These products are so awesome! I'm only giving 4 stars because it was a mess to get the products... Which maybe isnt completely their fault. I contacted them twice regarding my order withing 2 months and finally it came. It felt like Christmas because I had waited so long and wasn't sure if it was even a real deal at that point. They provided me with double the product for my troubles... Which seemed to be a combo of covid, customs/their shipping company, and moving warehouses. I will definitely be trying them again. I love the lip care, shampoo bar, and face bar most out of everything. So great to be eliminating the plastic. Thanks guys! I'll definitely order again. If my next order goes quicker, I'll write another review.

I am always excited to find companies and brands that offer eco friendly products and strive to do what is best for the environment. I came across HB when they were experiencing shipping delays which is fine and I understood. After 2 months of waiting for my order it finally arrived but was not what I was expecting. I didn’t get half the things I ordered and paid for, such as the bamboo hairbrush and the razor As well as some dental floss. Instead I found products that I didn’t think were going to be there (shampoo and conditioner that I’m not going to use). Furthermore after now using these products I am not pleased with them. The deodorant doesn’t prevent me from being smelly at all and the cardboard containers are hard to manipulate and use. Overall, not a great first experience with Habitat Botanicals.

I took advantage of a free product offer (+$1 shipping) and couldn't be more happy. I got the body soap bar and was thrilled with the recycled packaging. I love the way the soap makes my skin feel and will absolutely be buying this soap bar again. I appreciate deals like the one Habitat offered and was surprised by the fantastic quality for such a great deal. 5 out of 5 stars!

Overall I was not happy with my order. My order took over a month to get here and when I received it it was open and nothing was inside. Canceling a subscription is hard because you can’t Find the portal on the website, you have to email to ask. I loved the initial idea but I will not be ordering again.

Misleading bordering dishonest- extremely difficult to cancel the hidden subscription. Shampoo and conditioner contain sulfates/ the kind of ingredients I wont be putting in my hair.

Today on JUNE 6, I received my hand sanitizer which I initially ordered on MARCH 24. When I initially ordered these products, it was my first time ordering from this company. I was really excited because I’m trying to find more eco friendly products, and I was excited to give this company a shot. Well, I can tell you that I do not think I will be ordering from them again. I initially had to contact them because there was no tracking information for my package. I cannot tell you HOW MANY TIMES I had to contact them. Every time there was a glimmer of hope the package was on its way, I was still left waiting weeks and eventually MONTHS for it to arrive. I realize they experienced some hardships and that coronavirus is delaying shipments, but their communication is atrocious. It should not take MONTHS to receive a package. However, now that I do have the package, I will say it is fine, but it has a very strong smell, which I assume is due to the high alcohol content, but I wanted hand sanitizer with that much alcohol, so I can deal with the smell. Their customer service is very nice, and they did send me more bottles than I asked for free of charge, but still, the amount of time it took for the package to arrive and the back and forth between customer service was absolutely ridiculous. They need to get it together.

NOT A SCAM! They had processing delays that meant I did not get my stuff for 2 months. Obviously I was upset when I thought I was getting scammed. It will take growing pains for eco companies to learn to compete with the giant manufactures. Stick with them...I got everything I ordered and love the stuff. GO GREEN! (Picture is my actual order)

Order products 2.5 months ago and nothing. I’m promised a refund and no money. They say they will add to the order and ship immediately for my patience and nothing. This is ridiculous.

Their customer service is a complete joke. I had to repeatedly email them about the whereabouts of my package. Every time they just told me what I wanted to hear and essentially tried to sweep the situation under the rug. What makes it even worse is that I put my faith in them to get me a much, much needed essential during a pandemic - hand sanitizer. This at a time when it was obviously scarce to come by. They deserve zero stars and a kick in the ass.

