“We moved to Florida a few years ago, but kept our home in Charlotte, NC. We saw the online ads for Opendoor and on a whim completed the questionnaire to request an offer. Opendoor was very responsive, getting back to us in less than a day with a fair offer. We decided not to sell at that time however. Fast forward to a few months later and we were ready to sell our home. We contacted Opendoor once more, and received an offer that was slightly higher than initially quoted, and the service charge % was slightly lower. We had read several reviews, seen the comments on social media, and held our breath after signing the contract. The home condition assessment was scheduled on the day/time of our choosing and the results were sent to us just a few days afterwards. We were pleasantly surprised. There was nothing out of the ordinary, no unreasonable requests for repair, and we were given the option having the repairs completed ourselves, or taking a deduction from the offer price and Opendoor handling. We elected to allow Opendoor to handle the few repairs. We were able to set our closing date on a date that met our needs, and since we were out of state we were able to handle closing via mail-away/notary. The process could not have been easier. On the actual closing day, we received the final close documents and the money was wired to our account by mid-afternoon. We highly recommend Opendoor for consideration when selling your home. We will definitely use them again should we decide to sell another property. Tony and Linda Raby”

“I utilized Opendoor for the sale of my home. I consulted a traditional realtor and requested an offer from Opendoor concurrently. Opendoor’s offer was very competitive. I decided to go with Opendoor and am so happy that I did. From start to finish, the Opendoor team did everything they said they would do, and they did it when they said they would. Every person I worked with was courteous, professional, timely, and amazing! I am still in shock because I actually enjoyed the home selling process with Opendoor. No showings, I picked the close date, and didn’t have to worry that the buyer would be able to close. If you are thinking of giving Opendoor a try, you should definitely do so, you really have nothing to lose as they have no upfront charges and you can cancel at any time. I will certainly utilize Opendoor in the future and will recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you Opendoor for changing the real estate process for the better.”

“I will be honest, I was really skeptical about using Opendoor. But as a single mother doing the necessary repairs and keeping the home spotless for showings was far too stressful. Everything went very smoothly to the point I questioned whether something was going to happen at closing. The closing was exactly what they told me it would be. I would recommend Opendoor to anyone!”

“I would simply like to say it was an awesome experience working with Opendoor.. No Hassles of showings or a fixed closing date.. All the agents we worked with were very nice and professional. Since we were buying a new home our closing got delayed by months. We wanted the funds from selling our home towards our new purchase and the cordination was very easy. Opendoor was very very flexible in moving the closing date without any hassles. They suggested minimal repairs. Although the offer price was a little less than matket but it was worth it for that kind of experience in selling the home. The home was sold on the closing date we decided and funds were transferred immediately on same day. Overall We would definitely recommend opendoor if someone is looking to sell their home without any hassle.”

“Xavier Torres & Caitlin Teves were the definition of perfection in professionalism! Opendoor has revolutionized the home sale experience. We originally thought we'd be moving from Las Vegas to Maine in Oct 2018. Our business venture fell thru & we had to cancel the 1st offer. Xavier was very understanding. However, we purchased a business in Missouri on Nov 3. We renewed & accepted our offer Nov 5. We had a small glitch with the brokerage team and our offer price. Due to a software mishap, my offer was reduced $5,500 from the time I received it to the moment I hit the "accept offer" button. Xavier worked diligently over the weekend to change the offer back to the original offer, but the brokerage team wouldn't budge. Since it was not my fault the computer system was faulty, Xavier was able to adjust our required list of repairs after the walk thru to reflect the reduction in offer price. We have a 14 yr old 2280 sq ft home. On our ENTIRE list of possible repairs, inside & outside the home, the ONLY item we were docked on was carpet/flooring for less than $4,300. Not a SINGLE OTHER item was listed for out of pocket charges! We've lived here over 10 years & we have a Great Dane & 3 American Pit Bull Terriers. We assumed our "fix it list" would be much larger. Thanks to Xavier, he was able to keep his word & offset the brokerage team's mistake for us. Caitlin was in charge of all our docs for closing. Thanks for answering all my questions by email, phone, & text! Every single time I reached out to my team, they responded. Even on WEEKENDS! This is THE BEST OPTION on the market for home buying & selling!!!! My funds were wired directly into my account the same day we closed. It was a completely seamless & stressless transaction compared to traditional home sales & took less than 2 weeks all together. My 81 yr old father lives in Minneapolis/St Paul & I've encouraged him to use your service there. He needs to move out of his current home into a smaller, single story, but has delayed the process due to the home sale/buying hassle. I believe he will be looking into this service too! Thank you, Xavier & Caitlin & everyone at our title company in Vegas for an AWESOME TOP NOTCH EXPERIENCE!”

