It really is a shame that I can't give zero stars. Avoid this company at all costs, especially if you are using it for any sort of business. I have now been waiting for 3 days for a courier to collect my parcel. Nobody has contacted me, despite having my email and mobile number. When I get in touch with them through live chat I am just told 'We are really sorry, the collection is now scheduled for today'. Absolutely disgraceful service

Said they left parcel in garden.There words not mine,Then via emails said it was posted through the letterbox.The parcel was quite big, They expect the retailer or seller to refund you not them. I have numerous emails full of lies and contradictions. They do not answer questions , the company needs investigating. Avoid using them if you can

I've had about 10 deliveries from Hermes over the past 12 months and they have all been spot on. The best was yesterday's delivery as it was a day early!! Thank you Hermes, I get to wear my new shoes out today:)

Waiting for one small delivery, paid next day delivery but twice its "attempted" to be delivered. Not attempt was made as I was in the building at all times. Absolutely useless. Poor excuse of a delivery company.

UPDATE, see my email below. It gets worse, I have today (31 Dec) received one of the undelivered packages and on the outside packaging it shows a date of '21/12/16 and is stamped NEXT DAY'. Guess what, the tracking said the package was delivered on 22/12/16, as it 'should' have been but I only received it today 31/12/16 and did not sign for it. Delivery man knocked on the door and just left it and walked off. Makes me suspicious that Hermes drivers or systems track the date the delivery should have been made and not the date it was actually delivered. RUBBISH SERVICE

As with other people Hermes ' tracking says the goods were delivered and signed for by the customer, despite two orders never having been received. Complained to the seller but they rely on the Hermes tracking system and just say tough, the product was delivered. The contract is between Hermes and the seller so Hermes will not respond to enquiries from me and refer you to the seller who relies on Hermes tracking etc etc and so you are back to square one. Either the driver is acting dishonestly or Hermes tracking system is rubbish, you decide.

What a load of rubbish this company is, two parcels now gone missing. Can't get to speak to anyone they tell you to go onto live chat, another load of rubbish they don't answer your questions and just cut you off when the fancy takes them. If you want a few days stress by all means use them, but don't expect to get anywhere when your parcel is missing. I would be ashamed to work for this company with all the bad reviews.

Booked for a Saturday collection, nothing, nothing Sunday! Used the useless chat Monday after waiting an hour to chat with them. Rebooked and it's now Wednesday night and we against wait another hour to cancel and take the parcel to the post office!!! MyHermes are useless and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone . Poor service and poor support

3 days nobody came for collection. I sent the parcel at drop off point, delivered too late and the buyer refused it because no longer needed. I waiting since 3 weeks for return. They said my parcel is lost . Cheap and bad services.

Waiting to chat online for over 1 hour said to phone up, i did only for it to say use the chat option and then hang up. No replies to issues and a complete lack of care.

DO NOT USE THEM unless you are prespared to handle a lot of stress. My parcel was due to be collected since Friday. So far I have lost 3 full days waiting at home and no one has called to collect it. I rang customer services and they couldn't get in contact with the person who was supposed to collect it either so they left a message. I've been calling all of today but no answer because they are having technical difficulties. I tried the online chat but was in a queue that keeps refreshing with the average wait of 35 minutes. Each time I go back to the back of the queue. This is the worse service ever. They don't even deserve one star.

I have a parcel that the current courier said she could not fit in her car, It is with another driver. And still not been received 9 days later. After calling MyHermes there is no option to speak to a person. After speaking to Live Chat, they stated they only had access to retailers parcels not individual, After speaking to Live Chat again, they stated they only had access to individuals parcel, but my barcode was a Hermes Retailers barcode (although it is an individual to individual MyHermes Parcelshop barcode) After requesting the complaints procedure, I receive a fake email address. I mananged to get the Newmarket Depot's number. Calling them they then transferred me to a team who could help. This team could not help and they forwarded my claim onto someone else. No response from anyone. No one to talk to. MyHermes make an error and will put you on a wheel until you give up. I am now looking at taking MyHermes to small claims court.

My parcel wasn't picked up after a week. They then told me the order had expired and I would have to cancel it for a refund and rebook. But the website tells me I can't cancel it. Complete waste of time.

They put your parcel anywhere without informing you where. Good luck with searching. Very poor communication. It's a joke , not serious service.

Pay double if you have to, but never use myHermes unless you enjoy to be lied to. They take your money and provide no service or customer support. Long story short: paid on 5th for parcel to be collected on 6th. They failed, support said they'll collect on 7th. They failed, support said they'll collect on 8th. After numerous phone calls and letters, on 13th they send me an email that my parcel was collected on 12th. IT WAS NOT! Tracking shows it wasn't and I've used another courier company for that parcel. Now myHermes tells me delivery will take longer, will be interesting to see what imaginary parcel they think they're delivering.

I am not happy with Hermes I don't know what world these people live in, but in the real world, most people are at work during the day. An attempt was made to deliver the package to my block of flats. Access could not be made by the delivery driver because of the vehicle gate at my block of flats. Although there is a post box at the gate, no card was left. I called Hermes and asked them if I could pick up the package from their depot. They said "Due to health and safety reasons, NO". I asked Hermes if I could give them an alternative address. They said "NO" I asked Hermes if I could specify a certain day for delivery (therefore I could arrange to be in). Hermes said "NO" Hermes told me that a further two delivery attempts would be made. I told them that I would be at work. Hermes said that a further two delivery attempts would be made. It was like talking to a robot. I left them with my mobile number, the code to the vehicle gate and the code to the front door of my block of flats. A further two delivery attempts were made. No card was left. They did not attempt to use the mobile number I had given them. Their tracking website has not been updated with all this information. It just says 'unavailable'. Terrible terrible terrible. Avoid using Hermes.

Most complaints seem to be late collection or delivery but what about lost or damaged goods?My Hermes has a very long list of "excluded items", ie.items they will not pay any compensation for if lost or damaged.It is difficult to think of anything that is not on this list.I sent a guitar to Glasgow which arrived badly damaged.Seeing the photos sent by the buyer it was hard to believe it could be so damaged by normal handling.It looked like intentional vandalism.It seems that My Hermes has a licence to lose or damage anything without penalty.So read the "excluded items" list before you send anything.Basically you are just taking a gamble.They do say if you pay peanuts you get monkeys.

The Southern Rail of delivery companies. Waiting until 8pm at work for 2 consecutive days trying to receive a parcel that never came. Apparently 'Refused at reception'. Well I was here and I can tell you there was no such thing that happened. This is just the latest in a long list of bad experiences with this company. When I see they're delivering I sigh because I know there'll be an issue at least 50% of the time.
