I not recipe my sofa I whont cancel my order

Ordered a Sofa in November 2017 which arrived as previously arrived in February 2018. OakFurnitureland Sofas have removal backs and are supplied in very large cardboard boxes. The Customer is expected to construct the parts of the Sofa themselves. Similar to an Ikea flatpack. This would have been beyond my capabilities because of the weight. The delivery men had to remove the two parts from the box to gain access and installed the back to the base of the Sofa. As soon as they left I found the back to be unsecured due to a fault, I asked the drivers to return but they refused. I was told that I had to telephone customer services (And found this to be a premium rate number costing £0.20 per minute. Customer Services were unable to provide a date when a representative could call as they are booked many weeks ahead. Rejected the goods and returned for a full refund. They do not seem to care.

Couldn't order the combination I wanted, sales staff very unhelpful. Customer Service also unhelpful. Furniture delivered is of very poor quality, creases everywhere. The 'free' scatter cushions were awful. About to order new bedroom furniture but it certainly won't be from Oak Furniture.

Placed order online. Then got a call the next day to orders could not be fulfilled. The chap wa very helpful and offered alternatives which we managed to compromise and make it work. But it cost extra. Then we took delivery and one of the tables was broken when we unpacked it and the wrong chairs were delivered.

Bad experience would not repeat not purchase their again sales men,s lies. Attitude by lady at he ad office , indifferent a case of tough. Recent calls hard to talk with loud chatter

Late delivery. Charged for phoning customer services. Dirty packaging. Damaged items which could not be repaired. Generally an unpleasant experience!

The furniture is good quality but the service is deplorable. If you are not able-bodied, or have plenty of people to help you don't bother with them. They will not unpack, leave with you all of the boxes, packaging to dispose of and we were left with a 72kg sideboard upside down that we had to lift the right way ourselves. Why they cannot provide an extra service to help people out is beyond me. Anyone elderly or infirm would not be able to deal with them by themselves. They were also going to leave two huge boxes in the road blocking traffic. Dreadful, dreadful service. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THEM AT ALL.

Delivery was awful just dumped in living room . With all packaging on etc , my wife had to put furniture feet on etc as I have had hip replacement. When phoned delivery men to explain need there help , he said would call back in 5 mins obviously heard nothing , then they didn't pick up the phone .

It took 3 and a half months to deliver the sofa. When we queried this, we were told that it was a bespoke order. However, when we ordered the sofa we were not told that this was a bespoke order and the website did not mention this.

We were absolutely definite assured that our sofa would be delivered to our flat in St Ives in an appropriately sized vehicle. We were telephoned by the driver to let us know that they couldn't deliver because they were in a seven and a half tonne lorry!!! We had to give them an alternative address to deliver to and then had to pay ourselves for a second delivery. I telephoned the shop to let them know and they apologised and suggested I ring the people whom I had paid for a damage insurance against stains etc on our sofa. Clearly that wasn't appropriate or helpful!

The staff in the shop were so rude once we bought our couch - being a showroom item we understood it needed us to remove it but everyone of them went out of their way to be rude, awkward and unhelpful - the manager even quite threatening when we were trying to arrange collecting it

Avoid this company at all costs. They say free delivery but if you miss a delivery through no fault of your own they charge you £39 to have it delivered again. They will not let you cancel unless you pay £25 so they have you hook line and sinker. I ordered another item and though they would deliver them both together for free. No chance. They still made me pay £39 even though they were coming to my house to deliver a new item. Thieving nasty people.
