“DO NOT BUY FROM SOUTH AFRICA BRANCH!!!!! I Bought Thousands of Rands Parts through Nkosi (The sales person) at Online Car Parts for my Nissan Navara, they didnt have the Viscous fan and blade in stock so he requested that I get refunded for it, this was on 4 November 2024, as of today I have emailed them, phoned them, everytime their manager (Naideen) promises me that she will pay it over, but they do NOT do it!! It is now 2 Desember 2024, I WILL NOT Recommend any1 to buy from this company, u will lose money!!! They are a bunch of BullShi****s! My Sales Ref. Code is: NM01, my Refund amount: R3090”
“Absolutely shocking company. Take your money. Change the part you've ordered due to being out of stock. Saying I've placed 2 orders. Only one has been pain yet I pain for the parts on one order. Struggling to get out money back. FRAUD!!!!!@”
“The part came damaged but they offered me only 6£ refund, saying that the part still can be used and the damage was done during the Transport (like I do care or is my fault?).Anyway, I will make sure not to use you this company in future and I would not recommend it to anyone”
“Very poor company. No email confirmation. Money left bank quick enough but no update on arrival and no response to request for delivery update. Not a hugely expensive part but £25 wasted. Now going through bank to recover money. Seriously don’t use and look for better provider, particularly if you are preparing for a specific service or MOT date”
“Exactly the same as all these other reviews.. how do companies like this get away with this kind of Terrible service ... It's clear they just rake in money for parts n keep hold of it until you really have to take legal action ...thank god I've paid with PayPal”
“Dates : January - May
I put in my registration into the generator to find the correct headlight for my car, I ordered one costing over £200 and began to fit it as I fitted it and tried it out and the running lights was faulty and wasn’t working, therefore I emailed them with photo and video evidence and was told to send the headlight back and request a refund. Weeks went by and hadn’t heard a thing so I called them myself and was told they had not received the parcel yet. Another month went by and I contacted them myself again about the refund and was promised I would get a full refund 3-5 working days, as the 5 days was over I had not received anything so had to contact them back myself and was told I would not be getting a refund because there was a couple fitting marks in the back of the headlight, ( how am I meant to know the headlight works without fitting it?) and was told no one told me I would get a refund and there was no evidence of that phone call ever existing even though I have the time and date of the phone call but was told it never happened. After being on the phone going round in circles I was offered £9.99 back for sending the parcel out of the over £200 I paid for a faulty lamp. A Month went by (4 months after the first email ) and have just received the same faulty lamp that I originally sent back to get a refund but with some parts missing from the headlight. Absolutely disgrace of a car parts company and should be ashamed of themselves not only not getting a refund but getting the same faulty lamp with parts missing so I can’t do anything with.”
“I ordered a throttle body part for my vehicle and the part was fitted by my local garage which unfortunately has turned out to be faulty. I contacted the company to let them know and use the warranty. They took a lengthy time to respond and their responses were unprofessional and lacked advice / information.
After having to continuously chase the company via email I finally received an email confirming they have dispatched a new part (I’m yet to receive this as it can take up to 6 working days).
When I raised my issue I also included the invoice for diagnosing, dismantling and installing the initial part to claim the expenses back due to the fact I will have to repay for the exact same diagnosis again when the new part arrives. I am yet to receive an update on this (8 working days after my I shared the invoice, I was advised it takes 48 hours).
I have chased again and the company have replied with a poorly worded email trying to say they need a dismantling invoice only, which I believe is not fair as I’m trying to claim back the cost for the full job as I will have to pay this twice. The company are yet to reply following my response, however I do not have much hope as so far their responses have been holding emails that are rude and have multiple spelling / grammatical errors and they are extremely unhelpful.
I am praying this new part is working and not faulty so I can have my vehicle back and hopefully they will issue a refund for my claim so I don’t have to deal with them again and have any extra stress from them.
I would not recommend them at all and I regret ordering from there.
