“My customer success agent was so nice, knowledgeable, thorough, and responsive. The whole process was so easy, we kept asking ourselves, “what’s the catch?” We received a very reasonable offer, the contract process was easy, and we didn’t even have to leave our house to close! It was great not having the stress of showings and worry about touching of every inch of our house to make it market-ready. Opendoor was referred to be my a colleague and I have been telling everyone I know about how great it is! It’s definitely the way to go.”

“I was looking to sell my condo fast and Opendoor seem to be a good option to sell it fast. Opendoor offer was $152,000 less than want I ended up selling it for in just 3 weeks. If everyone is looking to deal with them, just get a second opinion from a realtor.”

“Very easy and fair! Our house had a good amount of TLC needed, and we still feel like we received a very fair price. Compared to other buy-as-is companies that claim they don't charge closing costs or commission fees, opendoor does charge for both and also deducts for what they estimate will be the fix-it-up costs. However, we still received about 60k-80k more than what those other companies were offering! They were super communicative and worked around the clock to answer questions and help quicken the process to aid with the timeline of us putting an offer on a new home.”

“Experience this far has been disappointing! Working with Leori has been challenging, as her demeanor has often come across as rude and inconsiderate. These interactions have hindered our progress, particularly since I am representing a buyer in this transaction. There has been lack of communication and transparency from Leori regarding repairs. It appears that the company prefers to operate exclusively according to their own terms which appear to be bias, and has further complicated the process.”

“First and most surprising was that my home was priced well above what my realtor suggested.. If you need to buy a house with a contingency of sale, Opendoor makes it very simple. Beginning to end it was unbearably easy.”

“Its so dumb they charge a service and comission fee. They didn't list the house they paid cash for it and closed like 2 days after I called and got an offer. Also they did not tell me about the any fees when i got my offer which was thousands of dollars! I would understand if they listed it and had people come look and had to deal with realtors but they didn't. I did a virtual walkthrough on zoom and got an offer a day or 2 later and the deal was done. I know they lowball everyone. They took advantage of the fact I needed to sell it immediately. My mom was going to lose her house after my dad died so I had to sell mine immediately to buy hers. So I will give opendoor that they are big enough to cash you out as soon as you want but your gonna lose 10 percent of the value immediately and then more hidden costs. Im giving 2 stars because I was able to sell right away and help my mom but only 2 stars because I know I lost alot of money.”

“I had a wonderful experience with Opendoor! They were able to give me the market value of my home. It was way more than what I had paid to have it built in 2012! It was quite an easy process. I didn’t have to go through a traditional sale with a realtor and having people walk through my house. I didn’t have to spend a ton of money fixing up my house in order to get ready for the sale. They just bought it as is. I got a chance to see the makeover afterwards and they did a beautiful job with new paint, carpeting, minor deck repair and other aesthetic retouches. I highly recommend Opendoor! Thank you Samantha Petr, our sales specialist!”

“Customer service was outstanding with a seamless process. The only downside is you have to be willing to take a loss. For me it was worth it as I didn't have to deal with realtor showings and wondering when house would sell while building a new home. Fund's received timely as promised, my contact person was above and beyond not to mention how very professional everyone was. The stress was minimal. All in all would do it again for sure. Highly recommend.”

“The service was as simple and straightforward as advertised. I could not imagine a simpler way to sell my home. My home needed a lot of cosmetic work and was impossible to show due to over 10 pets roaming the halls. Open Door perfectly met our needs and bought as is for a fair price. Only one person ever came to visit and walk thru.”

“Best experience from start to finish. Very professional people at every level, the title company and closing was incredible. It is worth the fees and the app makes everything easy. I recommend to anyone! Late checkout option was a life saver. Got my security deposit back as promised.”

“We were moving and wanted to use our equity as the down in our new home. OpenDoor removed all of the uncertainty from that, allowing us to lose prior to the purchase of our new home. They removed the necessity for the minor improvements needed to sell, and allowed us to dictate our schedule. We even saved money on the move by moving ourselves over a few weeks. Excellent.”