I have been waiting almost 2 months for my shipment and still have not received anything. I even filled out the email form they sent me to help with questions, and I received no email or answer back. I have a tracking number, but it tells me nothing. You will never receive my business again no matter how much I love the product...if I ever receive it 😡

Absolute horrible company to deal with. I ordered products two months ago, and still have yet to receive anything. I have asked for a refund and I was told I would be issued double the product because a refund was not possible. I’ve been back and forth for over a week now and still haven’t heard or received anything from them.

Do not purchase from them. They lie and take your money. I’ve been waiting since 3-22 and contacted them Numerous times only to be told it’s lost, we will re-ship, sent me a bogus tracking number. I will be contacting my credit card company since they will not refund my purchase which they cannot fulfill. You should be ashamed Of your company right now new or old, taking advantage of people during a pandemic.

I also ordered hand sanitizer and soap March 26 and was charged with an order number and no follow up email. Numbers us emails later, apologies and the last one that maybe my address was wrong and it “was lost” and they’ll ship again—I’m figuring I’ve lost this money. I really thought Pela was a light company and wanted to support another grass roots green organization—makes me question whether Pela is ligit either. Can’t add a photo as I’ve received NOTHING!!

Though at first skeptical because of the time it took to receive my order, I have to say the quality of the products are wonderful. I am very happy with the deodorant, lip balm and tea tree soup. Unfortunately due to chemotherapy treatment I lost my hair before I could try the shampoo but am sure it is equivalent to the other products. With all that has happened in our world recently, this company deserves a chance. Their products are worth trying 🤗

Ordered on March 30. Still no product or expected delivery date. As of April 30 I am being told to give them another week or so. This is not acceptable for the cost of this product.

DO NOT ORDER! Ordered 4/6. Inquired about order status since "shipping label" was created on 5/5. Also inquired about process for refund if order isn't received next week. AND inquired why they are still accepting orders when they can't even fulfill current orders. Got this response: "This is ____ from Habitat Botanicals, one of the care specialist and we would like to thank you for putting your concern into attention! I will be more than happy to attend to your needs! Upon checking your order is ready and is waiting to be picked up by our shipping partner for dispatch! Once done, give us 2 - 8 days for processing and 7 - 14 days for the actual delivery. We do our best to get your orders to you as fast AND as sustainably as possible! Please note, all shipping times are estimates only provided to us by our delivery partners. Shipping times are subject to many variables such as volume (think Christmas), weather (think snow or hurricanes) and human error (think mis-scans or lost packages) and we try our best to give you accurate times! As for your question: If items are not received by next week, how do I go about requesting a refund? I wish I would not be the one to break this news to you. We would not be able to process refunds for any order before April 15th as the company is now under a new management. As of the moment, we no longer have access to the previous company's accounts since they went bankrupt. If it was physically possible to refund you I assure you, it would already be done. I truly wish this wasn't the case so that I could fulfill your refund request. We are still accepting orders as we were told, "to stay open as an essential business, we needed to make hand sanitizer and antibacterial soaps." To continue to stay open and make sure customers are getting their orders as well as customer service support, we had to stop everything we were doing to accommodate this. So, we got right to work! We are projected to be caught up in 1-2 weeks. :) We're all hands on deck and sending out over 200 orders per day.Our solution to the problem was to immediately actively problem-solve to make sure this everyone is taken care of. We made sure all the items are in stock, then we hired several employees to help fulfill orders as fast as possible as we now have to keep up with COVID-19 related orders in order to stay open as well as our previously delayed orders due to our move to a new warehouse. I wanted to be supportive of their green initiative. I'm truly disappointed as I AM the "emergency personnel" they are referencing. Seems like a lot of lip service at this point. I have been patient, but come on...guess we'll see what happens...

I placed an order on March 17th 2020, and received shipping notifcation on March 30th. However, it was just as SCAM. They printed the shipping label, but did not ship anything and then blamed the shipper for falling to scan the package.

I was curious to try out HB's products, and now I am thrilled I did. I cannot say enough good things about the deodorant. I forget I even have armpits, rather than thinking about how sweaty they are! I can't wait to try everything else that came in my goody bag.
