First and last time I will ever use OnBuy, as had a bad experience and since then I have avoided the website. It all started when I noticed a Computer monitor (Samsung G7 32") for a good price from (Productpond Uk via OnBuy), and therefore bought it on the 9th of March 2022. The next day the 10th of March from the same company was a Samsung G7 27" monitor which my son would love for his birthday, so went ahead and also purchased. The problem started from here onwards. The next day on Friday 11th of March, got an email stating the Samsung monitor 27" was out of stock? Which it was not when I purchased this. Then I got a rude call on my mobile on Sunday the 13th of March, as the person stating he was from 'Productpond Uk' that also the 32" was out of stock and trying to sell me a display model? Also stating something in regards to "we are entitled within 24hours including weekends to cancel your order". But I ordered it on the Wednesday, that was more than 24hours, but also the 27" was more than 24hours. So what is this company doing! In the end I decided, right let them go ahead, as I will just write a bad experience, as to warn other customers of this trap of trying to buy but out of stock rubbish. Now I do say rubbish, because, would you believe it the 32" is back on their shelf and stating only one left! (as of 22/03/2022) So it seems their right hand does not know what their left hand is doing or they are just conmen!

Avoid and pay a little more elsewhere The seller delivered the wrong item. There was no returns button on the order page. After 10 days of emailing I have received a refund from PayPal and literally 0 information on how to return the incorrect item from Onbuy. They have offered me a 10% discount to keep the wrong item and that they will “mail me a returns pouch”, but they haven’t.

Bought item, tracking never updated until Yodel claimed to have delivered BUT they didn't. I have proof from Yodel that they didn't and yet I cannot get a refund, WHY NOT? If you act on behalf of sellers you too have a responsibility to ensure that the sellers you represent are ethical and provide an honourable service and provide a refund when goods don't arrive THE SELLER STILL INSISTS I HAVE TO FIND A LOST PARCEL - WHY? Yodel have told me it wasn't delivered, they don't know where it is, why can't I get a refund? TOTALLY USELESS

Only Pay By PAY PALL or risk losing your Money bought 3 items without any problems from UK sellers, bought a solar light from a company called Chrysolite on 17 Feb when it came it did not work even after 3 days in the sun, opened case through OnBuy but they make it very clear its up to the buyer to sort it out as they are only a third party and all the seller would offer was a part refund so as it was paid for with Pay pall opened a case with them and on 7th March got a full refund but not from Chrysolite but from Chuhaitony Ltd in China who don't seem to abide by the UK distance selling Laws. So to sum it up unless OnBuy bring in buyers protection like the 2 big players I would not buy from them again and would advise anyone thinking of buying to Use PayPal or risk loosing your money.

I ordered a corner sofa bed from your website the seller was Hangyu I ordered it on the 8th of December. For my guest arriving at Xmas . However I Only received one part the corner part was delivered, but nothing apse . Which means I only have half of the sofa bed as it was a double sofa bed I ordered . This was a huge inconvenience to me and my guests .The cost was £320. I have been emailing Hangyu for 3 months now and they have constantly lied in every email they have sent . First stating they refunded me which was a lie . Second they said they sent the sofa again which I have not received, they sent a hot air heater instead which I did not order nor do I need . So 3 months later they have still not resolved the issue I have half a sofa bed and £320 out of pocket . I am so disappointed in this service and have contacted trade and standards and I hope to expose the company in as many media outlets and newspapers as I can as I feel they stole my money and did not in any way try to resolve the issue I believe I have consumer rights and will somehow expose the ungenuineness of this rogue company . It was my first time purchasing from your website and I will not buy from You again I will also advice all my friends and family and social media family to never but from your company Yours sincerely

Absolutely garbage. Sell you stuff that’s still in China then when you realise and try to cancel they will not do it. Forced to receive a parcel I tried to cancel 10 times. Avoid at all cost.

Flimsy product stick out to far not suitable for a cottage Tried to send back they kept offering 10% Then 20% When I gave up and said I’ll accept 20% they then said not possible A week of emails what a waste of time would not buy again from these

Awful. I didn't get my product ordered by 09/01/22, I did pay, they took money straiaways, and nobody notice I didn't get my product. I have to wait 45 days and then trying to contact them asking Where is my order? Then they answered back that my order doesont arrive. But they didn't let me know until I asked them. Custumer service person was adresing me like he is doing any favour for me! I don't tolerated such things . As much I pay! Never buy again from Onbuy!

Ordered some perfume the weekend before Christmas. Due to be delivered 23rd to 24th. Never arrived. I know this because I was off work and at home on these days due to catching covid. Tried multiple times to contact seller. Never heard back, contacted PayPal, seller claims item was delivered. Liars and scammers. Will never use again

Would be giving 0 if I could! Bought 2 bottles of shampoo as it was being discontinued. Advert showed 1 liter bottles, bottles were actually 300ml! Messaged them about this and they were rude, refused to refund and when they did offer a refund (for only one of the bottles) they wanted me to pay the shipping back to Rome!

Bought an item end of December, 3 weeks delivery, didn't arrive, OnBuy are ignoring my messages, on the tracking system the item was never even dispatched, but they still have my money!!! Absolutely disgusting company.

Placed an order on 10/12 for a laptop.Fortunately through PayPal pay in 3.After a week past expected delivery date tried to cancel.This was the only time I had any reply.Said item is currently out of stock and did I want to wait.I agreed but still waiting and order was listed as cancelled.Have just cancelled through PayPal.Extreme lack of communication,will never order anything through them again

I bought a toaster kettle kitchen towel holder and mug tree. After using the mug tree and kitchen towel holder for a couple of weeks the gold trim around the edge has started to come away . I messaged seller and asked for refund for the whole set and no liability was being accepted. First and last time I use onbuy.com. I wanted to send the whole set back and asked for a refund as did not have any faith left in their products.

I bought some Aftershave from DJ BARGAINS last November. The item never arrived and when I contacted the seller he told me that I had to claim through PayPal as he had insufficient funds in his account to release the item to me. I told him that it was not my responsibility to do it as he had my payment from my visa debit card instantly. I was never refunded the money. I suggest you avoid the seller. Very disappointed.

Bought 2 radiator covers and 1 had a missing part. As I had gone over the 6mth return policy before opening the box they will not refund or replace or even just send the missing part. No customer service support at all. So instead of sending a small part I am having to throw out a brand new radiator cover as it’s no use and buy another. I definetly WONT be buying from onbuy again.

Scammed me. No product arrived at all but money taken out of PayPal when I order November 14th. Do not use them. They need to close the website down. No contact made at all despite me contacting them - no help given. The seller was Kelai - do not use!!!

I ordered something on the 15th of November 2021, it is now the 7th of January 2022 and my item is nowhere to be seen. I messaged the seller many times, all ignored. I raised this with OnBuy, all ignored.

Ordered an item for Christmas on 17th December due to arrive before Christmas Day…still waiting…no reply from seller or Onbuy despite many messages… steer well clear !

Ordered a glass bauble from seller 'kasabona' via onbuy said delivery was prior to Xmas but item never received, ignored 3 messages and refund request. Had to open PayPal dispute before it was quickly resolved. I don't think I will use onbuy again.
