Never use Hermes. Hermes lost my parcel which I bought cover for through them. After 3 weeks of providing details, invoices for proof of the value of my items, they still managed to find a way to rejecte my claim stating that I used 'insufficient packaging'. It's you fault for losing my item Hermes, own up to it.

Bunch of lying c**ts! Several days in a row tracking saying that there was no one home to accept delivery! There's ALWAYS someone in so don't give me your bul**it! Why just not say "driver cannot be bothered to come your way today" or "DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE SATNAV SO CAN'T FIND YOUR ADDRESS" in which case you can call the mobile number provided (since you don't have a number to call you!). Sick of this cowboy run company, still can't understand why some retailers using it!

I have used Hermes for over 2000 deliveries and I have taken Insurance out when the value of a parcel was over £20.00. Well a customer of mine sent me a photo of a totally destroyed parcel and I then tried to claim from Hermes. The item I sold was Brand New and had not ever been taken out of the box albeit I purchased it for £39.99 20 years ago. It's photograph was the first time it had ever been taken out of the box. When sold for £30.00 I packed the box in a box with more bubble wrap - Sent the parcel with the extra Insurance to the customer. The customer photographed the item and sent me the photos it had by the look of it been run over. Now this is when you hit The Hermes brick wall Proof of item cost – Receipt – Bank or Credit Card purchase FROM TWENTY YEARS AGO - REALLY Photograph of Package before being posted Photograph of damage to item So anybody selling anything on eBay will NEVER be able to claim so I have been purchasing the extra Insurance for no reason whatsoever.

Absolutely waste of time, they use local couriers and have no concerns for those sending parcels. I sent a parcel, it was signed for allegedly, I contacted the receiver and he was out all day so could not have received and signed the delivery form. Hermes customer support a total waste of time, blamed all sorts of people in the process and could not get refund for the item or the delivery BE very aware on their service, I suggest use Royal Mail

Possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with in 30 yrs of customer accounting...My Hermes delivered and damaged the contents in a parcel. I paid extra for insurance so knew I would be covered. They rejected the claim saying the had written to me explaining a month before I had even sent it...yep 1 month before I sent it they reject the claim...are they Psychic!! Trying to contact them via their live chat is a joke...always saying the will contact you again in 24/48 hrs...they wont...so dont get your hopes up. As for me...Ive written to them giving them 7 days notice...see you in court My Hermes!!

I had an account with them when they first started stopped using them for my deliveries too many complaints from customers. The experience in the last 12 months as a receiver of parcels i,e as a end user has deteriorated because now the drivers can do what ever they want because there is no customers service no tel - no on line chat unless you count the digital on line only by email and by the time they reply it is too late and they very rarely understand or care what the complaint is. The driver who comes to my home is a very arrogant unpleasant unhelpful person delivering using a small car. to carry the parcels. And twice now I have had to spend my time trying to solve a problem were he told his head office that he could not deliver because no access. It is a normal House why no access. Second time same thing but because it was the weekend they just sent the parcel back to seller I have deliveries daily from Amazon Prime. Yodal post office, parcel post and others with no problems of access to my normal home only Myhermes I try my best to avoid sellers who user this company because the problems are too big an issue to spend my time on and being completely let down by this Company Who when the seller contacts them te customer services tells them a untrue situation SELLERS wake up you are loosing buyers move your business to a better Company

Shame that I can`t leave a 0 star review. WORST courier company ever. 0* for customer service. can`t solve the problem. They promise everything but nothing been done. They can redirect my parcel to a different address. They do not call you or email you if they have any issue. They tried to deliver my parcel 8 times so far. They can`t reach the property, that every other company do. (they do not know the secret password....flat 3/4 code is 34!!! YES it`s that easy...) Even if we gave them the code and ask them to leave with any neighbor, stil can deliver. If you have a chance use anyone else! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! If you have a chance use anyone

Posted parcel at parcel shop to be delivered to USA 7 days later received back to MY home address in England. Tried for 3 hours to speak to a real person but everywhere Automated. Sent e Mail of complaint and received stupid reply next day telling me about their services no mention of my complaint. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN.

