Booked flights through opodod - went to input passport info with the airline and the airline is not recognising the tickets and will not let me input my passport details - so therefore I cant use the tickets. Opodo simply keep saying deal with airline directly. Sadly I booked flights months ago. Do not use the company.

My flight was cancelled by the airline. The airline told me they could not put me on another flight, I'd have to go through Opodo a the 3rd party needs to organise it... oh dear... that's when the fun began. First of all, it is not easy getting the customer service help number, as you will see yourself. Secondly, they provide no help at all. When you do speak to someone they promise to get back to you within 48 hours... then you receive some nonsensical email with no help or direction. My favourite emails were ones that had been copied and pasted from a template and contained lines like 'INSERT COMPANY NAME HERE'. There were others which contained frequent spelling errors of common words... generally the email writers seemed to be very lazy: 'Kindly note that no avail flight for the date 23 APR to Londra Regno Unito for the same time requested . In case you need anther information regurding the booking ,please call us back .' See ⬆⬆ And so you call back again, for the 4th time that week and are told 🥁🥁🥁🥁 we will get back to you within 48 hours. The customer service operator was amazed when they told me there were no flights on the date that I wanted and I replied that there were... you see I had Opodo and Skyscanner and British Airways open on my screen and I could see that there were flights. Eventually, as the flight date drew near, the customer service operator I was speaking to that day said, and I paraphrase: As the deadline for the flight is approaching, may I suggest you get a refund? Ah! So that was the trick? Although, I notice online that getting a refund from Opodo/eDreams is like trying to get blood from a stone... So, summary? Opodo/eDreams are scammers. Avoid like the plague!

Scam company. Tell lies and take fraudulent payments from your bank account. Tried to canx my opodo subscription within the free 30 days trial. Opodo then blamed me for canx incorrectly???? Have tried to get refund so now its a dispute with my bank. Don't use this company

Appalling customer service - informed us multiple times our flight (Budapest to UK) had been cancelled (so we booked with another carrier) only to find out it had not and opodo wanted nothing to do with it even though they openly admitted they made a mistake - they then told us to cancel our other flight and to date have refused to pay the cancellation fee. Still dealing with customer services who just do not want to know. They take your money but no ownership of the travel arrangements. Please avoid at all costs. Having checked their T&C your contract is not with them its with the carrier and they play no part (even if they tell you a flight has been cancelled, when it has not)

ref/ 6872332238 case number for refund 2282100 it has now been 18 months since i requested refund from opodo/edreams they ignore all my emails impossible to contact them by phone it was the airline that canceled my flight they assure me that a refund was sent to opodo/edreams yet they do NOT refund me this company is a complete scam never book anything with opodo/edreams and please warn as many people as you can about this scam

Horrendous customer service, accepted an American Express payment online but then wouldn't accept it when I went to collect the car. Won't provide a refund even though we didn't even take the car in the end. Used Enterprise cars in the end who were fantastic. Kind representatives and so helpful.

''Arrived to the UK as an Ukranian refugee, needed a transport urgently to our family. I paid £57 for a one day rental so we can sleep in bed not at the airport. My card was not accepted for deposit to take the car and the Opodo charged me £42 for cancelling. All this happened in 20 minutes from the payment. Opodo do not care about people well being, people well fare, even if you have very little money left, they will happily take that as well...''

The worst customer service ever. I contacted them multiple times for a refund, every time I had to wait an hour to get in contact with an agent. Furthermore, the last time they delayed my request. I cancelled my trip in December and now it’s April and still not refund! Horrible! Avoid it!

How I wish I'd read the reviews before booking with Opodo. They truly are a bunch of crooks. Booked a flight and hotel with them. The hotel claimed you could cancel right up to 2 days before staying. I had to cancel the trip. Today I find out that I won't receive any money back for the flight and the refund on the hotel will be 23 euros!! Total joke. I raised this with the agent who called me and hesaid that was what I'd get back. I'd booked the hotel for 3 nights!!! They said I get the refund back in 10 days time! I will email the hotel and raise this with them. I doubt I'll even see the 23 euros what an insult. Never ever again. When I've had to cancel train tickets in the past it has never been a problem. Its put me off travelling out of the UK. I'll stick to holidays here.

