“It hasn't been as easy as I'd hoped but I'm pleased I went for it. I suffered with dry eyes after my first op and my vision regressed slightly within a couple of weeks, before becoming stable at a 20% regression 12-18m later. I had an enhancement 18m later, and was very pleased the surgeon was able to perform LASIK again instead of the LASEK I was booked in for and I am really pleased with the result. So it's been a long haul, but worth the wait as my vision is now as good as it was with lenses (better than 20/20) without them. So thank you.”

“Healing has been slower, but I didn't experience anything morthan discomfort for the first four days. I'm looking forward to my vision stabilising, it is already better than before surgery.”

“I have swapped close up vision for distance vision and on the whole I am quite happy about it. I can still manage most close up tasks without glasses and the freedom afforded by not wearing contact lenses any more is worth the exchange. My eyesight is still improving and although coming to terms with the exchange was difficult at first, it gets easier every day.”

“Extremely satisfied and pleased with the information provided and care throughout from my first enquiries to this stage of 3 month aftercare visit. Actual operation was unbelievably simple with little after effects, golfing 2 days later! Yes some problems with dry eye, but staff have explained what is happening and why and at each visit/stage have provided drops etc which have helped with the problem which is gradually diminishing. Delighted with the sharpness of the distance vision, especially for driving and sport. Pleased to have retained so much reading vision. Due to my age I had expected not to be able to read without glasses and find that I can and only need reading glasses in the evening, in poorer light or if it is very small print.”

“My life is so much easier now without contact lenses or glasses, I always used to forget at least one of the things I needed when going away, now I don't have to worry! I also enjoy being able to see what I's doing when I go swimming. One of the biggest changes is being able to see the clock when I wake up in the night.”

“I am so pleased with the results of laser eye surgery, I can't believe I waited so long to have it done. The freedom from glasses has been a breath of fresh air even though I have always thought I liked wearing them. All the staff were friendly and very knowledgable at both the store I visit for my check-ups and the clinic where the surgery took place. I have already recommended laser eye surgery to friends.”

“I wish I had had the surgery sooner - it is much easier to swim and do the sports I like now I've had the surgery. It was only the cost that prevented me getting the surgery before and if you think about it I will recoup that cost in a few years now I don't have to pay for lenses, solutions etc... It is literally only a very short time of discomfort on the day of surgery for hopefully a lifetime of improved vision.”

“Vision correction laser surgery, is something that I have always wanted to do. Since my vision started to get bad at the age of 15, I have been wearing contact lenses or glasses. I waited a few years after I was eligible for surgery, to ensure that my vision became stable. When I came for my consultation, I had 101 questions to ask, this made me feel very confident, and I knew that I had made the right choice, and that the time was just right. It feels very good to be able to see without having to rely on glasses or contact lenses. Especially when travelling. I would definitely recommend it to anyone I know who may need it.”

“Whilst the level of customer service leading up to my surgery was not very good, on the day the staff were wonderful. I felt very well taken care of and in safe hands. Everything was quick, efficient and painless. The care after has also been very good and any questions I've had have been answered as best they could.”

“I was very nervous about going ahead with the procedure after thinking about it for years, but once I was here with the staff very helpful reasurred me. The procedure was quicker than I was expecting it to be and the few hours after were a little uncomfortable. However the following morning things were a lot better and every day after continued to improve until now when I feel very pleased I went ahead and did it!!”

“Even now going into a restaurant and not needing to take glasses to read the menu is brilliant. Seeing the differrence now on HD TV, where before i couldn't tell the difference is amazing.”