Please don’t order and fall into the same trap I have with them, it’s not worth the stress and time.”
“I ordered a part giving the part number. The wrong one was sent from Germany. They reviewed the issue and claimed they had sent the correct part despite it having a different part number. I then had to pay postage back to Berlin if I wanted to return it so was cheaper to just keep it. I even sent pictures of the part. The one I ordered had one dial and the part I received had two dials. Completely out of order and will never use them again”
“Do not buy from these people, they supply wrong parts and when you return them they refuse to give you a refund asking for information they have been given several times even though they have signed for receipt of the items. 2 months after returning wrongly supplied goods they still have not refunded me. Gone to credit card supplier to chase under section 25.”
“Apparantly, using their catalogue and their registration check "I" ordered a part for a left hand drive car.
It is pure coincidence that i ordered a front and the manufacturers packaging says rear...
On email ?20? So far of a torturous returns process after I was warned that cancelling the contract meant they had no obligation to rectify their mistake.
If it was a mistake”
“I ordered a wing mirror cover and input the vehicle registration number for the correct part. Unfortunately, it was not the correct part as there wasn't a cutout for the indicator. When I went back to query this, I received an email stating that the 'search on our website gives only approximate results and the checking according to the car's details doesn't guarantee the suitability and the purchasing according to the car's details is at your responsibility'.
I'm sorry? Notwithstanding the near incomprehensible babble (the service agents aren't English speakers – it's a German operation), they appeared to be suggesting that the vehicle registration look-up does not select parts that fit the vehicle searched.
Wow.
Apparently, the online search function should be ignored in favour of providing them with the VIN code/chassis number (17 letters+digits) or the original part numbers (OEM) of the required car parts.
Mystifyingly, they advised 'we don't accept the car parts if their design or specifications were changed from the initiall one when they were delivered.'
Answers on a postcard please because I haven't got a clue what that means at all.
In short, a shoddy site that will take your money and run.
AVOID.”
“No mention that this is part of Autodoc based in Germany. When the order is placed they tell you that your tracking will be available within 24h- fair enough- then they tell you that the delivery will be 6 days later. Not much use if you have a vehicle off road.”
“Ordered parts on the 3rd, tracking provided after 4days but no progress on the tracking. Contacted the courier (Evri) who said items had not been dispatched from the vendor and that they were waiting to collect.
Contacted customer services at onlinecarparts by email with this information and got a reply saying I needed to wait another 6-9days!
Paid a premium for delivery too of over £8 for this shambles.”
“It appears Onlinecarparts.co.uk have links to AUTODOC, a firm with many bad reviews. I paid Onlinecarparts.co.uk 10 days ago for 2 rear suspensiion springs, but nothing has been delivered. Evri/Hermes have given me a tracking number, but they can't find my parcel. I've just ordered more springs from a company on ebay because i'm not confident i'll ever get what i ordered from Onlinecarparts.co.uk/AUTODOC.”
“Avoid complete waste of time and money, ordered part for right hand drive supplied the part number they sent correct part but for a left hand drive car , emailed them no reply .”
“without doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with!
1. Don’t be fooled by the .co.uk domain name and uk sterling prices. Parts are shipped from overseas. My parcel took over a week to arrive.
2. Don’t be fooled by the registration based parts identification functionality of the website. My parts didn’t fit. According to the small print this was my fault as I didn’t check oem numbers. onlinecarparts would not cover the cost of the return
3. Don’t expect a refund. Had to chase several times and then provide proof of delivery. Was told a refund would be actioned, then after chasing 5 days later the story changed to not having received the parts, and then the story changed again to the parts needing to be inspected. So 5 weeks later, still no refund, and have put in a section 75 claim via my credit card company.
4. Do yourself a favour, and just order from euro car parts!”
“waited too long for parts, paid £11 for delivery to online parts .They used evri parcel company and their charge for that size parcel is only £3/4. If you pay £11 for delivery you would think with being a parts company they would use a quicker Service waiting only 6 days for parts is not very good”
