“Very well done. Also subscribe to the very well done Piano with Jonny and use both but find myself using OS more often. Enjoy Adam Manis lessons very much. Deeper dives into jazz theory it seems. Maybe I haven't looked thorougly enough but would like to see ability to transpose the "lesson" material to other keys which is a feature of PWJ.”

“I've been playing for many decades, poorly, 90% self-taught. Open Studio is my online campus, majoring in piano jazz, that let me start in a 'community college' atmosphere for beginnner-intermediates like me, but allows folks to move up to be part of a community of pros and semi-pros taking courses and live group sessions with top tier teachers at a top tier school. Whether you get to level 4 obviously depends on your effort and talent. After 9 months, I'm very satisfied and getting more satisfaction and joy playing my old repetoire on days after a good practice session based on lessons from level 2 or 3 courses. I really had fun and was inspired listening to Bob DeBoo's hour heads-up survey on 1/8/2025 of the many OS lessons and lectures on Thelonious Monk, but I'll stay focused on Adam's Block Chord course.”

“I had a long time searching for a school that gave me all the tools I need to become a better musician and finally found it at Open Studio Pro, I mean multiple classes everyday? And honestly the cost is totally worth it! And leaving the classes behind, their catalogue is so immense, they really have YEARS of knowledge that it’s almost overwhelming!”
