“I've been an open studio member for about 2 weeks now, and am currently taking the "5-minute ear training" and "jazz piano jump start" classes. This format of instruction has clear advantages over traditional in-person private lessons. I've done a couple of stints studying jazz piano in the past, and, although I always made an audio tape of the lesson, it left me thinking how great it would be to have that audio synced with overhead video of the keyboard. Open Studio checks that box. The guided practice sessions are great at combining a lesson with a practice methodology. Being able to stop and shed during the lesson is also a plus. Thanks for putting this together.”

“I've been following you on Open Studio for months. What made me sign up was a couple of Peter Martin short videos - brief, interesting and to the point. I though, these are the courses for me. Not been disappointed at all... great lessons, quality and to the point, easy to follow, really enjoying Deep Diving around all the courses and applying your advice to my playing. I've only been with you guys (and gals?) a month or so but things are beginning to stick! Keep up the good work!”

“Can't recommend Open Studio enough! For those who don't have access to in-person instruction or can't afford it regularly (like myself) this is the place to be to make the kind of progress that you're after. “After tossing up in my mind the option of several interesting online Jazz tutors, I opted for Open Studio last week and am now convinced I made the right choice. Entertaining, easy to follow, very professionally presented, produced and edited.
