“Before having Mono Laser treatment I was constantly searching for my glasses, at home, in the supermarket, in the restaurant, at work, on the train to see my seat number, everywhere. I only needed my glasses to read so did not have them on all the time and that means having to remember to take them wherever I went. Now I don't even have to think about whether I will need to read anything - I just can. The surgery was quick and painless and the after care was superb. My vision keeps getting better and better as I adjust to the mono vision (one eye does close, the other distance). My middle vision is not as good as it was but I feel that is a small price to pay to be able to read anything I want to without having to find my glasses. It sounds a bit dramatic but my life is so much easier now.”

“I can honestly say that this is the best investment I have ever made. Small price to pay for perfect vision ! It was a really quick process too. First the consultation to determine your suitability and the cost of treatment. Then the appointment to have the laser eye surgery ! The actual surgery was quick and painless, it was literally over in minutes. A lot of my friends and family feel sqeamish about having their eyes lasered but it really is not as bad as you think it is going to be. You simply look at a red light and there is some clicking as the laser does its thing but you feel nothing and all you see is the red light. Easy ! I would recommend this procedure to everyone who is fed up of wearing glasses and contacts . It has made a massive difference in my life already, no dry uncomfotable eyes from contacts , YAY.”

“Had a relaxed experience with someone always on hand to answer my questions and follow up's the procedure itself was very quick and pain free, that evening was quite uncomfortable but i just made sure i kept my eyes shut and slept lots, i woke up early next more morning and could see perfectly!! all my follow up appointments were quick and easy and any phone calls i made in the following weeks were answered pretty promptly!”

“I deliberated for years about having the procedure - I wish now I'd done it years ago. It takes seconds and you can't feel a thing. One of the staff tells you how many seconds it will take and then counts it down so you know exactly when it will finish. I was shopping the next day! My sister has now had it done and 2 of my best buddies - they saw how easy it was and booked up straight away to have their eyes done too. Repayment plans make paying really easy too. My advice: Just do it!!!!”

“Dear Optical Express, I would like to thank the staff at the Briggate (Leeds) facility for the amazing way in which they made my day of the procedure a calm and relaxing experience. The staff were very friendly and assured me and other customers there about the procedure and in my opinion gave the right amount of support and information to put one at ease. The procedure itself (IFS150 Intralase) was incredible! Quick, simple and totally painless. The post-operative care with the optician in York has been exemplary. I have already given out lots of vouchers to friends for their own procedures and have relished positively discussing my experience to them. As with so many others; I wish I'd had it done years ago! “I had looked into surgery before but thought it was too expensive. However, I had spent most of my life wearing glasses and when Intried contacts 3 years ago, I couldnt wear them comfortably. Any time I wanted to wear contact such as to a part of night out, I would be in agony after 2 hours as my eyes were so dry. I tried every type of brand and material but I was getting fed up with it so after one particularly painful evening, I booked my consultation. Everyone I met was helpful, reassuring and everything was explained so well. On the day itself I was so nervous and the surgeon could tell in the surgery room. One of the nurses held my hand throughout the procedure and that made me feel very relaxed. The actually experience wasn't bad at all and even the discomfort when I got home seems well worth it as my quality of life has improved massively. Every single person I dealt with was amazing. Thank you!”

“Excuse the pun, but it really is. I rarely take the time to write a review for anything, but this is such an amazing experience that it deserves one. I had Lasik Wavefront surgery 2 months ago and it has been an incredible experience. I'm still getting used to not having my glasses on my face all the time, but that's to be expected since I'd been wearing them for about 20 years. I am a lot more confident about myself now and as a young person I really appreciate the freedom this surgery has given me. In return for 10 scary minutes of moving orange lights, I got a lifetime of experiences that I can now fully enjoy. It is costing me quite a lot of money because my eye problems were serious, but I do not regret my decision to undergo the treatment for a single second. It will always be the best money I will have ever spent and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who can afford it. Thank you to the staff at Bluewater Optical Express, medical and non-medical, for being very helpful and supportive.”