Do not book with opodo No accountability from their customers service I paid €1000 more than other European customers there Flight delayed 10 hours 0 accountability Lost one night at hotel No accountability Hôtel not as described ? Not a 5 stars but a 4 ) food very average Not all inclusive Etc etc

Absolute scam company, paid for one flight, they booked the flight in the wrong direction! Trying to get a refund/compensation but zero luck. Now I have to book the holiday at much higher prices. I've never come across such appalling service before.

I had travelled a lot, with various airlines and to many countries, but never ever have I encountered such bad service. Paid for my return flights to Bucharest-London, downloaded the Opodo App and received the Confimration for my flights. Requested the boarding passes on the App. Only to arrive at the airport and be told that the check in and boarding passes have not been processed and I have to pay for it in the airport. £71 for 2 people. Called Opodo Customer Services to discuss the matter, only to be told that my return flights HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED!!! Therefore, I was in the Londona report waiting for my flight outbound and just been told that I have no way back home! The agent offered to issue a refund...and that was it! DO NOT BOOK WITH OPODO! This company is a scam. I will take this matter further, for sure.

@opodo your a shameful and cheating company, lying and hiding under a poor Indian call centre. I was told I have an open ticket after cancelling my ticket. Now I’m told it's not valid! Cheat and lying. I will let all my network know.#opodo #turkishairlines #DanaDunne #airlines

Absolute scam company. They lure you onto their website with cheap prices. Once you have typed in all you passenger data and literally click onto the pay button, a pop-up window appears saying " You are so close... Your flight prices have just increased to X". I have gone through their site multiple times (having a cheap price in my basket to begin with) and I can say with certainty that this has been programmed. Nothing has increased; it's just a tactic to get you onto their site, type in all your data and then purchase the price at a premium because you can't be bothered to go to another website and type in everything again. Everyone on your team who has designed and coded this should be ashamed. You have zero ethics and morale!

I bought 5 opodo tickets in August 2020 and the flights was canceled and now it's April 2022 and I still haven't received any money back and no other flights

Booked a Christmas break with them and paid for Insurance and to be a prime member. They cancelled my outbound flights without authorisation but still charged me for inbound. It’s been 4 months and still no refund even though they promised me the money would be back in my account the next day. I’ve raised it with my bank and the response has been the inbound flight was unaffected. How can we get back if we didn’t even go. The bank has advised me that Opodo continue to take out Opodo prime without consent and they won’t return it so they kindly blocked Opodo to protect my account. I’ve called them today and asked why they are not just simply returning my money. I reckon they may go busy any minute. They are just accumulating funds before they do so please be warned and don’t use them or easyJet for anything.

OPODO (eDreams) - THE WORST TRAVEL EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Avoid OPODO eDreams at all cost! Yes OPODO have cheap flights but that’s because they book you on 14hr stopovers without telling you then when you try to change the flight ask for an additional £400 per person. Not only that but you will never get anyone helpful on the phone as the OPODO call centre is in India and they read from a script. Further still if OPODO says expect a call back in 24hour, please don’t expect a call back! EVER!! I was expecting a call back a week prior to my trip, I called them daily and every time was told I’d get a callback in 24 hours, it never came. In the end went on my trip and phoned them daily to try to get the flight changed. The trip was ruined by this as I was constantly worrying I would not get home in time and would incur additional travel and stop over costs. Costs I could not afford. OPODO eDreams did not call me back or update my flight to the one I originally booked; with a 50 minute stopover (not 14hours). On the last day of the trip and after 10-20 phone calls I gave up on OPODO which is what they wanted me to do! OPODO eDreams said they were trying to get hold of the airline but in reality were stalling for time so I had to go on the flight they incorrectly booked me on. OPODO are so unwilling to help - they are simply making up the money they missed out on during the covid situation, regardless of the customer experience. In the end I went direct to Austria Airlines who changed the flight without fuss or additional charge within minutes which proves OPODO were lying and unwilling to help from the very beginning. Avoid disappointment, stress and anxierty and leave OPODO well alone!!!!