So, we know from experience that selling a home through conventional real estate brokerage model can be a painful, frustrating and agonizing experience, especially if you have children. Selling our home through/to Open Door model was a refreshing, painless and a pleasant experience. “When I first started the process, I was a bit skeptical about selling a home directly to Opendoor. Now that I have completed the process and I can honestly say that I was stressing for no reason. Entering my home information online for the assessment and offer was extremely easy and just took a few minutes. The offer was sent quickly, and I was amazed. I thought I would get an offer well below market value, but that was not the case. Then I was concerned that the home inspection would list hundreds of repairs to reduce my net offer further. Again, that was not the case, and I was worrying for no reason. When the final closing took place, and all paperwork signed, I worried that the fund's transfer would not happen. Despite a situation with the County Title office closing early before a Holiday weekend, the fund's transfer took place a few days later when the County finally processed the paperwork. However, Opendoor did all they could to reassure me that everything would move ahead. Thank you, Lisa McGill, and all the people at Opendoor for making this the easiest home sale ever!”

“Our experience with Opendoor was great! Everything went extremely smooth and very easy. I will let you know that if are working with a realtor and then you decide to go with Opendoor and your realtor wants to help you through the process for your best interest. DON'T DO IT!!! My wife and i learned this the hard way. All you are doing at that point is throwing away money that could be in your pocket. I would definitely recommend Opendoor to all of my family, friends, and neighbors.”

“We decided to sell our house the unconventional way and chose opendoor . The process was easy and everybody we dealt with was professional and very nice. We received a fair price for our house and was able to choose our own move out date as we were waiting for our new place to be built. A lot less stress selling a house this way, glad we did .”

“This has to have been the most unexpected outcome in our real estate history. We heard about opendoor and thought it was just another realtor trying to list our house. We were surprised to find out that the company business model is amazing. I work from home and we have a dog so in the past it would be so inconvenient having to leave the house for showings and use my lunch break up for people who would end up as no shows. Opendoor solved this issue for us while offering us a very good offer for our house. From the moment we asked Jeremy Garriott from opendoor to call us on a Sunday because we had so many questions about the process and he promptly called and spent over an hour with us grilling him question after question. We needed to wait to find a new house before fully committing to the offer and renewed our offer several times. We finally found our dream home and went full speed ahead with the sale of the house. The inspection process all the way up to the closing was handled so professionally. My wife and I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and something to go wrong but it never happened. We closed right after Thanksgiving and rented our house back for a few days until we closed and were able to move into our new home. Opendoor is truly pioneering the way real estate is handled and we humbly thank them for helping make our experience so amazingly simple.”

“I have to admit that I was skeptical when I first got started. I figured that opendoor was going to give a low offer and was pleasantly surprised when I received a current market offer and then their low fees listed immediately. All was very transparent and no last minute "oops" and the whole process went very fast. Actually everything was happening way faster than I expected, though there was always the option to adjust closing dates. Long story short, this is definitely a new way to sell your home and I highly recommend opendoor. Thank you, Dan”
