“I am very happy with my improved vision and perhaps a little sorry I did not get laser eye surgery done sooner. Its great not to be looking for my glasses all the time and not putting contact lenses when on a night out. I feel more free with no glasses and no contact lenses. I hope to learn to swim in the future. Before, I found it hard to make my way around the swimming pool with no glasses and poor vision. I would recommend laser eye surgery although I was a little nervous before the procedure. But it was well worth it.”

“JUST BEING ABLE TO WAKE UP AND SEEING IS GREAT!! I HAVE 2 CHILDREN WHO WOULD LOVE ME TO TAKE THEM SWIMMING BUT COULD NOT BEFORE AS I COULDNT WEAR CONTACTS SO THIS IS GOING TO CHANGE THE WAY WE DO THINGS TOGETHER. ITS THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE LIKE BEING OUT IN THE RAIN AND NOT HAVING TO KEEP WIPING RAIN OFF MY GLASSES ETC.”

“I was a bit anxious about having laser eye surgery as I had such a strong minus prescription in both my eyes (-6 and -7) and a double astymatism. However the results have been fantastic and I can now see better than I ever could with glasses. I did find it very painful for around 2 hours but after that, had no pain just very dry eyes. It was definately worth it!”

“So pleased my daughter led me to think of this experience. Being a nurse I was quite anxious re the proceedure. The staff all made it a very easy process, talking me thriough every step of the way clearly and professionally. Not at all the unpleasant proceedure I anticipated. Felt no discomfort whatsoever during or after. Still being monitored re visual improvements anticipated. Amazing to now be able to read telephone and drug directories.”

“The procedure was much simpler/quicker than what I expected. No pain or uncomfortable feelings during the surgery. Very quick (4-5 hours) and painless recovery. Amazing result at the end! Well done!”

“I was open minded about what to expect from surgery and found it very painful for about an hour afterwards, but within 24 hours I felt almost fully recovered, and 4 weeks later I am very happy with the results indeed - it has not fully sunk in that I no longer need glasses. I can work for longer without feeling tired and feel my vision is actually better now than when I wore glasses.”

“Could not have turned out better. I can see better now than I ever did with my contact lenses and glasses. Couldn't believe how much I used to squint all the time before, people can actually see my eyes now!! Would definitely recommend.”

“Overall very satisfied with results; noticed a vast improvement in eyesight within 24 hours of having the surgery. The surgery itself took less than 20 mins and was painless. The team at both Dublin Ballbridge for the surgery and at Dundrum for the post op care were excellent, very professional and answered all questions I had regarding the procedure.”

“My eyes feell more relaxed and less tired because I can now see well things around me. I did not wear glasses before as often as I should, and couldnt make myself wearing them. Now I dont have to worry about that and neither about putting in contacts. Wearing contacts irritated my eyes. I can now forget about all that. Laser eye surgery made my life easier.”