Still not delivered parcel after 5… Still not delivered parcel after 5 broken promises and 11 days on a 2-3 day service. Useless company procedure and ethics and hiding behind a computer with no direct contact numbers. Looks as if my parcel to my customers has been stolen by the 'so called' company would not trust them with nothing more then a bag of air

The delivery guy came and told me "I will put the parcel in the letter box". When I went downstairs to check the letter box was empty and the status of the order was delivered in letter box. This was my first and hopefully the last time I had to deal with that dodgy company.... Also contacted them and never got a reply! Stay away

We stayed in all day waiting for important package. It never arrived. When we checked the tracking link it said "delivery attempt made at 17:37"?! What a lie!

Today I heard my letter box go No one had knocked but on the mat a card saying they had called ? I immediately opened the door to see the courier only yards away with a parcel I shouted he turned around but didn’t respond and carried on walking As I had no shoes on I couldn’t catch him Wouldn’t chose to use Hermes but this was sent by someone else to me Now have to wait to see a second delivery tomorrow however I may not be able to have time off again ... dissapointing

Sent a parcel from uk to netherlands, 10 days later and it still just says collected from drop off and in the system. My issue is you can't live chat or speak to anyone on the phone to get an answer to where it may be. All it says is in transit. Terrible terrible service. Was stung once before by them and thought I would give them another go but will never use them again.

This would be the 4th time I have been disappointed by this service. I am no longer going to order from any company that has Hermes as their courier because its ridiculous. I took time off work today to receive my parcel & I have just received a email saying the courier tried to deliver but no1 was in.. How? When & where??? How can that be if I received my Amazon parcel today???? The courier has lied n that's serious misconduct! Extremely disappointed!!!! On top of it I cant speak to a real person who works for Hermes over the phone kmt. The company is a big joke

The service is disaster! Impossible to track, you always miss the courier and they never leave you a missed delivery notice!! Opened a case, nobody ever responded to it. The quality of service is beyond awful and professional. All companies send with myhermes only because it's cheaper, so it's not even possible to choose any other than hermes. But I'd rather pay extra money for a good service

I have used Hermes for 15 years for… I have used Hermes for 15 years for ebay related parcels (usually china). They do not compensate for lost or damaged breakables. However they admitted that lost a parcel at their depot, and are refusing to compensate as the contents were china. If THEY are responsible for loss of parcel, regardless of contents, they should reimburse the cost of contents and shipping costs paid. It is no-one else's fault, and I have had to reimburse the buyer of the goods, plus pay out Hermes costs for non-delivery. Appalling customer service. Will not be using them again.

I came home to a calling card saying my parcel was over the gate. My parcel isnt over my gate. Tried to get intouch with hermes is a bloody nightmare. Get to automated teacking service enter code item has been delivered. Can not seem to speak to a actual person so stuck without my item and nowhere to turn. Will always make sure that Hermes is NOT the courier when i order online. Hermes is a appalling company

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. I have used Hermes for around six months or so since I began selling on eBay, and until now have always questioned whether their bad reputation was justified. My feedback has always been positive for fast delivery and there has never been any issues or complaints with lost or damaged parcels. However...all was fine until I had experience of their so-called ‘customer service’. The phone lines are fully automated, and webchat, when you finally get transferred from an irritating robot to an actual person, are very badly informed and have no knowledge of their own services. Add to this she several times threatened to disconnect me when my response took more than 20 seconds to type, yet I waited in excess of two minutes at different points waiting for a response from her end. The incredibly simple piece of information I was trying to get clarified was around their ongoing in-store printing promotion, i.e. send all parcels up to 5kg for £2.95. With the April 1st price increases I questioned how or whether the in-store promotion would be affected, and their website didn’t really give any clear information on this. Having run out of all other options to get an answer to this simple question I emailed a complaint, re the quality of their webchat advisor and could they pls confirm this price query. I did not get a reply to the email, what I did get the following day was a survey re ‘my satisfaction with my (non-existent) email response’!!! The bottom line is if I had this much time-wasting and total incompetence in trying to get a simple query answered then what chance of resolving any delivery issues should they arise? I will still use them when absolutely necessary because the one thing they have in their favour is that they’re cheap – but they’ve just lost the bulk of my business.
