We have used Oddbins to deliver bottles of wine to our clients at Christmas time for the last three years now. We have found the service to be excellent. Quick handling of names and addresses, followed by prompt delivery to all our client's addresses. We would recommend the service.

Oddbins, particularly Stefan, was fantastic with our large company wine order of client gifts this year. We had over 100 addresses with 350 bottles of wine. The customer service from Stefan was excellent, he was always on hand to help despite a ridiculously busy period. We needed a tracking system which we had been failed on previously from other wine merchants and the system set up for us was very good - especially with Stefan's help and wonderful service. We were also able to add gift messages and also, company Christmas cards should we have wished. We opted for the gift messages only as it was such a last minute order for Oddbins they couldn't accommodate the Christmas cards as our company could not deliver them to Oddbins in time for packing - due to the previous wine merchant letting us down at the very last moment. I'm extremely grateful Oddbins could even accommodate our last minute order. They worked very efficiently and effectively at helping us get our orders delivered the week we had requested. Great service!

I placed 5 separate orders of nice champagne for friends living in the UK. It took a long time on the web site because address matching software is not intuitive, doesn’t always have a match and if you don’t have thorough knowledge of UK address systems, you’re out of luck. In any case, none of the deliveries made Christmas, some made New Years and one was delivered to a wrong post code. I’ve emailed oddbins customer service twice. The recipient has called but we’ve heard nothing. Black hole. I’ll have switch back to JL.

Good afternoon Lisa, thank you for your orders and feedback, we are so sorry to hear the experience was not as we would have liked it to be for you. Since your orders where placed in the late afternoon on the 23rd December, we did do our best to get them to your recipients as soon as possible. As you mentioned, one of the orders had the wrong address on and this of course caused the delivery issue. We have had a look at our tickets and could only find one email from yourself regarding this matter, this was sent to us on Monday 09/01/23. After investigating the status of your order we responded to you on the Tuesday 10/01/23. It does sound like you may not have received or seen our response so we have re sent our reply to you today, apologies if this has caused you to think your message ignored. Not happy having to place my order online rather than being able to use my gift card via my local store ie having to pay delivery charges and having to await delivery via a courier. Also, felt the packaging was overdone (wasteful).

Thank you for your feedback Gary, we are so sorry to hear of your upset at receiving an online only digital gift voucher. We do make it quite clear to our customers when purchasing these as a gift for someone that they are for online use only. As the items we send out mostly consist of glass bottles we do have to take extra care in packing them well enough to prevent breakages. We do however use recycled "pulp material" that can be composted or recycled again after use. We do hope you enjoyed your drinks and thank you for your feedback.

Really impressive service - ordered very late before christmas and not only did it arrive in time - 2 days later - but the person packing it up - called me and confirmed that there was a beer we had requested out of stock and could we pick another to avoid a late delivery! I ordered a bottle of champagne as a gift for delivery to the Isle of Wight in the eeek before Christmas, and it was delivered the following day. The delivery service was excellent as were the updates sent via email.

First-rate! User-friendly, highly efficient online ordering process with real-time help if needed (on my first order, I inadvertently missed the opportunity to add a gift message, so I emailed customer service - Stefan very promptly confirmed he'd added my message; second order, I used the chat feature to ask a question and almost immediately received guidance - from Stefan!) Product choice was good too, and I ended up using Oddbins for several gifts in different areas of England and Scotland - all were delivered timely. Thank you so much! As a Brit living in the USA since the mid-eighties, it's always a challenge to come up with the right gifts for my (large!) family in the UK - Oddbins delivered for me this year and I am very grateful.

I ordered some wine to be delivered to my sister in Low Fell. She wrote and told me the wine was left at the front door, she was at home at the time, and it was only when she went out she found the wine. She was lucky nobody took it. I find this unsatisfactory. The delivery person only had to ring the bell or knock on the door. I hope you pass on these concerns to your delivery people. Regards Jean Jones Australia

Hi Jacinta, thank you for your order and apologies if this delivery has left you a bit upset. We have tracked your parcel and can confirm that it left us the next day on the first available courier collection on the 13/12/22 A delivery notice txt was sent on the 14/12/22 and delivery attempted without success. The addressee was then advised to collect the parcel from their local Post Office. Rest assured that we would never leave you out of pocket for something you never received. I order wines from Australia for to give as gifts to relatives in the UK. Oddbins customer service is excellent and their delivery is both fast with regular tracking updates. I love the variety of different quality wines available.
