“Can't say enough good things about Open Studio and their teachers. As a guitarist trying to learn more and improve on piano, these lessons have been super helpful. If you like wirting/creating chord progessions, the Harmony Games course presents some awesome/advanced concepts in ways that are easy to understand with tons of examples provided to practice. Highly recommend!”

“My personal journey started by fortuitously stumbling on Peter Martin's 2 minutes Jazz Piano. The same spirit of immediate relevance and applicability permeates the whole philosophy of OSJ. Adam Maness' GPS (what a great double entendre acronyme) really help anchor concepts and lessons. My key personal insight (easy to understand for a multi-lingual Swiss): as for languages you don't learn Jazz by reading but by playing. Overall a very broad and diverse source of insights and learnings by a world-class faculty with the declared intention to pass on knowledge to students.”

“Relatively new to Jazz piano. Life long blues devotee but have always wanted to explore Jazz. Took advantage of Peter’s birthday special and couldn’t be happier. I’ve become a big fan of Open Studio. Having access to Jazz concepts and techniques and having it explained in an accessible way and from fantastic players is inspiring. So thanks to Adam and Peter for opening the door to a form I’ve loved listening to most of my life and finally taken the plunge into learning to play it. Zuie Australia”

“My 11y daughter started the Open Studio piano courses and lessons, and is really great! Everything is simply well-structured, easy to understand even for a 11y kid, with support material, and each lesson has a dinamic score, virtual piano, and other instruments that help make it easy to understand. And the lessons with Peter Martim and Adam Maness are superb and really fun! My daughter is loving it, I'm just an enthusiast and I'm following her teaching, I'm very happy with the method and I'm glad I chose Open Studio! Thank you Peter and Adam.”

“Open Studio is the perfect platform resource for intermediate players or beginners who know enough theory. As a Berklee grad that's picking up piano, I appreciate being able to reference certain concepts and skills that I'm familiar with and not having to pick through long explanations of music theory that I already know to do it. I think that the organization of concepts could use a bit more work, but overll solid 9/10.”
