“Having laser eye surgery is the best thing I have ever done - having been wearing glasses since I was 13, I should have had it done years ago!”

“Aside from the burning sensation that I experience shortly after the surgery, everything since then has been great. I have enjoyed not having to squint or dread putting in my contacts. I am really glad that I was able to have the surgery and enjoy the new view on life. The process was definitely worth it.”

“I liked my glasses, they were an accessory (albeit an essential one), like shoes and handbags.I enjoyed wearing different styles, creating a new look with each pair. People identified me with glasses. I didn't think I would want to give them up. However I like exercising too so my glasses could get in the way and contacts could be a faff, splitting, dropping them, finding I didn't have any left etc. I also had my first baby and found with a young son convenience became moer of a priority so I decided to take the plunge. I am delighted I did. My vision is great. I can run in the rain and see, I can walk into the underground without steaming up, I can play with my son without him pulling my glasses of my face. Sometimes people don't recognise me now - which can also be a good thing... Perfect vision no glasses or contact lenses = more shoes, handbags and sunglasses (and without paying extra for prescription). So I am a complete laser convert.”

“The best thing i have ever done!! I was told by Boots opticians i wasn't an ideal candidate due to dry eyes, but they couldn't have been more wrong. The whole procedure went brilliantly, i have had no pain what so ever during or afterwards. To top it off my eyes don't even feel dry, if you're thinking about it, just go for it!”

“So far so good in many aspects of vision. there are some issues which will be ok with time. I would recommend my friends and relatives for laser eye surgery if they are interested. It does worth having the surgery. It has improved my quality of life.”

“I'd worn contact lens for 30 years, and neither glasses or lens were really giving me the level of sight I wanted any more. I couldn't believe how much better my eyes have been since I had surgery and wish I'd had it done sooner. I'm a competitive horse rider, in the GB Squad for Trec (orienteering on horseback) and I can now look forward to many more years competing at the top level of this sport in the UK and abroad.”

“I had been considering laser eye surgery for some time, having worn contacts for most of my life. 4 months in, and I don't know why I waited so long to do it: my morning routine is far easier, playing sport and going to the gym is far less hassle, and I don't have to worry about taking spare contact lenses everywhere I go! The interest free credit over ten months helps a lot with the financial impact of the surgery as well.”

“I wore contacts over 8 hours every day and I found they irritated my eyes a lot and I thought this would be the ideal opportunity for me to get on with my life without the hassle. It has improved my life tremendously because now I can get on without worrying about putting my contacts on in the morning and taking them out at night. Thank you Optical Express!!”

“I would like to say my sincere and huge thanks to everyone here - every team member's caring attitude instilled lots of confidence in me at my initial checkup that I was at ease getting my Laser surgery done. Any fears were quickly dispelled. They made my experience with Laser Surgery an wonderful experience and I am recommending it to my friends and work colleagues. So glad I came here - wish i had taken this step sooner. Finally my huge thanks to the surgeon who performed the Laser, who made me feel confortable and honest truth is that I experiened minimal discomfort - Thanks again for a job very well done. :-)”

“When i had my eyes done it was mildly uncomfortable, alot better than expected. For about a week after my eyes were abit sencertive to light But it soon went away. On my appointment the day after my eyes were 1 line better than 20/20 and have got better since. I would recommend it to anyone.I hope everyone has the same good experience as i had. David Thompson”

“I felt slightly nervous on the day of surgery but I knew it was something I really wanted. The surgery was completely pain free and the drops were easy to apply. I have had not pain or discomfort following surgery and I its let me feeling so positive and happier. I would highly reccommend it.”
