“Accidentally signed up for their socks next to my free trial. Cancelled as soon as they would let me, yet they're trying to require me to pay for one month. Now they're acting as though I am indebted to them, for a subscription that I did not want and that I have not received. They say they're turning me over to their collection partner but I'd like to see them try to do anything substantial when they have no legal basis. You can NOT require payment for an item that I did not want and that I HAVE NOT RECEIVED. This is completely illegal and they can pry that money from my cold dead hands. Seeing as the they're not working on the side of the law, I sincerely doubt there is anything they can actually do. I shall look forward to seeing them try. THEY ARE SCAMMERS at best, CRIMINALS at worst. DO NOT BUY, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.”

After paying they do let you cancel, but you have already paid in advance, even if you don't want the product, and they force you to pay with threatening messages.”

I made a purchase on another website and was offered a free boxer from On THE ASS as a reward. I have to put in my details and card information for identification purposes. I had no idea this would turn out to be a subscription. When I found out that they were taking £9.99 per month for a pair of boxers that I don’t need (I haven’t even try the one that was supposedly free- not my taste of boxers). I cancelled but still taking my money.
I contacted them and they said I had a subscription I told I did not!!! But they claim when I put my details in to get the free boxers somewhere in the fine print I automatically goes into a subscription. I asked why does that have to be in a fine print for someone who received a free boxer as a reward. No answer !! Just lots of unwarranted information to frustrate me.
I am taking this to the Ombudsman and possibly small claim court.
This is scamming to the next level. No wonder ON THE ASS is getting rating score of 3.”

I ordered these cuz they were free. when thy came I cancelled the membership and now almost 2 months later they send me a warning that I have an outstanding payment for a socks and boxers but I cancelled them but they didn't send me a cancellation confirmation so I have to pay for it and then I'll have to pay again next month and then thy will stop sending them and wanting money ( or at least they say)”
“niet te spreken over dit bedrijf. en ben ca. 2 jaar lid geweest. onderbroeken vervagen snel. sokken zitten te ruim of te krap. lelijke prints en veelal hetzelfde (maar dit is natuurlijk persoonsgebonden). kwaliteit is ook niet echt al te best.
Over de service niet echt te spreken, leveringen die verkeerd zijn gegaan. en ook rare acties, waar je lang voor moet sparen, die ineens uitverkocht zijn.
Opzegtermijn is apart, als je opzegt zit je er nog een maand aan vast.
ik raad iedereen aan om voor de helft ergens anders onderbroeken en sokken te halen.

“I am a reviewer and I am testing loads of products but your website is just so badly designed and not straightforward at all.
Firstly: the BOT, is soooo hard to get to the customer service representative!
Secondly: cancelling the membership - I’ve never seen any website of where you can cancel the membership but before that you will still be charged twice for products. The customer should cancel the membership straight away without extra costs and products.
And Lastly: AN APPALLING AND UNHELPFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I’ve explained my frustration and asked for cancellation of my membership because I couldn’t do that myself but no one did that AND no one even apologised! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND DISRESPECTFUL.
The quality is also bad, I would say 2/10”
“It was totally unclear that this was a subscription. It was meant to be just one order of free boxers to try it out. All the communications were in German after my first (free) order and then they charged me unexpectedly. Payment didn't go through (funds too low on my card). Impossible to cancel subscription before this is paid...”
“SCAM! I first got into the free boxers scheme last July and it worked fine. I got my boxers and cancelled my subscription in time. Recently I got a clickbait email saying something on the lines of more free boxers. I went on the page, restored my membership and also created another account because my other wasn't working. After I found out it was a scam I 100% cancelled BOTH subscriptions or until it would let me. I've just had a payment pending email for 20 pound. I will let you know if its been resolved”