“It's been great and far better then wearing my daily lenses? I was hoping for 100% perfection but had to make do with 95%. Optical Express have been fantastic from start to finish but looking back I feel the surgeon could have explained more on what to do and expect. Would I do it all over again? Absolutely yes and with Optical Express It's been a life changing experience.”

“I decided to go for a consultation for eye surgery. At Leeds Brigate the staff are totally trustworthy, professional and not pushy sales people that I expected. They told me I only needed one eye fixing not two. Thus making it cheaper. Discussed options and budgets and made choices all thoroughly explained in easy to understand terms. Had it done pain free and a little uncomfortable for a couple of days. But could see amazing results after a couple of days and it has just got even better over time. Three months on I see extremely well better than I have for years. I recommend this to everyone. Best money I have ever spent and who can put a price on clear crisp glasses free eye sight.Go for it I did and have never regretted it.”

“I was apprehensive at 1st, but I booked a free consultation, and it was the best desision I have ever made. The staff are brilliant al the way through to the aftercare. I would highly recommend having it done or even just going to the consultation. The staff made me feel at ease, they were very friendly and patient as I took my mom and two young children with me, the reception area is child friendly and has a toilet/baby changing room on every floor which as a mom I was very pleased about. Unfortunately I don't know the lady's name that was on reception, as she was fantastic with my children, giving my daughter crayons and a colouring book to keep her occupied while I had my eye tests and aftercare check ups, a fantastic and very friendly lady. All I can add to what I have already said is that, don't let nerves get the better of you like I did for so long, it's worth giving them a visit you will be shocked and very pleased with the results”

“After a negative experience at Moorefields Hospital,I was almost giving up on the idea of having laser surgery, espesially as I wanted monovision (correction of both long and short sightedness). Then my daughters friend recommended a surgeon at Optical Express, having researched laser eye treatment for nearly 2 years. She was very pleased with her experience and results. I took her advise and booked with the same surgeon. My experience was 100% positive, from surgery, to aftercare and results.”

“I was nervous about having the treatment but when I went on the day it was just like a doctors surgery, lots of people sitting in a waiting room being called in to different rooms for different tests, I went in and the surgery took place and I was out in 10minutes, I could not believe how quick and easy it was. I am delighted with my results although my eyes are a little dryer than before its worth it!!”

“My experience with Optical Express: On the whole really pleased, I'm in my 40's and was nervous, they reassured me and allowed me to the take my time and decide if it was the right thing to do. The surgery was very quick and painless, my eyes did feel tired and took a few weeks to adjust and settle down from the event. However it was worth it, I feel so much better, more confident and more, just the small things being able to look form bed at the clock and see the time through to contact sport without worrying about damaging the glasses or hassle of contacts, it is amazing like having new eyes, even my golf handicap has dropped!! I have recommended to everyone I see with glasses as why suffer if there is a chance of change and improvement. The only negative was once you have had it done the after care service seems to drop off and I expected more checkups at 3&6 months.”

“Would definitely recommened Optical Express , after wearing contacts and glasses from a young age , it has transformed my life . I am more confident and love swimming , love waking up in the morning and I can see not needing to put my glasses on its life changing and would tell any one who was thinking of having it done to use Optical Express as I had been to other Named clinics and had been scared to death not feeling confident about what they would do. when I went to opticall express they were great put me at ease and answered my questions , I came out of my consultation feeling great and knew I would have the treatment done . The staff were great at Cheltenham put me at ease straight away nothing was to much trouble i'm so pleased I had it done it really is life changing Thank You Opticall Expreess!”

“I never thought laser eye surgery would live up to the hype. By the next day I had 20/20 vision and experienced no pain, just a bit of light sensitivity - I was shopping by the next day!!! The care I received at optical express was impeccable and the after care I'm still getting is great. I required treatment prior to my surgery due to over wearing my contact lenses and they gave me everything I needed to ensure I could have it done. I would recommend optical express to anyone considering laser eye surgery 10/10.”

“It was a scary experience however my life has improved as a result. I would have liked abit more information about what would happen straight after surgery. e.g i couldn't see after surgery for about a day. Ive heard that you should be able to see clearly straight away (dont know if this is correct or not). However after the first day i can see clearly now with 20/16 vision. However overall, it is amazing!!!”
