“I felt slightly nervous on the day of surgery but I knew it was something I really wanted. The surgery was completely pain free and the drops were easy to apply. I have had not pain or discomfort following surgery and I its let me feeling so positive and happier. I would highly reccommend it.”

“I found the whole treatment prosedure very easy and comfortable. The evening I went home after was hard not being able to look at anything slightly bright. After just 48 hours I felt as good as new now could see perfect! Have been for all check up's which had hardly any waiting time and the staff were friendly and the waiting room was compfortable with entertainment. Thank you very much to all at Optical Expess Birmingham!”

“It was an amazing experience, i knew exactly what was going on at all times, its not what you expect, its better. The surgery doesn't hurt, the only discomfort i had was for 3 hours after surgery. My eyes was stinging (like when you peel onions) after that it was brilliant, watched t.v. and could see all the small print on the screen.”

“Very satisfied with experience overall,was very glad when surgery day was over to be honest! but i havent looked back since,the surgeon sent me away on day i was originally supposed to hav esurgery done,due to eye shape had changed from 14 yrs of almost constant wearing contact lenses,and although i was dissapointed, i was happy to hear him not do surgery that day,i was reassured that he would just go ahead anyway,so 4 weeks later i came back and my surgean was happy with to go ahead,my sight now 3 months later is better than it ever was with contact lenses,its really wonderful. i still have to remind myself not to have to take out my lenses at the end of the day!!! Im so happy to be contact lense free!!!!!!!!! the staff were all really lovely and professional.”

“Initially the surgery was not as successful as I had hoped. However, I was told I could have more surgery which would improve my vision further. Having had second surgery my eyesight is now really good and I do think it has improved my quality of life> I do a lot of walking in the countryside and not having to wear glasses has made this experience a lot more satisfying.”

“Having this surgery was one of the best thing I have yet done for my self. The surgery was painless, but the recovery after the surgery was painful and discomforting, but it was worth it. The pain lasted for only 3-5 hours, and now I can see better than 20/20. I am very happy with the results. The staff are amazing, helpful and caring. Thank you Optical Express!!”

“i work as a nurse in an Interventional Radiology Department, handling delicate cathaters that need to be mounted onto fine wires, i was worried that surgery may affect my work but have found that if anything manipulating the wires has become easier and i am not having to ask my colleagues to push my glasses up all the time. After 25 years of wearing glasses i wish i had had the proceedure done a long time ago.”

“Having had Lasik 3 years ago I had to have Lasek with the contact lense for 4 days. This has improved my vision as my eyes are now more balanced. My right eye was twice as bad as the left and I now have great vision in both eyes. My only issue with Optical Express is that I have to travel over an hour and a half to get to a laser store. There is a store in my home city Lincoln but they do not do post laser treatment. I feel that this would have been more beneficial to me to have a local store instead of travelling this distance for eye tests. overall I am very satisfied with Optical Express and I would recommend to anyone thinking about laser treatment to go with this company.”

“I had been thinking about having an eye laser surgery for a while, but I had been a bit scared. From my first visit to Optical Express I felt very well looked after. The staff explained the procedure to me and all my questions were answered. My eye laser surgery took place 3 days before Christmas. I think it was the best Christmas present I have ever had.”

“treatment quick and pain free, some discomfort for about 4 hours in the afternoon after (best to go to bed for this time, as its difficult to open eyes), then got up again and sight was already better. From the next morning sight has been good, with very little discomfort. Would recommend to anyone.....it really does make a HUGE difference to your life”

“My experience was fantastic. The procedure was slightly uncomfortable but not painful, and after the initial first few hours I had full sight. From then on I have never looked back. It is great not to have to wear contact lenses or glasses anymore.”

“i looked into getting the surgery a few years ago but didnt go ahead because of money and work issues. i wish i had got it when i first looked into it. laser eye surgery is the best thing i have done so far in regards with my appearance and now because of it i can do more challenging and exciting things in life and be able to see along the way”
