my address. John Lewis thankfully believed me that this was not the case and I got a refund. When I tried to contact Hermes to ask why they were lying to John Lewis, Hermes said that they could not find any track record from any previous conversations and the parcel was logged as delivered on the 2nd. Infuriating! This was not the first time and it is an ongoing issue with previous non-deliveries from Hermes. When I ordered last year from another retailer, our postman found the parcels dumped underneath a caravan on a nearby road in the neighbourhood. Hermes really sucks and should not be used by any company. Really bad, disrespectful, extremely unreliable and dishonest. A poorly managed company. It was a massive relief to read the reviews on this website. I realised this happens a lot.”

“I will never use "Herpes" again. Posted a well packaged item as a Christmas present, which was destroyed by the courier. When I contacted them about compensation they asked me to fill out several forms and attach photographic evidence, which they asked for over a number of days. They eventually replied stating that they were unable to consider my complaint and would not even compensate for the cost of postage. If only I had checked the reviews before using them - no wonder they are all so bad.”

“Worked in logistics for 15 years and Hermes are by far the worst carrier I have ever dealt with and I have dealt with some of the biggest and well known, to some of the lesser known and received a lot better service. Poor communication Poor customer service Poor tracking systems Poor all round service Avoid this carrier if you want goods delivered from A to B successfully”

“Band of thieves. My family sent parcel back in October through parcel2go, I've never received it. Tracking showed the driver from subcontractor MYHERMES collected but never deliver to depo. We listed mobile phone as one of the items...and driver thought it will be handy.. Raised complain with company, investigated but nothing happened, no refund (even we bought out insurance). They surely know who collected the parcel! Very dishonest company and no customer service at all! Will never use it again!”
