Package dropped at front door , no signature looked for , driver did not check to see if customer was home . Very poor.

Online order (decent bottle of whiskey) placed, and paid for on 12th June. Delivery expected 15th June. Excellent. Except….nothing has been delivered. Zilch. Tracking page says “shipped”. From Finglas. It’s only going to Bray! I cannot contact ANYONE. There is NO WAY to get a human response. Have emailed. Have messaged on FB. Have Tweeted. I understand that “things” happen, but this level of servic3 really cannot be excused.

Not good. 4 types of wine out of 12 ordered replaced with cheaper bottles. Every one was €1.50 cheaper which I'm sure is no coincidence. One of the replacement bottles is also on sale now in which case I have been overcharged €17 without any explanation.

Champagne for my friend Denis Geary ordered on MAY 10, in time for his 80th birthday. Although I gave a correct address which I have used for the last 20 years at least and confirmed with the government phonebook, the courier could not find it and it was returned to Stillorgan. It was now past his birthday so I cancelled the champagne and ordered wine instead, this time with the Eircode. The shipment got lost. It was resent and then the courier claimed they could not find the address though it was clearly stated on the label. The wine was finally delivered 5 weeks after the original order. This is totally unacceptable as I'm sure you'll agree. Alex, your representative did what was expected of him, the failure was clearly the fault of the courier. I was very upset that my friend had to wait so long for his gift, way past his birthday. I do not want anything from you but you could at least phone Denis Geary 058 59121 and apologise. I would also expect a responsible company like yours to offer him something more concrete by way of apology. Thank you, Dr. Alan Thomas

Very disappointing. Was told by Ashbourne store delivery would be Saturday.. it came on Tuesday when event had passed. Will never buy from you again.. not at all customer friendly

It took 9 days for them to get it delivered. I did multiple followups every single day. If you want to gift someone, please don’t order from here

Boxes for the whiskey bottles were damaged as they were forced into a holder for a bottle and not a box. So the wrong packaging was used. Very disappointed as I am a collector and it has now been devalued as the box in no more good.

This is not a review of the wine but of the delivery experience... Having been informed by DPD that the order would be delivered around lunchtime today (07.04.2021), I was phoned at 1.45pm by a neighbour living about 0.5miles away asking if I had ordered a package from O'Brien's which had been dropped (literally) outside their house without any contact from the courier. She subsequently delivered the package to me. In the meantime I had called DPD Galway and explained the delivery experience. The person I spoke with acknowledged that this was unacceptable and apologised on behalf of the company, and said that she would 1) call the courier and 2) inform a manager. She particularly acknowledged that it is unacceptable to leave a package containing alcohol in an unsupervised public place, which could be accessed by children or young people. I acknowledge that we live in a remote location and that the eircode map is misleading, but my mobile phone number was attached to the order, I was at home at the time of delivery and I could easily have advised the courier of our location had he phoned me. On 25/3/21 I ordered 2 bottles Monte Real Rioja to be delivered to my sister in Malahide. A few days later 1 bottle was delivered and to date, NO other bottle was delivered. WHY, (in the name of God) would you split -up such a small order? Please check out this order....WO_5181103. and let me know when, or IF this order is fulfilled. Bernard Mc Ardle.
