“They were fine when I was with them. After I sold my house they messed everything up including creating new accounts I didn't authorise with other people's names that never even lived at the house, sending debt collectors after me, final bill late, different customer service person in the email thread every time, patronising, incompetent, slow. Months later issue still ongoing and another 'final' bill was just issued after the third 'final' one.”
“Emily was First class. My problem was instantly sorted out and my Smart Meter installation was booked there and then.
Seemingly there was a software problem that others had encountered which would not work when either link was attempted to be used.

The Gas engineer who came to fit the meter was also great (Seb) - also making sure I had all the information to report back to my landlord.

“After 6 weeks and many emails it is clear that Customer Services are no help in getting my smart meters fixed. They keep asking for more information and then losing it between Jamie leigh and Hollie.
Yesterday an Octopus engineer was with my neighbour fixing his identical meters and confirmed that my meters need the same but of course he needed your authorisation.”

“Rang octopus today I was given a payment holiday until August 22nd which gives me breathing space as I'm struggling with my payments at the moment the young lady I spoke to was very helpful and understanding about my current situation plus she was very pleasant to speak to as I'm a 70yr old retired pensioner who lives on his own so I'm very happy and satisfied with the service I've received from octopus energy today thank you again.

“I was pleased with how quick my call was answered. Sammy was very polite and helpful and took her time going through all the unit prices with me, she was patient whilst I compared my current tariff to the new tariffs on offer. My tariff was changed at my request, everything was straightforward.”
“Zaid from the beginning answered the call in the most positive happy and welcoming tone and continued to do so all throughout my 50 minute call.
I explained it was my first time living alone so he took the time to thoroughly and slowly explain everything offering me all the appropriate options and guiding me in understanding how electricity works for my complex metering system!
He had technical issues a few times as we processed my contract but he did not show any disdain and kept having a very positive and friendly attitude.
He never once made me feel like I was asking too much.
