“One week post surgery and I am very happy with the results. Perfect vision after only one hour of slight discomfort following the procedure. It's well worth it, highly recommended.”

“I think it is the best thing I've ever done in my life. I don't miss wearing glasses or contact lenses at all. The Optical Express staff were very helpful and supportive the whole time and I would reccomend it to anyone. I am looking forward to doing things which I couldn't do before the treatment,like diving, and I won't miss searching for my glasses first thing in the morning.”

“I've just recently had intraocular surgery in both eyes. This one was a fortnight ago. This one was a week ago. There was no pain, very relaxed during the surgery. It's taken 2 weeks to sort of get over the anaesthetic, but I can see just as I could when I was a young girl. I've been wearing specs all the time for 14 / 40 years and I've just had my eye test and I might just need a half magnification to read very small print, but I notice this week I've been able to do the computer, drive, read a book, read the newspaper, which is marvellous. Most of all I've enjoyed having peripheral vision because my eyesight was quite poor, outside of my spectacles was blurred, so I'm really enjoying it. No pain afterwards, no bloodshot eyes. I got over it really well. I would recommend it.”

“I was told laser eye surgery would change my life. For my 21st Birthday I decided after years of wearing glasses, I would finally get it done. In my opinion it was the best decision ever. A complete new lease of life, no more glasses or contacts! If you are thinking about laser eye surgery, DO IT.”

“Life changing! No longer having to search for glasses that could never be found. I needed glasses for both long and short distance so I knew monovision was certainly the way to go. I love swimming and taking part in triathalons so not having to wear glasses is a dream. The staff were so professional and caring, truly a wonderful experience and totally painfree!”

“All my life I've had bad eye sight. I hated wearing glasses as a child and into my adult life. Contact lenses were better but such a hassle. I took the plunge and had LASIK 18 months ago and haven't looked back. Best decision I've ever made and money well spent!”

“I had worn glasses since I was 9 years old. I tried contacts but could not get on with them. I came for a consultation, had the surgery and It has changed my life. It has done wonders for my confidence and I am happier now. First thing in the morning, not having to reach for your glasses is such a wonderful feeling. I feel the shackles of glasses has finally been smashed. My sight has actually improves since the surgery. Would I reccomend it? YES! My 18 year old daughter is now in the chair!”

“I have found the whole experience so much better than I expected. All the staff are prfessional and put you at ease from your first consultation through to the aftercare. My sight is now perfect for me and apart from dryness I am very pleased. No pain, very quick and a pleasure to be treated so well.”

“My treatment day went easier than I had expected, thanks to Sarah holding my very nervous hand. It was completely painless! I went home to sleep and all was well until the second day as I woke up feeling as If I had continously chopped onions. I took painkillers and tried to sleep as much as possible. By day 3 it was all over, I was much more comfortable and smiling again! Great staff at Optical Express, I'm very grateful.”

“Its wonderful being able to watch the TV and drive without glasses or lenses, to wake up in the morning switch the TV on and be able to see everything. My brother had it done at the same store a few months before me thats what made my mind up. I only had one eye treated as I had previously only wore contact lenses in my right up for seeing in the distance and my left eye did my reading. The optician suggested that I only treat one eye as then I wouldnt need reading glasses. The staff were extremely nice and professional and I was always seen on time within 5 mins for my check ups..I can't believe how quick and painless the Laser treatment was it literally took 5 mins..I say anyone who is thinking of having it done...go for it...”
