“Overall I had a very good experience selling my home to Open Door. It was an easy recess and people were flexible along the way. My only complaint is that I felt the required repairs were a bit steep for this type of business model. They did end up charging me for things that I assumed would be absorbed by them (such as landscaping like trimming trees and mowing the lawn). But, I definitely would recommend Open Door as an alternative to traditional home selling options.”

“I cannot say enough positive things about Opendoor. They are very good at what they do, and make the process of selling your house hassle free. If I ever have another house to sell, I will absolutely use Opendoor. My brother-in-law has a rental home he wants to sell. I told him about Opendoor and he has been in contact with them. “Open Door made the home selling process so easy. I needed to change my closing date twice and it was very straight forward. Not having to do any of the repairs and choosing to have Open Door take care of it all was a huge relief! Everything was stress free! I would totally sell to them again in a heartbeat! “We knew Opendoor helped distressed homeowner, because we witnessed it in our neighborhood. We explored selling to them because we had toddlers in our home and didn't want to deal with keeping the house "showable" until we sold it. We also knew we needed to paint and replace carpeting. Opendoor offered us a market price (a little lower than we would have listed), only charged us a small percentage of the selling price for administrative costs (less than a real estate commission), there were very few costs on our part, and the closing was a breeze. Throughout the experience, I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop - it never did. They even moved the closing date for us twice while we searched for our new home. I would cheerfully do this again!”

“Best offer in comparison to Zillow and Offer Pad. I ended up getting just as much cash as I would have ended up with if I sold my home for the price we lowered it to after being listed over 3 months. I only wish I would have done it sooner and avoided the open houses, failed contracts, and realtors.”

“Everyone at Opendoor was very professional with the purchase of our home. Beginning with the people you talk to on the phone and never see to the people that come to your house to inspect it, everyone was fantastic. All were willing to answer questions and help in anyway possible . If I were going to sell my home again I would definitely use Opendoor. A very big thank you from my family to Opendoor.”

“I wanted to sell my home and thought I would give opendoor a try because it seemed like a great concept... I submitted my info and was offered more for what I thought my home was worth so that was a pleasant surprise...then they came by and inspected my house and let me know specifically what needed to be repaired and gave me the opportunity to fix it or let them just deduct it from my offer which I went ahead and did because the cost was very fair and reasonable. Then we just closed the sale and everything was so fast and smooth like it all went down within a two week period! Irene was there with me on every step of the process and everything I mean everything was simple and transparent! I am so happy and satisfied with Opendoor and would really recommend this to everyone hands down! Also Anitra, Michelle, Chris and Jennifer from O'Kelley & Sorohan the closing lawfirm that was used were fantastic and very helpful making sure my closing happened when they said they would. Opendoor deserves 100 stars because this was the most simple, honest, profitable, transparent, stress-free deal I have ever made in my life! This is going to be the future of real estate!”

“Everything went as smoothly as possible from the start to the finish. Whatever they told us to start with happened as scheduled with us having full control of every aspect of the process that could be possible. My wife and I are very happy with Opendoor and would strongly recommend it to anyone that wants to make transferring properties absolutely painless. Great communication thru out the process and no surprises. Thanks again for your professionalism and helping explain some of the finer points when questioned.”

“Refuse to fix known issues and has been an absolute nightmare. Always a delay and excuse. Has been over a month of lies half truths, and delays to sell and not disclose damages.”

“I was kind of leery of this whole process when we got a quote from open door, but everything went very smoothly and I am very happy with the outcome. We opted to not do the requested repairs ($800 worth), and the amount was just subtracted from our proceeds. The funds were wired about an hour after we closed and signed all the paperwork. It was the right choice for us and I am very pleased.”

“Very professional, offer was appropriate. They did not overcharge for repairs and were very fair. I haven't closed yet but I expect it to be a smooth process. I think this is the way of the future. Having to show your house and have strangers trapping through it and the inconvenience, is not for me! There are a couple other companies. which are also doing this, and I checked them out and the experience was not good or close to fair!”

“I first went with opendoor because I was so nervous about selling my house. I went with a realtor at first, but then when I found out I was going to have to fix this, update that, stage for showing, etc, I actually started doing all these things and I was exhausted. I spent some money on updates like fixtures, etc. then I remembered the landscaping and I decided I wasn’t going to continue. So I called Opendoor, they set me up with an appointment to inspect my home, they sent me some paperwork via email, I finished all that was required. after the inspection I found that there was a few thousand dollars in repairs needed. So I looked at the detailed report and signed off on it. The closing was simple, I showed up, signed everything and had the money in my account the following day. No wait, No gimmicks, No showings, hangups, just straight forward business and one and done. I totally recommend.”
