“was very happy that i have had this done but the one thing i would say is to recommend to other patients to bring painkillers for straight after the treatment.”

“The operation has to be the most terrifying thing I have ever done, mostly because you have to watch it happen. However, the resutls have been fantastic and I couldn't fault it. Overall, Optical Express have been fantastic, I feel I made a good choice and would reccommend to friends! Thanks!!”

“I had been planning to have laser eye surgery for a long time and knew once I was able to afford it that it would be a great opportunity. The procedure itself was pretty straightforward and I felt that the staff were really friendly and ever since having it done its boosted my confidence although im still getting used to not wearing glasses. I would recommend the surgery to anyone as you really can notice the difference literally a day after surgery.”

“I was feeling pretty nervous before hand but the staff made me feel at ease. The treatment itself lasts only a few seconds and is only mildly uncomfortable and the process was explained all the way through. Post treatment was quite unpleasant and painful but this only lasted a few hours. I would recommend taking someone with you to help you get home and some sunglasses for after the treatment as your eyes are VERY sensitive to light. I slept for 3hrs once i got home and when i woke up i could see perfectly and the pain had subsided to it just feeling a little irritated. Beware...your eyes are very bloodshot for a couple of days. after a few months 1 of my eyes was a little bit dry so i had to use drops but only occasionally. Almost one year on and I've never looked back! So happy, just wish I'd done it earlier. Amazing experience and well worth the price!!”

“An unbelievably Quick & procedure in the company of very friendly and helpful staff. I can still see great and I don't have to waste time putting contacts in and out anymore! The only negative I can say is that it is a Shame they don't include painkillers in the service”

“Absolutely money well spent!!! My vision now is perfect after relying on contact lenses and glasses for 14 years. The service was fantastic from my first check all the way through to the day of procedure. Haven't recommend laser eye surgery to many friends. Procedure is pain free and was back to my normal everyday lifestyle within a couple of days. Thank you optical express for changing my life forever! ;-)”

“I have wanted to get this done for a long time ... until I personally knew someone that got it done and they recommened it to me I was a bit reluctant. I got to a stage where I hated my glasses and contacts and stopped buying lenses to make myself go for it - it was such an easy experience I would do it again and again and again if I had to. The day itself was a bit uncomfortable - but not unpleasant - if you follow the guidance you can't go wrong. I feel its the best thing I've ever done and will recommend it and Optical Express to everyone I know. Thank you to Mr Minos and all the staff involved its an amazing thing you do for people.”

“On the wall of the operating room there was a large clock. I went from "what clock?" to telling the time withing 15 minutes. Can't fault the service received. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful. Would reccomend this to anyone.”

“After many years of wearing glasses and contacts I finally decided to take the leap and get my eyes lasered.....everything was great from the consultation to the aftercare..second to none! Why I waited so long to have surgery I will never know but best thing I ever did. It is costly but you cant put a price on your sight!”

“the team have on all ocassions been very helpful, i thank them deeply and have great confidence with optical express, i have 5 members of family who will be using optical express. there were a few issues, i paid ?2500 for my treatment and on the day of my surgery there were people there who paid less for the same treatment, that hurts a bit but oh well, the service and the support makes up for that.”

“i have to admit i was a little scared at frist but a soon as i arrived i was put at ease and made to feel very calm, couldnt believe the procedure was done so quick and after a little discomfort when i returned home after about 2 hours my vision was perfect. my quality of life has improved so much and i am so greatful to all staff and the surgeons for their wonderful skills.”

“On the morning of my surgery I was extremely nervous but everyone in Optical Express made me feel very welcome and at ease. The procedure itself was a doddle and apparently was only 6 seconds an eye which I couldn't beleive! About an hour after surgery I was light sensitive and for the rest of the day it was a little uncomfortable which resulted in me wearing sunnies all day. The following morning was absultely awful. It took me over an hour to open my eyes and when i did manage it the stinging "peeling onions sensation" was horrendous. However, I can now say as the weeks have went on that it was worth while for me and things are definately clearer and a lot more comfortable now.”

“Extremely pleased that i decided to have laser surgery. The surgeon went out of her way to explain the process and went an extra mile to ensure that I could get my Wavefront Laser done as my pupils were a little small for the machine to take the reading. The surgery staff and the rest of the staff have been all brilliant.”

“The overall results from having had eye laser treatment have been amazing. My range of vision is the most notable enhancement to my vison. Last week on a fantasticaly clear pre-dawn drive from Edinburgh down through the Yorkshire dales I was amazed at how sharp the mountains looked way up in the highlands some 70 miles away. That level of clarity was present all the way as I scanned the landscape from the mountains and back to the comfort and warmth of my car. Crystal clear vision. Happy with that!”
