“Cannot believe how lovely it has become not having to depend on my glasses ,so much more freedom when doing tasks.would recomend this surgery to anyone ,in fact my friends are probably sick of hearing about it .so thank you optical express .”

“I had laser eye surgery in late December 2012. My memories of Xmas and New Year are recalled with brighter, clearer and deeper vision.The confidence of the staff in the procedure is palpable and confirmed by a return to my pre-specs eyesight. I keep walking around the city smiling at what I can see without frames or scratches!”

“The first tiime I went for the eye surgery, it didn't go well. I was extremely worried so they had to book for me another appointment. The second time I was in and out in 5 minutes.... and very happy. The day after I was able to drive...just a little disconfort and headhache for few days.”

“I've some difficulty with lights, because I work in a mine and I'm in articfical light all day and the air quality This has added to the problem and my recovery time in my oponion Still happy to have had the surgery done”

“I was wearing glasses for nearly 30 years. I wish I had gone for surgery much sooner, it makes life a lot easier, esp.when it comes to sports. There's a little difference still in the eyes, the one with the higher prescription is still a little bit short sighted (0.75), but the overall vision is brilliant. Would do it again any time!”

“I have worn Glasses since I was 18 years old, and that is not a time you want to start wearing glasses. However, since I heard of Laser eye surgery I wanted it. I saved up for a few years specifically to do it and got a great offer! I have had a great experience doing it with Optical Express. The staff are all great, always so nice and helpful. I sometimes can't belive that I don't need glasses anymore, when I think about it I smile. The surgery was fast and relatively painless, just some discomfort the first evening and that's it. Now I have great vision. Thanks Optical Express.”

“Having worn glasses since I was a teenager I really appreciate the freedom I have gained since having laser surgery. I have probably spent thousands on glasses over the years so the expense of laser surgery has to be weighed up against the cost of all those future spectacles I won't be buying now”

“I am very satisfied with my laser eye treatment at Optical Express. I was understandably nervous going into the treatment room but the surgeon and nurses immediately put me at ease, they were very friendly and told me I had nothing to worry about. I couldn't believe it the next morning when I woke up and could see everything perfectly! This was confirmed when I went to my 24 hour check up and was told I had better than 20/20 vision. Since the treatment all the staff have been lovely at my post-op check ups and I would recommend going ahead with treatment for anybody who is considering it. Thank you!”

“I have had an amazing experience with optical express (Princes st, Edinburgh), from the moment I first enquired about laser eye surgery to the post surgery check ups. The staff make you feel safe and confident that they know what they are talking about. The decision was made easy for me, simply laid out and explained. I have no regrets with the surgery, everything was positive. the surgery experience wasnt the nicest but that was down to the procedure not the staff. Looking back i dont rememebr the surgery i just think about the AMAZING results and the great customer service. Optical express should be very proud of the staff at the Princes Street, Edinburgh store, THANK YOU.”

“While somewhat apprehensive of potential consequences, I really had nothing to fear despite being petrified during the operation for about 10 seconds. The surgeon was extremely careful to point out the options of monovision versus binocular vision as I'm at a stage where reading glasses is a border line. I opted for binocular and am very happy that my short sight for reading, menus and mobile phone is better than I feared. Thank you Optical Express.”
