Barriers didn’t work on exit on Monday 16th May. Had to get out of my car and walk to the office in the rain because the operator wasn’t answering the call button on the machine. He said the machines were water logged and that I had to go back to my car and he would lift the barrier. I returned to my car but he didn’t lift the barrier. I had to get out of my car and walk ti the office a second time in the rain to ask him to lift the barrier. He didn’t apologise, he told me to go back to my car and he would lift the barrier. He eventually lifted the barrier. Zero customer service

No coach going or coming back so a long walk in the dark and cold to the terminal. We would not have booked had we been made aware. Reported this back as feedback and so far on response.

Far too expensive !! and close the nearest long stairs and guide you towards the furthest away parking with buses for transfer few and far between

I paid to park in the short term car park. I parked in the short term car park. Opposite where I parked there were signs limiting the use of each of the opposite bays to minibus drop off/pick up. There were no signs in the bays in which I parked. There were several other cars parked near me. I was confident that I was not parked in the minibus bays. When I came to leave 2 weeks later my ticket was not accepted by the barrier machine, which told me it was black listed. I had to speak with parking control who said I had been parked in the minibus bays. I was forced to pay another £21 as a fine to be allowed to leave. GET YOUR SIGNAGE SORTED OUT!!, daylight robbery. I won’t be using Newcastle parking again. I’ll get a taxi.

Car park closed next to airport where we normally park. Barrier wouldn’t lift when trying to leave. When asking for assistance for phone put down on us very poor service.

Used to be much better. Unfortunately the past few times we have used the car park it's been a complete mess. Most areas closed, we had to park in the pitch dark practically in the bushes at the very back with no operational bus stop within reasonable walking distance. No buses seem to be about anymore resulting in a long walk to the terminal. There used to be more frequent buses. Upon return again there was no bus so after a long wait we had to make the long walk again. More expensive than it used to be and worse service. Not good enough.

Used loads before and no problem - This time the machine misread the number plate and tried to charge me £300 - Bloke on intercom was very snotty as if was our fault.

I made Short Stay 2 parking booking reference LKVX0 in respect of vehicle X888 JDH from 1 p.m. on 16/10/19 until 8 p.m. 17/10/19 and paid £40.49 in advance for the pleasure! When I arrived to park up the sign said car park 'full' but assumed that would be making allowances for advance bookings so entered and tried to find my pre-booked space. I proceeded to waste 10 minutes driving around and found no spaces, so I had to park in Short Stay 1 to ensure I caught my flight. I obviously then had a Short Stay 1 ticket (Ref: 04148) and emailed to check that my pre-booking would permit me to exit and that I wouldn't be 'ripped off' for another parking charge when I returned the following day. I received an email response apologising for the error in Short Stay 2 and was assured I would be able to exit Short Stay 1 with the ticket I had, with no further charge. True to form when I got back the following evening the ticket didn't work and I was only able to exit by pressing the button and explaining the whole mess all over again.

My main issue with the airport is lack of air bridges. Arriving from warmer climates it's very annoying to return to Newcastle on a cold rainy night. As there are only 3 air bridges it's about time for some improvement to enhance passenger convenience.

On leaving the long stay car park i stopped to pick up my disabled mother who couldn't walk to the car. I received a parking ticket and now have debt collectors threatening me with court action for non payment. Very poor signage to read whilst driving.

the splitting of shortstay1 and shortstay2 is pure greed.I booked shortstay2 only to discover it had been moved well away from the terminal.This caused major problems to my wife who is disabled.When i last looked at the map shortstay2 was next to shortstay1 .I would also suggest you create some disabled parking spaces.

Got a £100 parking ticket for pulling over just outside the barrier to pick up disabled passenger in a wheel chair!!!! Be very careful and don’t stop anywhere but in the marked bays.

Left my car on meet and greet. Expecting car to be parked and left there. Nope I came back and my vehicle had done 5 mile while I was away. And car covered in mud. Have been offered to purchase a car wash in my own time and send copy of receipt to them and will pay for it. As for great service was ridiculous I got off plane went to collect car and man didn’t even come show me where my car was. Just said it’s outside and over near arrival booths that’s it. So really as a meet n greet service is rubbish. Should be just called leave keys with us and collect them when u get back, while your away will take car for a spin in a field

Almost every time I use the service the number plate recognition does not work and I end up having to call the contact number to get out of the car park. The last time was very late at night and took ages. I suggest something needs to be done to improve this.

I had booked to stay in short stay car park at a slightly higher cost. I was told to head to a named carpark upon arrival. Could not find it. So ended up in long stay car park and headed to customer service cabin to enquire. I was told that the signs had not been changed yet to direct traffic to the paid for parking area, and I had no option to leave long stay now. Not without having to pay again. So not my greatest experience of Newcastle Airport parking this time.

At what stage do you stop letting people into the long term carp park to ensure that there is enough space for pre-booked customers? Today it too me over 20 minutes to find a space, in a corner furthest from the airport. The shuttle buses are useless, I was within 10 yards of a bus stop and waved to attract the drivers attention, but he sailed serenely by. They should stop when hailed rattler than at bus stops!
