“I love O Brien’s wines! A nice selection of Vegan Wines, The Magnum bottles of Wine should be available for Delivery as it’s a great gift idea for Birthday’s etc”

“Left cardboard boxes full of wine and spirits bottles in front garden during a storm. Boxes almost disintegrated with the rain. Secondly, as the delivery was alcohol it should not have left unattended. I believe this is against the law. I requested an alternative delivery time 15mins after receiving notice and it was ignored. This is second time alcohol was left unlawfully in front garden. I reported this two or three years ago and was told action would be taken. Clearly nothing has changed and I will reconsider in future using O'Briens.”

Hi Paul, We’re really sorry to hear about this. Leaving alcohol unattended is unacceptable and not how we aim to operate. We take your feedback seriously and will feed this back to our courier to improve service. These are restricted and high value items, and orders are supposed to be returned to the depot if no one over 18 is available to sign for the order. We will investigate and follow up directly. “For the 2nd time, I clearly marked a delivery address as distinct from my address and for the 2nd time, the parcel was delivered in error to my address with no offer from O'Brien's to resolve this or divert the parcel. I will never use O'Brien's again, farcical!”
