“The overall results from having had eye laser treatment have been amazing. My range of vision is the most notable enhancement to my vison. Last week on a fantasticaly clear pre-dawn drive from Edinburgh down through the Yorkshire dales I was amazed at how sharp the mountains looked way up in the highlands some 70 miles away. That level of clarity was present all the way as I scanned the landscape from the mountains and back to the comfort and warmth of my car. Crystal clear vision. Happy with that!”

“A suprisingly quick turnaround from my initial consultation to actually going ahead with the proceedure. I have been happy with the aftercare given since the surgery and would recommend Optical Express to anyone wanting to be free of glasses and lenses.”

“The most amazing result has been the freedom from glasses and contact lenses. No more steamed up glasses opening the oven, no more sore eyes through sweat when exercising. No more talking to strange men in the swimmimg pool thinking they are your partner!!! The staff were very supportive and efficient and kept me completely informed at all times. I would recommend the procedure to everyone as there is nothing to be concerned about. The freedom it has given me is wonderful”

“I have been wanting to have laser surgery done for a while, and finally got round to it at Optical Express. I wish I had done it a lot earlier now. Everything from the consulation to the actual surgery was straight forward. The part I was dreading was the actual surgery but this also was over within a few minutes. The day after surgery was uncomfatable as I have very sensitive eyes but over after a few hours. recommended!”

“Experience has been good from the initial consulation through to the aftercare post surgery. Staff at Optical Express have been helpful in answering my questions, preparing me for surgery and ensuring I got the right treatment for my eyes. I'm really pleased with the results one month on and look forward to a life without glasses and contact lenses.”

“Having laser eye surgery has given me more confidence and has saved me money in the long run i hope. i love being able to wear any sunglasses i want and also to lay on sofa without having to take the glasses off all in all very good and i would do it again thank you”

“I heva found the whole experience fantastic. My pre-surgery checks very very thorough and my surgery went very smoothly. Mr Carr, the surgeon was fantastic and my vision was perfect the very next day. Post-surgery care has been fantastic and my vision remains fantastic!”

“For the first time in as long as I can remember I can see clearly beyond 4 inches in front of my face. I have been wearing glasses since I was 5 so to see myself in the mirror without them was really weird for the first few weeks following surgery. The hardest adjustment for me has been to think of myself as a non-glasses wearer, it was such a big part of my identity. I feel like a new person.”

“I have been able to do so much more in life where glasses wearing restricted or made things difficult. I can now go horse riding without having to stop due to foggy lenses; see my friends at the other end of the swimming pool and read the television screen without struggling. The whole service has been impeccable and the utmost care has been given to me at all times. Many thanks!”
